Abstract: A shoe sole includes a sole bottom portion and an enclosure integrally formed on a periphery of the sole bottom portion. The sole bottom portion forms a hard zone that is made of a carbon fiber composite material mixed with a thermosetting epoxy. The enclosure forms a soft zone that is made of a carbon fiber composite material mixed with a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Thus, the shoe sole has a reinforced strength by provision of the enclosure so that the shoe sole is bonded onto the vamp solidly and stably, thereby enhancing the combination strength between the shoe sole and the vamp. In addition, the shoe sole has a light weight and greater hardness by provision of the sole bottom portion, thereby decreasing the weight of the whole shoe.

Abstract: A device for connecting a wear part to a support thereof on materials handling equipment for public works machines, comprises a key placed in an axial alignment with regard to an elastically deformable sleeve placed in part of an adapter. The key has a key foot and a key head on either side and opposite ends of a body. The key head is arranged with a part forming an off-centered seat. The key foot comprises an anchoring element for temporarily penetrating into the elastically deformable sleeve. Rotation of the key causes its misalignment with regard to its initial axis and the tight securing of the key, either in the sleeve by anchoring, or against metal parts of the tooth and of the adapter on differentiated support zones.

Abstract: A firearm magazine loader (30) comprises a body (32) coupled to a movable press (40), a plunger (20) extending out of the press towards the body, and a magazine aligner (52). The body is hollow and adapted to fit and slide over an open side of a magazine (10). A spring (48) is positioned between the body and the press to force them apart. To load the magazine, the user squeezes the press towards the body such that plunger is over a topmost round (12) in the magazine, and then presses down the loader, causing the plunger to force the topmost round further into the magazine to form a vacant space below lips (14) of the magazine. This enables a new round (13) to be rearwardly, case first, loaded inside the vacant space. The user then eases the down force on the loader allowing the spring (16) of the magazine to force up all the rounds in the magazine towards the lips while releasing the press for allowing the spring of the press to force the press and plunger back to their original position.

Abstract: A system and method for coordinating movement of a powered sliding door module and an access ramp for a vehicle. A system control board communicates with a current detector that can detect current on the power wires for the sliding door's motor. The current detector signals the system control board when it detects current and the system control board determines whether the ramp is stowed or deployed. If the ramp is deployed, the system control board stops and reverses the door so that the door remains open. The system control board then stows the ramp and closes the door. If the ramp is stowed, the system control board waits for the current in the door motor to return to zero and then determines if the door is completely open. If the door is not completely open the system control board does nothing. If the door is completely open, the system control board deploys the ramp.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to structural columns used in both residential and commercial construction. The disclosure describes a fabricated cap for columns and column capitals that provides flashing protection to the column from deterioration through exposure to the elements, lateral support to the column at its upper end and proper alignment of the column's decorative capital. The disclosure is of novel design such that interfitting keys are provided which prevent the encroachment of external elements—rain, debris, insects, etc.—into the top of the interior shaft of the hollow column, thereby protecting against decay of the axial support strength of the column, which provide significant support to the column to resist lateral forces that may be applied to and cause the displacement of the upper end of the column from its desired position and which provide a means for aligning the column's decorative capital relative to the supported structure.
