With multiple band gaps that fall within the solar energy spectrum, Zn1-yMnyOxTe1-x is a material perfectly satisfying the conditions for single-junction photovoltaics with the potential for power conversion efficiencies surpassing 50%.

    Abstract: A woven construction belt is fabricated by a method to manufacture said belt and, said belt has a surface, at least one warp, at least two wefts, at least two locking wefts and a binding layer. The method has a preparing step, a weaving step, a dipping step and a fixing step. In The preparing step, warp fibers, at least two wefts and at least two locking wefts are made from tempered fibers. In the weaving step, the wefts are first woven transversely through the warp fibers, the locking wefts are subsequently woven through the warp fibers and the wefts to form a woven belt. In the dipping step, the woven belt is dipped into a macerate tank to apply binding material to the woven belt. In the fixing step, the binding material on the woven belt is cured to form a binding layer and complete the woven construction belt.

    Abstract: Petrol Pump Safety Nozzle is a device for petroleum fuel pumps consisting of a retractable sleeve attached to a nozzle. The sleeve moves upward when it engages the perimeter of a petroleum gasoline receptacle. The sleeve is connected to a trigger release to allow the trigger to move and dispense gasoline. To use the preferred embodiment of Petrol Pump Safety Nozzle, a user inserts the device into a petroleum gasoline receptacle opening causing the retractable sleeve to expose the nozzle and to actuate the sliding trigger release to permit the trigger to dispense gasoline. When this device is placed inside a standard diesel fuel receptacle opening, the width of the opening will prevent engagement with the retractable sleeve and fuel cannot be pumped.

    Abstract: A funnel system and method for introducing and dispensing a material are presented. In this funnel system two frusto-conical devices having intake ports which have a larger diameter than the diameter of their exit ports may be mated. When mated, a passage exists through the devices' exit ports. Both frusto-conical devices may have partially eclipsed exit ports such that when one device rotates with respect to the other, the passage throttles between a substantially open and a substantially closed position. In this method the devices may be rotated such that the passage may be in the substantially closed position and a material may then be introduced into the second device's intake port. To dispense the material, the devices may be rotated such that the passage may be in a substantially open position whereupon the material may be dispensed from the first device's exit port.
