    Abstract: The constituent elements of a carcass structure of a tyre are formed by laying elementary components on a building support including an inflatable bladder set in an inflated condition in which it substantially reproduces the inner configuration of the carcass structure to be obtained. A belt structure carrying a tread band, both produced separately, is coaxially disposed around the carcass structure formed on the building support and applied thereto following a radial expansion of the inflatable bladder. In a vulcanisation mould, the building support is submitted to an over-inflation step to press the tyre against the inner walls of the mould. The circumferential edges of the inflatable bladder are in engagement with respective anchoring flanges with possibility of movement in a radial direction, so as to be submitted to an elastic expansion during the over-inflation step.

    Abstract: An art material which resembles the texture of molding clay, said material being made from paper, preferably crepe paper, newspaper, tissue paper and the like and made by the process of soaking in hot water the paper until softened and slowly mashing it until it becomes pulp, agitating by hands the pulp paper to break up any unmashed paper until an even consistency is achieved, squeezing gently the pulp paper to remove some of the water but maintaining moistness, mixing with white glue the moist pulp paper in even proportion until an even consistency of fine and moist paper clay is achieved, adding color to the paper clay, setting aside the mixture for about 15 minutes and then missing again, transferring the mixture to containers to keep it moist and packing the mixture.

    Abstract: The present invention concerns the development of a process for obtaining ?-TiAl castings, with a maximum thickness of 20 mm, starting from melting charges constituted by commercially pure Ti and Al. In this process the metallic charge is induction melted in a ZrO2 ceramic crucible inside coated with Y2O3, the pouring being performed by centrifugation in ZrO2 moulds, with an Y2O3 contact coating, obtained by the lost wax moulding process. The whole sequence of operations is accomplished under argon atmosphere. The use of this process, besides avoiding the use of previously melted charges needing very specific furnaces, allows to obtain parts with homogeneous chemical composition and very low contamination with residual elements, without surface oxidation, with a hardness quite uniform from the surface to the inside of castings, which reveal a surface finishing identical to that recommended by the international standards for steel castings obtained by the same moulding process.
