Abstract: A package for holding a plurality of jewel cases for optical discs is provided, comprising a shell member having a first compartment and a second compartment, a cover sealably attachable to the shell member, and one or more mask areas on the shell member. Each of the mask areas are sized and positioned to obscure bar code indicia on the individual jewel cases contained within the shell member. In a preferred embodiment, the package is transparent, and it may contain a CD jewel case and a DVD jewel case. A third compartment contains an informational insert with a bar code or other point-of-sale indicia so that the package can be sold as a single unit.

The package includes a base container and a cover, the base container and cover having interengaging structure in order to hold them together. The base container and cover are wrapped with shrink wrap to provide a sealed package. An outer package contains a plurality of commodity packages and facilitates loading of the commodity packages onto a display structure. The outer package is manually alterable so that it supports each of the plurality of commodity packages while the display structure is received by hanger members provided on the commodity packages. Once the commodity packages are loaded onto the display structure, the outer package is pulled away.

Said selective separation method acts by separating these materials with regard to a density threshold selected in a dense medium consisting of separating fluid liquid suspensions composed of powdery particles dispersed in an aqueous phase. These suspensions are stabilized by using a dynamic stabilizing means at a density threshold value selected for causing the selective separation of a determined fraction from the mixture of the used materials to be separated.

Abstract: A recycling mechanism is provided for use with a compact dedusting apparatus to clean the contaminate-laden air discharged from the dedusting apparatus for subsequent re-use by the dedusting apparatus. The recycling mechanism provides a closed loop air containment system that retains the air within the apparatus without providing discharge to the atmosphere. The recycling mechanism includes a cyclonic separator that removes most of the dust and contaminates from the air discharged from the deduster. The air discharged from the cyclonic separator is passed to an inline high efficiency synthetic cartridge filter for final cleaning before being passed back into the fan that drives cleansing air through the deduster. The contaminant material removed by the cyclonic separator is collected by an air tight dust collection container installed at the cyclone outlet for subsequent removal from the system.

Each mailpiece is deposited in a receiving bin assigned with its mailstop. When the number of mailstops exceeds the number of receiving bins, the control system empties a receiving bin and assigns the new mailstop to the emptied bin so it can receive mailpieces having the new mailstop. Accordingly, the system can sort mail destined for “m” mailstops into “n” receiving bins where “m” is greater than “n”.

The improved systems and methods rely upon direct contact between the resin and a liquid product containing enrichment cultures of or pure strains of perchlorate-destroying microorganisms. Controlled temperatures also lead to improvements as do upflow conditions leading to bed expansion. These methods can be incorporated into methods for removing perchlorate from aqueous streams.

Abstract: A product and apparatus for cleaning water or industrial and sewage waste water includes a mixture of diatomite that is heated and stirred to impart an enhanced negative electrical charge to the diatomite. A mixture of approximately 50% aluminium chloride (AlCl3) by volume is blended to provide a powder mixture for use as a flocculant in the system. According to a modification, the charged diatomite is instead blended with a mixture of approximately 50% ferric chloride (FeCl3) by volume and is stored in liquid form for later use as a flocculent in the system. From one to five percent, by volume, of polyacrylamide is preferably added to the mixture for use in sewage waste water treatment applications. An efficient system for reacting either the mixture or separately adding the diatomite and the metallic chloride to the water is described.

Abstract: A system for processing a composition of sand and animal waste includes a first separation tank receiving water from a water source and receiving the composition from a transport. The composition and the water are mixed in the first separation tank to form a liquefied animal waste and sand combination, and to separate and collect the sand from the resulting liquefied animal waste. The liquefied animal waste and the collected sand are separately removed from the first separation tank, and the recovered sand may be reused while the liquefied waste is supplied to a waste storage or processing location. The system may include a second separation tank operable identically to the first separation tank, and control of the two separation tanks may be coordinated such that one of the tanks is being filled while the other is being emptied.
