Abstract: A drain provides significant advantages over the prior art. A drain fabricated without seams can be easily cleaned and does not provide sites for bacterial growth. The cone and outlet sections of the drain are formed using a spinning process to eliminate the need for welds. The cone section includes a vertical interface lip, such that the outside of the cone section is welded to the rim, eliminating a weld on the interior of the cone. The weld between the rim and the cone section can be polished to eliminate imperfections on the top of the drain. The contour of the cone section also facilitates drainage, and hence reduces bacterial growth, by maintaining a downward slope on a smooth surface. For an embodiment with a membrane flange, dual walls are used such that the membrane flange can be welded to the outer wall of the drain, preventing the welding process from damaging the smoothness of the interior drain wall.

Abstract: A brush bristle material has at least one kind of diamond abrasive grains or abrading grains contained in a mixed state in a synthetic resin material formed of single threads. The synthetic resin material, while being formed into a linear material from chips, is caused to contain in a mixed state the abrasive grains and eventually manufactured into one brush. A plurality of at least one kind of brush bristles are bundled and consequently finished as a brush bristle material. The covering containing in a mixed state the abrasive grains encloses the bundle from the part excluding the part fixed by the tubular body through the distal end part. Though the brush bristle material has been at a disadvantage in revealing weak nerve due to a large bristle height, the covering has succeeded in canceling the disadvantage. This invention concerns a brush bristle material and a brush for a tubular brush or a segment brush having a large brush bristle height.

The synthetic resin material and the metallic material mentioned above are made of nearly plate bar members and are integrated in the form of a plate or a bar or in any proper form by being mutually combined like a sandwich. The brush bristle material integrated by mutual combination of the component materials is enabled to combine the characteristic properties of the synthetic resin material and the metallic material and acquire proper hardness, elastic force and frictional force suited to a given workpiece, the shape of the workpiece and the purpose of use of the workpiece.

Abstract: There is provided a duster which is suitable for cleaning. To prevent a brush wound around a rod from slipping in the direction of the length and the direction of the axial rotation of the rod, the duster comprises: a number of sharp protrusions formed on a portion of the rod around which the brush is wound, so that a stitched portion of the brush is stuck to the sharp protrusions to semi-permanently prevent the slip of the brush, thereby maintaining the product to be like a first assembled state thereof, preventing the function of the duster from being deteriorated, and preventing the surface of an object to be cleaned from being scratched by the rod which is partially exposed. In addition, since the slip of the brush is prevented by using no adhesive agent, the product is easily assembled and the cost is greatly reduced accordingly.

Abstract: A wheel assembly has a support unit, a rotating unit and an arresting unit. The support unit includes a sleeve, a stop hole and a recess. Brackets respectively extend from opposing sides of the sleeve. A rotating shaft pivots the wheel between the brackets. The rotating unit includes a base. An axis portion extends from a surface of the base for movably engaging with the sleeve. A tooth-like surface is formed on a side of the axis portion. The arresting unit includes a limiting portion movably pivoted between the brackets and in the vicinity of the wheel. A pressing plate pivots to an end of the limiting portion movably. A link portion movably links the limiting portion and the pressing plate and forms an abutting portion. The limiting portion forms a stop portion thereon. The arresting unit limits movement and rotation directions of the support unit and the wheel simultaneously.

Abstract: The present invention related generally to a device for adding moisture to fibrous material such as cotton. The conditioning device receives a continuous cotton batt from a battery condenser. The continuous cotton batt is fed between two opposing drums. Hot moist air is fed into one drum and drawn out of the perforated surface of the drum, through the batt as it is being compressed between the two drums, and into the other drum. The opposing drums are internally compartmented by a plurality of longitudinal staves, each compartment being covered by a corresponding segment of the perforated surface. Hot dry air is fed into the compartments of the drums when the corresponding segment of the surface is not carrying the cotton batt in order to dry the surface of the drum and clear the perforations of any lint that might have been retained on the surface.
