Abstract: A mountable scrubber comprised of a rectangular base (not to exclude other shapes) with scrubbing element attached to the surface to be applied to the skin and suction cups on the opposite side for attaching to a fixed surface as desired. Subsequent units will have a rear mounted hand strap allowing easier hand operation while still maintaining it's mountable qualities. The scrubbing surface is of synthetic mesh material, which can be varied in texture (soft or firm) and size (the actual opening in the mesh) to increase and/or decrease the amount of exfoliation produced. This scrubber has particular utility not only in scrubbing and massaging but also in exfoliating and stimulating the dermis layer of the body, in particular the back area. This is made possible because of the abrasive nature of the scrubbing surface and the ability to apply as much pressure as necessary due to it's wall mounting capability.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for finding part position relations of parts of mechanical and opto-mechanical machining and quality control systems, and for recognizing these parts, is disclosed. The present invention relies on optical contactless sensing technology, with recording of optical fiducial patterns and therefrom determining positions close to the work positions without physical contact. Part positions of machines are determined by associating or mechanically integrating fiducial patterns (1) with key parts, and optically detecting the images of these patterns. Part positions and displacements according to given part position finder (6) strategies are found, by associating fiducial pattern images (14) and machine position data (17) to parts that are members of a part geometry relation (15), and under part displacement constraints (16), finding given part positions or displacements (18).

Abstract: A method for building a device having fluidic and electrical functions, comprising: mounting a building part with fluidic and electrical functions on a substrate that is provided with a fluidic circuit; fluidically connecting the building part with the substrate; electrically connecting the building part with the substrate; and mechanically connecting the building part with the substrate, wherein use is made of flip-chip technology; and a seal is made by means of a gasket. With such a method a hybrid microfluidic system can be built in which materials and processes for realizing the various connections (fluidic and mechanical and electrical) can be selected in principle independently of each other so the individual processes can be optimized independently of each other in a large measure. With the application of flip-chip technology, great accuracy in the positioning of the building parts can be achieved. The electrical connection is made by means of a current material and a well-developed process.
