Publication number: 20070235352Abstract: A receptacle that is foldable between its open mode for receiving material and a secured mode where its top is double folded and secured with fasteners for maintaining material within the receptacle, or the receptacle is foldable between its open mode and a storage mode when the receptacle is folded to align releasable fasteners and to create a pass-through pocket for receiving accessories. In the storage mode, the receptacle can easily be carried in a pocket or purse until needed to receive undesirable material for disposal. The receptacle can be unfolded from the storage mode to the open mode to receive material.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2006Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventor: Craig Madson

Publication number: 20070235353Abstract: A greeting product and method for conveying a greeting may utilize a banner-shaped greeting structure and a container therefor, the greeting structure having indicia constituting a greeting message, the greeting structure having an extended position in which it is adapted for being displayed, and having a compacted position, and the container being shaped and sized for receiving the greeting structure in its compacted position. The greeting product and the container may have substantially matching shapes when the greeting structure is in the compacted position. The greeting structure may include a plurality of similarly shaped units, linked together. Portions of a greeting message may be placed on respective ones of the units. The units may be polygonal, or at least partially rounded, circular or any other desired shape. The container itself may also have indicia related to the greeting message.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 10, 2006Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventors: Judy Kirsch, Ann Strumer

Publication number: 20070235354Abstract: A package for housing two discs including a cover forming an elongated spine panel with first and second opposing panels extending therefrom such that the opposing panels selectively rotate between open and closed postions. First and second partial trays attach to the first and second opposing panels, respectively, and are laterally spaced so that when closed, the thickness of the package is approximately equal to that of one of the trays. Each partial tray has a planar surface forming a periphery and a recess, a rosette near a first side of the tray for engaging a central aperture to retain a disc within the recess and a spacing rim upstanding from the planar surface. The spacing rim is U-shaped so that in the closed position, the spacing rims do not overlap.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 31, 2007Publication date: October 11, 2007Applicant: MeadWestvaco CorporationInventors: George Rufo, James Philippe

Publication number: 20070235357Abstract: Product container 10 has base 10B carrying collapse voids 12A and 12B and 12C. The collapse voids are located in the perimeter of the container, and intrude into the container defining open span faces 14A and 14B and 14C. Tear-off skin wrap 10W encloses the container and extends unsupported across the span faces of the collapse voids. A stress site proximate each collapse void, engage the material of the skin wrap spanning the span faces, causing initial tensile failure of the spanning material (see FIG. 2). Cover 10C may be hinge connected to the base at side points 10L and 10R. The cover pivots over the base forming a closure or protective jacket having three rigid dimensions. Product 10P is contained within the closure. Product insert 10I is mounted on the base and may be custom shaped for holding the product during shipment and later during consumer storage.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 2, 2007Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventor: William S.
