The base is adapted to serve as a pedestal for a candle and to hold the candle above the air inlet holes. The base also allows air for the candle to enter the plenum from the air inlet holes and reach a flame of the candle. The reservoir has an interior in communication with air exterior to the casing for holding a volatile scented liquid, and the invention allows hot gases produced by the candle to escape from the plenum into air exterior to the plenum around and/or through the reservoir, volatilizing the scented liquid in the reservoir.

Other embodiments may be modified for traps, anti-theft, alarm systems.

Abstract: The invention of LENGTH SCALE MARKED FISHING ROD will be capable of being used as a standard fishing pole while also being used for measuring the length of fish subsequent to the catching. The invention would be designed very similarly to a standard fishing rod with the addition of corresponding units of length measurement markings on the rod. LENGTH SCALE MARKED FISHING ROD would be created in many different versions: engravings, drawings, or printed marks of length measurement on various types of fishing rods, which exist for different types of fishing. The measurement marks of LENGTH SCALE MARKED FISHING ROD would simply be used as other measurement devices such as rulers and tape measures are used to measure objects. The units of measurement used for LENGTH SCALE MARKED FISHING ROD could include inches and feet as well as metric length units of measurement.

Abstract: An environmental protection synthetic low sulphur fuel oil that uses a proportional mixture of vegetable oil and a catalyzing enzyme (decane, 11 alkane, 12 alkane) as a substitute for high polluting high grade diesel oils to achieve required flash point and reduce sulphur content, and which can be used as a green environmental protection additive agent to high grade diesel oil, thereby achieving the objective of providing a method that effects environment protection.

Abstract: A fuel composition comprises farnesane and/or farnesane derivatives and a conventional fuel component selected from diesel fuel, jet fuel, kerosene or gasoline. The farnesane or farnesane derivative can be used as a fuel component or as a fuel additive in the fuel composition. The fuel composition may further comprise a conventional fuel additive. Methods of making and using the fuel composition are also disclosed.

Abstract: A synthetic firelog is made from substantially 100% leaves mixed with a binder. Preferably, the synthetic firelog is comprised of a base material that is substantially 100% tree leaves. The leaves may be from any of a variety of trees, including, but not limited to, oak, maple, poplar, or birch trees, or mixtures thereof. Most preferably, the leaves consist primarily of oak tree leaves. However, it will be appreciated that numerous varieties of tree leaves, and mixtures thereof, may be used. The binder is a wax material, preferably paraffin wax. A method for making the synthetic firelog is disclosed.

A variety of enriched seaweeds compositions are developed including nitrogen enriched, protein-enriched, carbohydrate-enriched, mineral-enriched, metal-enriched or low in soduim, by using customized nutrient solutions in different stages of the growth of the seaweeds.

The vegetable parchment may be placed in contact with soil and adjacent a plant or seedling to be cultivated. The parchment has a tensile strength of between about 15 to about 120 lbf/inch, a dry burst strength of between about 10 to about 90 lbs/sq. inch, and a wet burst strength of between about 4 to 60 lbs/sq. inch, which provides the necessary barrier to prevent growth of weeds through the parchment, while the porosity of the parchment allows both air and water to penetrate for proper growth of plants.

The soil container may be is embedded into the apparatus, or comprise means for holding the flowerpot above the apparatus or on the apparatus, such as grill. According to one embodiment of the invention, the conveying mechanism conveys the drainage container linearly.

Abstract: A sectional wood overhead garage doors to withstand very high wind loads such as those created by hurricane force winds typically greater than 90 mph and which can be greater than 140 mph. The door meets design pressures of ?65 psf and +48 psf. The door includes panel sections hingedly connected, each panel section having a frame assembly composed of upper and lower rails and, at least, a pair of end stiles, which form a substantially rectangular border. The frame assembly is fixedly attached to front and back surface protection members, which increase the resistance to wind-induced forces and the impact of objects. The front surface protection member may include a decorative protection assembly that provides an aesthetically pleasing, decorative surface. The decorative protection assembly can be constructed to resemble a flat panel door, a raised panel door, a turn-of-the-century carriage door, and the like.

Abstract: A telescopic seating system generally includes an innermost lower riser assembly and successive outer elevated riser assemblies. Each elevated riser assembly includes a dual deck surface and a telescopic leg assembly. Each elevated riser assembly supports a toothed belt drive system which provides the interface between each adjacent elevated riser assembly and the motive force to extend and retract the riser system. In operation, electric motors of the toothed belt drive system on each elevated riser assembly are driven by a controller to extend and retract the telescopic seating system between a fully extended position, a half-deployed position and a storage position. The half-deployed position utilizes the dual deck surface to provide half the seating capacity of each riser at twice the rise between each seating row to thereby accommodate particular venues.

The invention further provides a method for securing the composition of a structure against the onslaught of heavy winds, whereby zones, which are suitable for the formation of a critical carrier wing effect during heavy wind flow are identified on the structure, and the position of a wind flow body for generating turbulence for dampening the carrier wing effect, is then determined. Further zones are identified which are suitable for the formation of the dynamic pressure, and the operating position of a wind flow body is then determined for deflecting the corresponding wind flow for reducing the dynamic pressure.

Migrating ground water intercepts the rods, enters the slots and drains down the rods to enhance water percolation into the soil.

The roofing layer may also have a photovoltaic array panel. The roofing panel may also have a plurality of truss braces, each truss brace being affixed to a lower surface of the deck.
