Abstract: A low profile, flush resistant, through shoulder entry system for a wetsuit is disclosed. In one disclosed embodiment, the wetsuit has a stretchable entryway formed through a head-opening portion with a head flap pivotally secured to the body of the wetsuit. The head flap pivots to define an open position whereby a user can easily enter and exit the wetsuit through the stretchable entryway, and a closed position. At least one gusset extends between the wetsuit and head flap. In another embodiment, the head flap is detachably secured in its closed position with a combination of a horizontally mounted slide fastener and hook and loop material.

Abstract: Provided in embodiments of the present invention is a water sport garment providing protection from cold water and having an improved access system for entry into or exit from the garment. In one embodiment, the water sport protective garment includes a torso portion, pant-leg portions extending from the torso portion, non-openable sleeve portions extending from the torso portion, and at least one openable seam extending from the torso portion down each of the pant-leg portions such that when the openable seam is opened a section of the torso portion and sections of the leg portions can be displaced to improve access into and egress from the protective garment.

Abstract: Disclosed is a finger worn implement with a brush, or other cleaning implement, that allows rock climbers to easily clean accumulated chalk from the areas around rock climbing holds. The implement included a cot with attached upper and lower bands that are secured to the finger of a user. A wire brush or nylon bristles are secured to the cot and can be used to sweep out accumulations of chalk.

Abstract: A baby bib with a protective neckline is disclosed. The bib protects the baby's clothes and skin from spilled food. A protective neck strap scrunches under a child's neck to ensure that the neckline is adequately covered and protected from food and liquid spilled or drooled out of a baby's mouth when feeding. Back straps secure the bib to the torso of the baby. The bib is removed without moving or disturbing the baby. The bib is constructed from either waterproof and washable materials or disposable materials. Other features include various accessories such as pockets and tear-off attachments and a fastening system.

Abstract: A stain guard prevents stain or damage to a garment or an article of clothing. The stain guard includes a thin sheet having a predetermined size and shape configured to be worn over the garment or the article of clothing. The stain guard includes adhesives applied to selected areas on one side of the thin sheet. One or more peel-off strips or patches cover the adhesives. The peel-off strips or patches are removed to expose the adhesives to attach the stain guard to the garment or the article of clothing. The stain guard can be made from a plastic, a cellophane or other suitable materials. The stain guard can be made into various sizes to fit individuals having different sizes. The stain guard can be dispensed from a roll of perforated stain guards so that individual pieces can be torn from the perforated roll for use. The stain guard can also be dispensed from a box of stain guards.

Abstract: A garment is disclosed for the prevention of decubitus ulcers. The garment is preferably made of at least two layers which articulate against each other and thus prevent friction against the skin of the wearer. The garment is also padded to prevent excessive pressure against the wearer.

Abstract: A jacket for use by public service personnel such as policemen or the like is shorter than a usual jacket so it will not cover the wearer's hip area when worn. Straps are located on the bottom end of the jacket and will accommodate or support a utility belt adjacent to the wearer's hip area but beneath the jacket so the jacket does not cover the utility belt. The utility belt is thus easily accessed without moving the jacket.

Abstract: A male undergarment having a scrotum receiving cradle with an internal opening defined therein, in which the penis extends through resting in a penis enclosure. The outer penis enclosure connected to the crotch section of the tubular body portion, thereby forming a pocket with the front area of the tubular body portion. Said penis enclosure is canopied by fabric allowing the penis to be concealed no matter what state, additionally, allowing comfortable, access for left or right handed users.

Abstract: A male personal comfort sport and multipurpose underwear/undergarment that includes, as an integral part thereof, a specially configured penis and genital pouch secured to the interior of the undergarment that includes a frontal elastic opening for receiving and comfortably securing a male penis, and coincident slit-like opening on the opposite side of the pouch to allow the penis to be easily and comfortably removed through the front panel of the undergarment. The undergarment significantly reduces the possibility of crushing or otherwise injuring the penis and/or genitalia during any sudden movement of the wearer, such as vigorous exercise occurring during sports activities. The pouch also serves to isolate the genitalia from the thigh area, so that in humid conditions or conditions in which the wearer is perspiring due to physical activity, the penis and genitalia skin do not touch the wearer's thigh region.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an improved insulated beverage container holder formed from foam in the shape of a human hand holding a beverage container. The holder comprises a body having a perimeter wall generally in the shape of a hand and a wrist and the perimeter wall of the wrist defining an access opening formed and arranged to accept insertion of a human hand into a chamber defined by the perimeter wall of the hand. The holder further comprises a removable cavity insert adapted to be disposed in the receptacle. The cavity insert is for standard 12 ounce cans and bottles. When the cavity insert is removed from the receptacle, it is sized to receive larger type containers, such as 24 ounce stadium cups. A removable wrist band allows the holder to be produced in different colors and to display schools/teams symbols.

Patches of animal grooming or cleaning materials are permanently affixed by permanent water-proof adhesive to the front side of each individual finger and extending up the front of the finger stall to the finger tip and down the back side of the finger to the knuckle, thereby leaving the left and right sides of each finger clear of the cleaning or grooming material, allowing much better manipulation of the fingers by the user.

Abstract: A neck warmer is provided with a subset of indicia from a character's face to provide the appearance of a complete character face when worn by a child. The neck warmer appearance provides the advantage of encouraging children to wear outdoor protection garments such as the neck warmer by creating the appearance of a custom. Accordingly, the warmer of the invention provides a significant advantage in encouraging children, who are usually reluctant to wear such garments, to wear a neck warmer during cold weather.

