Abstract: An ethane recovery process utilizing multiple reflux streams is provided. Feed gas is cooled, partially condensed, and separated into a first liquid stream and a first vapor stream. First liquid stream is expanded and sent to a demethanizer. First vapor stream is split into a first and a second separator vapor streams. First separator vapor stream is expanded and sent to demethanizer. Second separator vapor stream is partially condensed and is separated into a reflux separator liquid stream, which is sent to demethanizer, and a reflux separator vapor stream, which is condensed and sent to demethanizer. Demethanizer produces a tower bottom stream containing a substantial amount of ethane and heavier components, and a tower overhead stream containing a substantial amount of remaining lighter components and forms a residue gas stream. A portion of residue gas stream is cooled, condensed, and sent to the demethanizer tower as top reflux stream.

Abstract: A modified pin to be used in an existing tumbler and pin lock to prevent the lock from unauthorized operation by a lock-picking technique known as “bumping.” A modified replacement pin is provided for an existing pin and tumbler lock. This modified replacement pin fits within the rotatable plug in the pin and tumbler lock. It replaces one of the longer pins of an existing pin set. The existing pin is cylindrical in shape. To modify the pin, a symmetrical notch is cut in proximity to one end of the pin. This notch causes the modified pin to catch on the plug during an attempted unauthorized opening by bumping the lock. Because the notch catches on the plug, it prevents the plug from turning. This effect is momentary but is enough to allow remaining pins in the pin and tumbler lock to fall into place to prevent the plug from turning and unauthorized operation of the lock.

Furthermore, a forming method is provided with the aid of the tool device.

Abstract: Apparatus attaches together stacked upper and lower metal sheets and provides a reinforced aperture. A lower die has a die groove and an opening in the center of the die groove. An upper die has an annular end face that registers with the die groove and a spring-loaded reciprocable punch button that registers with the opening. A hollow ring-shaped grommet has an annular upper end flange engaged by the annular end face of the upper die and an axially extending tubular wall longer than the stacked thickness of the sheets. A metal piercing point at the terminal end of the axially extending wall pierces through the stacked upper and lower sheets and into engagement with the die groove of the lower die to progressively bend the axially extending wall radially outward and upward into engagement with the lower sheet, thereby attaching the sheet together and providing a reinforced aperture.

Abstract: A calibration weight arrangement (4, 104) for an electronic balance with a force-transmitting mechanism (1) has a calibration weight (3, 103) adapted to be coupled to the force-transmitting mechanism. The arrangement also has a transfer mechanism and a drive source to manipulate the calibration weight in a guided movement. The drive source includes an actuator (18) cooperating with the transfer mechanism and at least one piezoelectric element (19) which drives the movement of the actuator. The piezoelectric element interacts with a drive wheel (17, 117) that is centrally positioned relative to the calibration weight arrangement and drives a likewise centrally positioned shaft (16, 126). The interaction between the piezoelectric element and the drive wheel occurs during the advance movement in one direction through the repeated engagement and release of a frictional contact force.

The sensor could further communicate using a wired interface and/or a wireless interface of the field instrument. The first and second frequencies of electromagnetic radiation are transmitted through a medium within a frequency range of approximately 0.1 TeraHertz to approximately 10 TeraHertz. Abstract: An alcohol density sensor for detecting an alcohol density in mixture fuel composed of petroleum-fuel and alcohol is installed in a fuel tank of an automotive vehicle. The alcohol density sensor includes a pair of electrodes immersed in the mixture fuel and a conductor portion for connecting the electrodes to a control unit having a circuit board. The conductor portion is composed of a first conductor portion integrally formed with the electrode and a second conductor portion connected to the first conductor portion. The first conductor portion is led out of a casing containing the electrodes and liquid-tightly sealed at a first through-hole formed in the casing. The second conductor portion is led out of the fuel tank through a second through-hole formed in the fuel tank. Since the first through-hole is sufficiently sealed to prevent pressurized mixture fuel in the casing from leaking into an inner space of the fuel tank, sealing of the second through-hole can be simplified.
