Abstract: The flow of a processing liquid poured onto the surface of a substrate at a standstill to process the substrate from the surface to the back surface of the substrate is suppressed to achieve satisfactory cleaning. When a processing liquid is poured onto a substrate held in a horizontal position by a substrate holding unit to carryout a predetermined process, for example, a cleaning liquid is discharged through a discharge opening corresponding to the entire circumference of the back surface of the substrate before pouring the processing liquid onto the surface of the substrate, and the cleaning liquid discharged on the back surface of the substrate and a liquid flowing from the surface to the back surface of the substrate are sucked through a suction opening corresponding to the entire circumference of the back surface of the substrate and included in a first suction means. Thus an outward flow of the cleaning liquid is produced on the back surface of the substrate.

Abstract: Substrates having liquid films with preprocessing liquid on surfaces thereof in a preprocessing unit are transported to a freezing unit arranged separately from the preprocessing unit by a substrate transporting robot. In the freezing unit, the substrates are accommodated in a processing space in a processing chamber and the liquid films are frozen by decreasing the temperature of the processing space to a temperature below the freezing point of the preprocessing unit. Subsequently, the substrates subjected to the freezing process are transported from the freezing unit to a post-processing unit arranged separately from the freezing unit. In the post-processing unit, cleaning liquid is supplied to frozen films, whereby contaminants having adhesive forces to the substrate reduced by the freezing process can be easily removed together with the frozen film.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for cleaning industrial vessels that are exposed to volatile organic compounds. The method has the steps of providing industrial equipment to be cleaned that has accumulated volatile organic compounds. Next, an organic cleaning solution is provided. The cleaning solution is transformed into foam. The foam is applied to a media of said equipment, such as a ceramic bed. The lower bubbles of the foam burst as the bubbles contact the media such that said cleaning solution continuously reapplies itself to the media of said equipment. During the process, operators ensure the cleaning solution stays in a wet phase. The equipment undergoes numerous rinsing phases and then the media is dried.

Abstract: To be able to simply carry out an operation of repairing a punctured pneumatic tire, to be able to inject a necessary amount of a sealing agent firmly into the pneumatic tire even when the apparatus is used in an inclined state and to prevent clogging of the sealing agent and leakage of a liquid by being pressurized. A pump up apparatus 30 is an apparatus for injecting a sealing agent in a liquid state into a punctured pneumatic tire 38, thereafter, supplying compressed air into the pneumatic tire 38 to elevate an inner pressure thereof. The pump up apparatus 30 includes a sealing agent vessel 34 accommodating the sealing agent, a sealing agent injecting pump 42 for sucking the sealing agent from the sealing agent vessel 34 to feed it to the pneumatic tire 38, and a compressor 44 for pressurizing and sending air to the pneumatic tire 38.

Abstract: The *GALD07.Y.CONNECTION* is the invention of which the possibility to refuel a vehicle from either left or right side is created. The invention comprised of a fuel filler tube opening on the left side of a vehicle and another fuel filler tube opening on the right side. The two fuel filler tubes are attached by a third tube in the shape of a Y leading towards the vehicle fuel tank through the existing hole. All new as well as used vehicles can take advantage of this invention. Simply make a new opening opposite the side of the existing one for refueling. There is no need to redesign the fuel tank or make additional holes to have both sides connected. The invention shape as a Y would be connected to the fuel tank through the existing hole. The more new and used vehicles equipped with this invention the less the problems of refueling at the gas stations.

Abstract: Provided is a rare earth sintered magnet which can attain a high residual magnetic flux density without causing a drop in coercive force or mechanical strength. The above-described problems are resolved by a rare earth sintered magnet which includes a sintered body whose carbon amount as determined by mass spectrometry is between 500 and 1,500 ppm, wherein a cv-value of the carbon amount on a rupture plane thereof is no greater than 200. The production method for this rare earth sintered magnet includes the steps of: preparing a compacted body by compressing in a magnetic field a raw material alloy powder has a carbon amount of no greater than 1,200 ppm as determined by mass spectrometry, and a Cmax/Cmin value of 15 or less wherein Cmax and Cmin respectively represent a maximum value and a minimum value of X-ray intensity of characteristic X-rays of carbon as determined by EPMA (Electron Probe Micro Analyzer); and sintering the compacted body.
