Abstract: The present invention is a composite transmission selector lever that avoids the multiple manufacturing steps of current levers and in addition gives a significant reduction in cost. The lever comprises an open-sided, elongated stamped, sheet steel element having a triangular cross section shape with the open end of the triangle curved inwardly. The triangular shape is to provide the maximum bending strength to the resultant structure. One end of the mechanism is crimped and/or welded to fasten over the circular section of a base and the other end is formed to extend to an operator handle. A wire for a switch in the handle is laid through the open side of the element and the composite assembly is overmolded with a high strength thermoplastic material, such as polyamide 6, having a surface finish suitable for an as-molded condition.

Abstract: A self-adjusting parking brake actuator includes a brake lever that is movable between brake-released and brake-applied positions. A self-adjustment assembly connects to the lever and includes a rack, a pinion, and a clutch. The toothed rack mounts to the lever for movement relative to the lever along a longitudinal direction of the rack. The rack connects to a brake cable and is resiliently biased in a tensioning direction. The rotatable pinion continuously meshes with the toothed rack. The clutch engages to prevent the pinion from rotating when the brake lever is in its brake-applied position, and disengages to allow the spring-biased rack to take up slack in the brake cable when the lever is in its brake-released position.

The reduction in radius of gyration minimizes the magnitude of the centrifugal force components produced in the direction opposing the desired direction of propulsion. TiCl4 which is of a Ti raw material is introduced into the reactor cell 1 while Na is introduced into the reactor cell 1. The generated Ti particles are introduced to a separation cell 2 along with the molten salt, and the Ti particles and Na are separated from the molten salt. The residual molten salt is introduced to an electrolytic cell 3 to generate Na by high-temperature electrolysis at the temperature more than 600° C. The generated Na is returned to the reactor cell 1 to replenish Na consumed in the reactor cell 1. Abstract: An adjust bench for saw machine, comprising: A saw machine has a wheel in the up side and a wheel in the down side. A band saw puts around those two wheels. A motor mounts inside the saw machine for driving the wheels. A bench has a through-hole for passing through the band saw. There are two adjust devices on the button side of the bench for adjusting the angle of inclination. The bench has an observing window thereon and beside the through-hole. An arc gear row that sets beside the arc guider bends upward and extends from the saw machine. A scale wheel pivots at the button side of the bench and beside the arc portion. There are scales around the surface of the scale wheel. The user can observe the scale from the observing window. There is a gear wheel beside the scale wheel and gears with the arc gear row.

Abstract: A peg for a stringed instrument has a knob made of metal which has an internal hollow portion. The knob is light in weight and has a reduced wall thickness because the hollow portion is formed therein. Therefore, the responses of vibrations of strings during performances are fast, and tone and afterglow of sounds are good. A high-quality appearance is provided by the metal knob. A smaller sprue may be used because a smaller amount of melted metal is required when the knob is cast, and the mark of the sprue formed on a surface of a molded knob is therefore be smaller when the melted metal is injected through the sprue. Formation of blowholes caused by gas contained in the knob molded by casting can be reduced because the wall of the knob is thin.

Abstract: The tremolo-limiting product ensures reliable and repeatable returns to the initial tuned position after tension-changing events. Some embodiments of the product can preserve string tuning while still providing limited tremolo use for musical effects. The product maintains tuning by obstructing the tremolo from pivoting past the initial tuned position when string tension is changed by string breakage and other events. The product can precisely and repeatably obstruct the tremolo at the initial tuned position so that string tuning is reliably preserved.

Abstract: A keyboard apparatus constructed to be capable of reducing the depth size thereof and permitting a key unit to be mounted to a key frame with a simple operation. Hinges are extended downward from rear ends of black key main bodies of a black key unit in the vertical direction, and are connected at their lower ends to a common-to-black-keys base end. The black key main bodies are pivotable via the hinges relative to the common-to-black-keys base end in the key depression/release direction. Similarly, white key main bodies of first and second white key units are pivotable via hinges relative to a common base end in the vertical direction. The key frame is formed at its rear portion with a recessed groove over the entire width of all keys and formed with elastic members extending in the front-to-rear direction on the front and rear sides of the recessed groove. Using elastic deformations of the elastic members, a common-to-all-keys base end of the key unit is fitted and fixed to the recessed groove.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method and apparatus for notating music for a stringed instrument. A weighted tablature includes a staff having multiple horizontal lines. Each line represents a string of a musical instrument and at least some of the lines are of varying thicknesses. The relative thickness of a line corresponds to the relative thickness of the string represented by the line. In another aspect, a weighted chord diagram includes multiple vertical lines and multiple horizontal lines intersecting to form a grid. Each vertical line represents a string of a musical instrument and at least some of the lines are of varying thicknesses, the relative thickness of a line corresponding to a relative thickness of the string represented by the line. At least some of the horizontal lines represent a fret. A marking placed on the tablature or grid indicates a string to be played at a specified fret.
