Abstract: Method and apparatus for long line fishing and for recreational bait fishing that allows a fish to take a bait without having the hook simultaneously enter the fish's mouth. A fish is hooked by taking a hook-less bait and subsequent to the force exerted by the angler's line pull or the force generated by the fish swimming against a tight line, causes the hook to be drawn from outside the mouth and into the jaw area. The direction of hook set is opposite of conventional fishing given the hook is pulled towards the mouth and not from within the mouth cavity. The method and apparatus for attaching a bait to a line and not to a hook are equally applicable to the commercial long line fishery and the recreational fishery. The method promotes the reduction in bycatch and Bycatch mortality.

Abstract: A fishing lure that generates a splashing effect when deployed in a body of water and attached to a kite fishing assembly. This splashing effect attracts target fish in the same manner that live bait does. Different optional features can be included in the kite fishing lure. One option is to include a chemical concavity configured to store a chemical substance that is dispersed into the body of water in concentrations designed to attract proximate located fish. Another option is to include a movement simulator designed to simulate movement of a struggling bait fish. Yet another option is to include a replaceable skin sheaf designed to be periodically replaced after being worn from repetitive usage.

Abstract: Soft or pliable spinning appendages can be attached to any fishing lure, hard or soft, using a swivel mechanism that provides unrestricted 360° rotation. The appendages increase attractiveness, flash, vibration, color, or scent. Due to their slow spinning speed and neutral buoyancy in water, the appendages provide unique properties to slow-moving lures not possible with prior art hard blades. A weedless swivel mechanism is also provided.

Abstract: Disclosed is both an apparatus and system for screeding a three dimensional panel including a screed clip for securing a guide bar to the panel for screeding a cementitious coating to a substantially uniform finish and level. The clips are used in combination and in series to support a guide bar. The clips are attached to the wire grid mats of a three dimensional panel to enable a less than skilled laborer to finish a cementitious coating applied to the panel.

Abstract: The invention of the present application provides a system of brick and rod for the construction of inclined walls, with great rigidity and lateral resistance, and great resistance to extreme uniform, cyclic, and gravitational forces. The brick of this system is a block with horizontal and vertical protuberances and cavities which permits horizontal and vertical interlocks with the adjacent bricks of the wall. The brick is also perforated by holes that are aligned with the holes of the vertically adjacent bricks of the wall, thus forming continuous holes which go throughout the entire height of the wall. The rods of the system cross the bricks through the continuous holes of the wall. This system allows the construction of an inclined wall made of bricks reinforced with a skeleton of rods. The resulting wall is suitable for retaining walls.

Abstract: The invention relates to a connecting element (24) for a floor covering (20) consisting of a first part element (26) and a second part element (28), each having connecting openings (34) by which means they can be connected to one another by a connecting means (36). In the assembled state these form a connecting channel (38) in which a connector (40) can be disposed, which connector also has a connecting opening (34) for the connecting means (36), wherein the connector (40) projects laterally from the connecting element (24) in such a manner that it can be inserted into a connecting channel (38) of a neighbouring connecting element (24) and a connecting means (36) can likewise extend there through a second connecting opening (34) so that two connecting means (36) located adjacent to one another can be connected to one another by the connector (40), wherein the connecting means (36) has dimensions such that it does not protrude over a useful area (21) of the floor covering (20) (FIG. 5).

Abstract: Longitudinal beams span between torque boxes located at each end. The beams attach to the torque boxes to prevent vertical movement or rotation about their horizontal axis, or a fixed end condition. The longitudinal beams cover the width of a platform used to support pallets, and the ends may have wheels for transport of the pallets. The torque box attaches to a moment beam to prevent rotation between the two members about the lateral axis. The torque box has a high strength to transmit all of the moment generated by the end condition through it and into the moment beam. This fixed end condition has the advantages of light weight, low deflection, and low beam depth.

The three basic components of the edge beam are positioned so as to provide access for press joining tools. A building module manufacturing method utilizes the light gauge steel rolled shapes that permit industrialized, automated manufacture of floor, roof and wall panels for modular housing and commercial structures with integrated mechanical and electrical systems and rigid framing for road transport without trailers. Abstract: The invention relates to a grating consisting of parallel bearing bars connected by cross bars running perpendicular to the bearing bars, and of a frame, sheet-metal strips being located between the bearing bars. In order to improve a grating of this kind in such manner that it is easier to manufacture, it is suggested within the scope of the invention that a wire be inserted under each of the cross bars and the sheet-metal strip clamped between the wires and the cross bars.

The vessel is prefabricated off site in three modules (11A, 11B, 11C) which are then transported to the installation site where they are hoisted by a crane and deposited sequentially on top of one another and joined together by welding to form a unitary vessel.
