Abstract: A device and method are used for identifying a tablet cassette in an automatic tablet packing machine, which includes a plurality of tablet cassettes that contain medicine, and a plurality of cartridges, each of which is installed in a predetermined position in the automatic tablet packing machine and is adapted to receive the tablet cassette. The device includes a non-contact tag that is attached to a predetermined location of the tablet cassette and a position scan board. The non-contact tag contains medicine data and cassette data. The cartridge reads data from the non-contact tag in a non-contact way, combines the cassette data and the medicine data with a unique number for the cartridge and outputs the combined data as medicine position data. The position scan board retrieves the medicine position data from the cartridge, stores and updates the data, and outputs the data.

Abstract: Portable devices for mitigating the accumulation and localized settling of airborne particulates are provided. The devices establish airflow patterns which push or carry various airborne particulates outwardly away therefrom, thereby establishing a localized zone having relatively fewer airborne particulates. Correspondingly, each the devices establishes a localized zone, defined circumferentially about the perimeter of the device, in which there is relatively less surface accumulation of particulates which were previously airborne and settled out. The devices establish such airflow patterns by proving a fan which draws a volume of air axially through a top portion of the device, then pushes the volume of air axially down through the device where it is radially emitted from the bottom portion of the device, defining a circumferentially expanding plane of airflow.

Abstract: An exhaust emission control device is realized which causes no battery exhaustion nor deterioration in engine startability even when the forced regeneration using the electric heater is conducted in the engine stopping status. Disclosed is an exhaust emission control device in which adopted as a filter body 7 for capturing particulates is a heat-regenerative particulate filter 10 with electric heater, the captured particulates being burned by heating of the electric heater 9 to forcedly regenerate the particulate filter 10. A control unit 37 responsible for a series of control operations with respect to the forced regeneration of the particulate filter 10 is constructed such that the forced regeneration in an engine stopping status is conduced only when the voltage of the battery 34 is higher than a stipulated value, and is temporarily interrupted when engine starting operation is conducted during the forced regeneration in the engine stopping status.

Abstract: The invention concerns a structure (11) comprising a filtering member (21) comprising intake conduits (35) for the gases to be filtered, and conduits (37) for extracting the filtered gases, separated from the intake conduits (35) by porous filtering walls (43). The intake conduits (35) emerge into openings (49) for discharging respective residues, provided downstream of the respective intake openings (47). The openings discharging residues (49) of the intake conduits (35) open into a common manifold (25) for receiving solid filtering residues, forming counter-pressure means for the intake conduits (35). Said manifold (25) is isolated from the extracting conduits (37). The invention is applicable to particulate filters for exhaust gases of a motor vehicle diesel engine.

Abstract: To provide an exhaust pipe structure in which the length of the exhaust pipe can be elongated while the total dimension is restricted. Provided is an exhaust pipe structure which includes an upstream-side exhaust pipe connected to exhaust ports of an engine. An exhaust chamber is provided which has an exhaust-gas inlet and an exhaust-gas outlet, and in which the upstream-side exhaust pipe is connected to the exhaust-gas inlet. In addition, the exhaust pipe structure includes a downstream-side exhaust pipe which is connected to the exhaust-gas outlet and which extends in such a direction as to move away from the exhaust ports. In the exhaust pipe structure, the exhaust-gas inlet is formed at a position farther away from the exhaust ports than the exhaust-gas outlet is positioned.

Abstract: Disclosed is a lifting gear valve arrangement for controlling a double-action lifting gear or an add-on unit with a continuously adjustable directional control valve and with an individual pressure compensator via which a pressure medium volume flow to and from a lifting cylinder of the lifting gear can be controlled. A proportionally adjustable pressure limiting valve is provided in the pressure medium flow path between an outlet connection of the directional control valve and a working connection of the lifting gear valve arrangement, via which the pressure inside this area can be limited to a maximum value. The adjustment of the pressure limiting valve is preferably performed as a function of the operating states of the lifting gear or of the type of add-on unit.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic module for hydrostatic mechanical gearboxes having two swashplates or oblique axis drive units which are integrated in the hydraulic module. The swashplate drive units are mounted in a common housing with parallel drive shafts and each have a rotating cylinder block with expellers which can move therein and which are supported in a sliding fashion on a double swashplate whose pivot angle is adjustable by means of a servo system. The double swashplate is designed to carry out positively coupled common adjustment of the volume flow of the two drive units and is equipped with bearing faces for the expellers of the respective drive units, said bearing faces having different angles of inclination relative to the respective drive shaft. The oblique axis drive units each have a cylinder block with expellers which can move therein and which are each pivotably mounted on the coaxial shafts.

When the piston is made to reciprocate inside a cylinder by a linear motor, the displacer reciprocates inside a cylinder with a predetermined phase difference relative to the piston. In parts of the displacer and the cylinder that receives the displacer, the parts facing a compression space are made of metal, and the parts facing an expansion space are made of a low-thermal-conductivity material. In the metal part, the fitting accuracy is defined.

Abstract: An exhaust heat energy recovery apparatus for an internal combustion engine that efficiently recovers exhaust heat energy without increasing engine exhaust back pressure, and a Brayton cycle apparatus applicable to the exhaust heat energy recovery apparatus. A Brayton cycle apparatus 1 using a scroll compressor 4 and a scroll expander 6 has a simplified and downsized structure. A working fluid is compressed inside a scroll compressor 4 and expanded inside a scroll expander 6 in spaces partitioned and sealed by combinations of fixed scrolls and orbital scrolls. The conversion efficiency from heat energy to kinetic energy is high. Heat is transferred from the exhaust to the working fluid through a pipe wall of a flow passage 30a and an expander case 12 of the scroll expander 6. This further downsizes the Brayton cycle apparatus 1. The back pressure of the energy source including the exhaust is unaffected.