Abstract: A stay comprising a first layer and a second layer with a plurality of wires disposed between them. The first layer and the second layer are connected or joined using stitching or any other suitable means. The plurality of wires are aligned substantially parallel to one another and engagedly secured between the first layer and the second layer such that the combination of the layers restrict the movement of the plurality of wires between them thereby forming a unitary stay. The unitary stay is embedded into any wearable item such as clothing and is sufficiently malleable to form the wearable item into various designs and then retain the wearable item in that design.

Abstract: This invention is directed to a protective headgear system which includes a relatively light weight, substantially rigid, headgear structure which may include an internal, adjustable headband. The system includes filter means which is attachable to the headgear structure to cover the structure. A fan mechanism is mounted on the headgear structure to draw air into the headgear structure through the filter means. A power supply selectively powers the fan. A facial shield is attachable to the headgear structure to cover the face of the wearer to maintain non-contaminating conditions relative to the wearer. A flexible cuff or hood is attachable to the facial shield to enclose the lower opening of the lens and provides protection for the wearer through which air can be exhausted.

The swimming goggles have reduced weight and sound flexibility because of the hollow-cutting portions, and fit to users' faces and noses suitably.

The sleeve and swivel ball are height adjustable with respect to the base by means of a support rod connected to the contact member and threaded into a nut contained inside the base. The support rod has an upper ball that fits within a socket under the contact member. The contact member may be in the shape of a swivel ball having a generally spherical side surface that contacts and holds the upper rim of the sleeve. During installation, the toilet support is positioned under the toilet, and the base is rotated while the sleeve, contact member and support rod are held against rotation, which causes the contact member to rise and contact the toilet bowl.

Abstract: An inflatable mat includes a compressible inner mat and an airtight shell. One or more heating elements are embedded within the compressible inner mat. Embedding the heating elements within the mat includes removing sections of the inner mat, splitting the sections into upper and lower pieces, inserting the heating elements between the pieces, replacing the section and heating elements to the inner mat, and bonding the airtight shell to the inner mat. Wires embedded in the inner mat conduct electricity from an external power source to the heating elements. The wires may extend primarily around the edges of the inner mat and penetrate into the inner portions of the mat proximate the heating elements. A thermostatic switch and a timer may be interposed between the heating elements and the external power source to control current passing through the heating elements.

The various embodiments include a flexible sheet of material having a width with a centerline, a length with a top edge and a bottom edge, and one or more pleats extending up from the bottom edge, each pleat having a length at least equal to the thickness of the mattress plus a few inches for tucking purposes. With such a construction, when the bed is made, the material puffs out around the foot section, thereby providing additional space for the legs and feet of a user. The preferred embodiment comprises a plurality of spaced-apart pleats, each extending up from the bottom edge and substantially perpendicular thereto. A pleat may be provided at or near the centerline, depending upon use in conjunction with single, twin, full, double, queen or king sizes.

An aperture in the pillow body dimensioned to accommodate the face of a user positioned on the pillow communicates with a cavity in the base which communicates with air and light adjacent to the base to provide the user fresh air and light when face down. The storage cavity is adapted to hold a personal music player or phone and the pillow engages to the base with a strap or ridge surrounding the perimeter of the pillow.

Abstract: A design and method of manufacture for a conforming air cell device to be used for seating, vibration and shock isolation, custom fitting and other applications. Interconnected air cells are formed from two thin sheets of highly resilient thermoformed plastic, so that once inflated, the air cells readily conform to the shape of the user while equalizing pressure from cell to cell. The manufacturing method simultaneously thermoforms both halves of the cell structure, followed immediately by joining these halves while still at the material's forming temperature. The result is a relatively complex matrix of air cells, interconnecting passages and one or more inflation features in a single manufacturing process, greatly simplifying the manufacturing process over previous methods. The design and method of manufacture result in an extremely lightweight, flexible and compactable system that quickly inflates and deflates, and can easily be taken and used anywhere it is needed.

A carriage (which might be called a trolley) is provided for selective movement along a conventional rail, from one end to the other. Alternatively, the carriage is held static, where it provides a stable “anchor” for a trapeze and the person who is pulling downward on the trapeze. Abstract: The present invention seeks to address the chronic and worsening problem of mattress management in hospitals by providing a mattress protector to shield a mattress or mattress core from body fluids, the protector not only comprising a shielding cover for the mattress or mattress core but also a detector in an inter- or under-layer of the cover to detect body fluid that has passed into or through the cover. The detector may be chemical, with the cover being a transparent cover and the under-layer being absorbent and having a dye that is activated by a body fluid to provide a visual indication of presence of the body fluid. In an alternative embodiment the detector may be an apparatus monitoring electrical conductivity. This suitably uses threads of electrically conductive yarn forming either the warp or weft of a thin flexible under layer of the protective cover and which are linked to a small processor which monitors the electrical conductivity between neighbouring conductive threads in the sensing layer.

Abstract: A sleep surface is formed by joining longitudinal sides of two juxtaposed air bladders, thereby providing a continuous sleep surface having two independently inflatable air chambers. The union of the two bladders ensures that the bladders remain in a desired position despite being repeated inflated, deflated, folded and unfolded. A support member can be inserted and secured between the two independently inflatable air bladders to provide an enhanced continuous sleep surface.

Abstract: An essential aim of the invention is a treatment which permits: (i) coating a textile material and/or threads, fibers and/or filaments making up the textile material, the silicone formulation cross-linking around the threads, fibers and/or filaments making up the textile material and forming a cross-linked silicone coating around the same and ii) durably imparting water-repellency and impermeability to said textile material without substantially affecting the intrinsic respirability of the textile material. Said aim is achieved by means of the present invention using at least one cross-linkable silicone formulation as a base for the textile coating material, particularly, of a textile material which may be used for the production of sports clothing.
