Abstract: The present invention relates to a releasing device and more particularly a releasing device used to release fish in water. Deep-water fishes such as rockfish often exhibit the effects of rapid water pressure change such as expelled gas bladder, protruded eyes when brought to the surface. The fish releasing device of the present utilizes a jaw assembly, a weight, and other components to clamp onto a fish. The device is dropped into the water which pulls the fish beneath the surface of the water and automatically releases the fish upon the opening of the clamping jaw.

  • Publication number: 20080110078
Abstract: The invention is a storage system for fishing lures and fishing tools that can be mounted to a vehicle such as a boat, prevents the lures and tools from becoming entangled or unintentionally dislodged, and yet provides easy and immediate accessibility for the user. A key feature of the present invention is the means for securing the fishing lures. Individual lures are isolated from each other and from dislodgement during the rough motion of a fishing boat at speed. Special tortuous slots retain the tackle hooks until deliberate removal by an angler for use. Another key feature of the present invention is the means for securing commonly used fishing tools, such as pliers, wire cutters, or hook disgorgers, against dislodgement. The tools are held in place by rubber grommets. This means resists tool dislodgement during the rough motion of a fishing boat at speed, yet it also provides easy access to the angler.

The ship containing LNG then connects to a gasification device, which may be located on the ship, the platform, or on another ship (e.g., a barge). This gasification device, in turn, connects to the pipeline and supplies the pipeline with natural gas. The environment may also aid in increasing focus of the user on the exercise task, removing distractions that might otherwise divert the attention of the user. The user-friendly environment may also aid the exercise system in following movement of the user within the physical space. For example, the environment surrounding the physical space may provide less interference than prior environments to infrared sensor systems.

Abstract: A grid device for horizontally disposing reinforcement rods in a poured-in-place wall mold cavity formed on a building site and defined by opposed molding surfaces of opposed vertically disposed wall molding panels. The grid device comprises a plurality of elongate elements and a plurality of tie members fixedly connected substantially perpendicular to and laterally spaced with respect to each other along the elongate elements for freely positioning the reinforcement rods within the mold cavity at a preselected horizontal location between the opposed molding surfaces and at preselected vertical locations spaced along the molding surfaces. The grid device is sufficiently rigid to project outwardly from a vertically disposed molding surface and to horizontally suspend the reinforcement rods when the grid device is attached to the vertically disposed molding surface.

Abstract: In a roof system, a top coat of lightweight insulating concrete is anchored to an underlying base slurry coat of lightweight concrete and a metal, gypsum, tectum or concrete roof deck by installing anchoring devices at spaced intervals. The anchoring devices may be made of plastic, steel or aluminum and include a threaded shank extending upwardly from a base plate. The anchoring devices are installed by fastening the base plates to the underlying roof deck structure or by setting the base plates in the lightweight base concrete slurry coat so that the threaded shanks of the anchoring devices extend upwardly through holes in EPS board insulation and into the subsequently applied top coat of lightweight insulating concrete. The base plate and threaded shank effectively anchor the attachment of the lightweight insulating concrete top coat to the underlying base slurry coat and roof deck to enhance resistance to wind uplift forces.

Abstract: A system and method for forming flush joints and improving the shear strength in wallboard panels are provided. The system includes using a clamping mechanism to apply simultaneous opposing pressure against the butt joint area so as to cause the edges of adjacent wallboard panels to align level with the plane of the drywall panels. In certain implementations, the system utilizes an elongated tie strap to interconnect a back support disposed on the back side of the drywall panels with a tensioning device which is disposed on the front side of the panels. Adhesive prepackaged in packets can be used to attach the back support to the drywall.

Abstract: A joist end cap overcoming the shortcomings of prior joist end caps is disclosed. A joist end cap having five walls, namely a top wall, bottom wall, pair of side walls and end wall, define a cavity for receipt of an end of a piece of lumber. The bottom wall is slanted to allow moisture to exit from the cavity. The top and bottom wall may be interchangeable, such that the top and bottom wall are both slanted and users may use the end cap in either orientation. Elongated ribs and projections along inner surfaces of the walls provide for air flow and run off of any undesired moisture. A unique connector guide and circular ring configuration ensure that connectors (e.g., nails, screws or rivets) used to connect the joist end cap to the lumber do not damage the joist end cap and/or create ingresses for moisture to enter the cavity.

Abstract: The invention concerns a novel roof system comprising a plurality of roof insulation panels (4) moulded from foamed polystyrene or the like material, the panels being mounted on a roof structure, which may comprise conventional purlins and rafters with roof battens or a closed roof decking of timber or the like material. In either case, the panels are supported by the roof structure and in turn provide location and support for a plurality of roof tiles (6, 6a). In order to enhance the location and support of the roof tiles on the panels, the panels are provided with upstanding walls having re-entrant angled surfaces (32) for engagement by hook-like protuberances (60a, 60b, 61a, 61b) provided towards lower ends, in use, of the roof tiles. The roof tiles may be made from cementitious compositions, ceramic compositions or reconstituted slate materials. The roof system may also include reinforcement for the panels, which may be provided with for mutual interlocking engagement with sideways adjacent panels in use.
