The tempo may be adjusted while not affecting the pitch allowing a musician to practice a song at a slower pace. It may also highlight or remove a specific instrument for practice purposes. The result is a portable signal processing device [1000] which aids music transcription, learning and study.

Abstract: Systems and methods of evolving music tracks are disclosed. One example method providing a plurality of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). Each of the ANNs uses a time signature input. The method also includes producing a rhythm from each of the plurality of ANNs. The method also includes evolving a next generation of ANNs based upon a user selection of one of the plurality of rhythms and upon the previous generation of ANNs. An example system includes a plurality of Compositional Pattern Producing Networks (CPPNs). Each of the CPPNs uses a time signature input to produce a rhythm. The system also includes logic configured to receive a selection of one or more of the CPPN, and logic configured to generate at least one evolved CPPN based upon the selection.

A visible light wavelength laser which produces a visible light wavelength laser beam which is reflected from the prism to the human eye or optical device to disable the human eye or optical device to prevent use of the weapon.

Abstract: The improved perforation gun of the present invention includes an outer gun barrel, which is used in conjunction with an inner movable charge carrier or an inner movable sleeve to trap virtually all of the debris created by the firing of the perforation gun. This elimination of debris reduces costly operational problems in both gravel pack and horizontal well completions. It also improves the production from a perforated underground hydrocarbon bearing formation since there is no debris to potentially cause plugging in the well or subsequent production lines.

The coil is configured to receive cooled gas therein. The arrangement is such that when introducing cooled gas in the coil, contaminants in the vapor stream condense on the coil, and when ceasing the introduction of cooled gas in the coil, contaminants in the vapor stream are released from the coil and collected in the collection container. Other embodiments and methods for removing contaminants are further disclosed.

The UV cross-linked MMMs in the form of symmetric dense film, asymmetric flat sheet membrane, or asymmetric hollow fiber membranes have good flexibility, high mechanical strength, and exhibit significantly enhanced selectivity and permeability over polymer membranes made from corresponding continuous polyimide polymer matrices for carbon dioxide/methane and hydrogen/methane separations.
