There is provided a garment for water-related activities, said garment including a body shaped to fit a wearer and a pump mounted to the body for operation out of water and underwater to remove the air and water trapped between the body and the wearer and to generate a vacuum between the body and the wearer. Generating a vacuum between the body and the wearer provides a close fit to the wearer, whereby said close fit enhances the wearer's tactile sensitivity through the body.

Abstract: A swimming training apparatus automatically adjusts a user's position at the water surface of a swimming pool according to the user's swimming conditions by a resilient component installed in a position adjusting device. The swimming training apparatus includes an arc support structure, a position adjusting device and a connecting element. When the user swims away from the swimming training apparatus, the pulling force produced by the swimming winds the drive gear to store resilience to the resilient component. The gear set drives two rollers to move the position adjusting device towards a pool side. When the user stops swimming, the resilient component releases the resilience so that the drive gear shortens the connecting element and moves the position adjusting device towards the original position. The invention enables users to swim at different distances within a safe range or flow safely on the water surface of the swimming pool.

Abstract: This new versatile invention of pool cover dome support system keeps the bugs, dirt, rain water, snow and leaves, out of the above ground pools or in-ground pools cover during winter. The system consists of a central distribution hub assembly, edge of pool clamps assembly and versatile telescoping poles. The central distribution hub assembly can be elevated above the rim of the pool to any desired height. The pool cover is disposed over the dome structure and secured around the pool whereby objects and substances will not accumulate on the pool cover. The system can also be adapted and used as structure to provide a temporary shelter for many other applications. The objective is to provide one universal substantially rigid lightweight structure at a low cost with minimum parts that can be assembled as a dome regardless of pools size or shape.

The optical water sensor preferably includes a light source, a transmitting medium for transmitting light from the light source, and a light detector for detecting the light as transmitted through the transmitting medium whereby the transmission or internal reflection characteristics of the transmitting medium are affected by the contact of water to an external surface of the transmitting medium. A spa bath including the aforesaid heater is also described.

After the, pillowcase is dried, the oblong fabric sack of lavender can be re-attached to the inside of the pillowcase. Refills of the fabric sack are available. Lightly doped drain (LDD) implants are provided in source/drain regions of the high voltage transistor in the substrate. An annealing operation is performed on the integrated circuit, wherein the annealing causes each of the LDD implants to form a graded junction in relation to a channel in the substrate between the LDD regions, and further causes sidewalls to oxidize on the gates of the flash memory cell and on the gate of the high voltage transistor.

Abstract: A positive lock for an ambulance cot and method thereof which requires lifting an upper frame of the ambulance cot, in order to permit a spring actuator to clear an interference fit of the positive lock, are provided. If the upper frame is not lifted, then the spring force used to pull on the positive lock is insufficient to overcome the interference fit. Clearing the interference fit permits the cot to be height adjusted. Optionally, a light indicator may be provided which illuminates if the cot has not been positively locked in a height adjusted position.
