The strip is wound between a pair of winding/unwinding rollers, pivoted on the frame. The positioning member also comprises heating means able to heat the wafer to take it to a determinate operating temperature.

Abstract: The integrated structure of the stress sensor section with the control section facilitates the confirmation of the matching of both sections before the input device is incorporated into an electronic device. For example, it is possible to select only the input device which exhibits favorable matching as a result of the confirmation and to incorporate it in the electronic device. Therefore, with the above-described structure of the present invention, an input device that enables constantly favorable matching of both the stress sensor section and the control section can be provided.

Abstract: A method for repairing a guide vane segment of a gas turbine, the guide vane segment including at least two guide vanes as well as an inner and an outer shroud. At least one guide vane is irreparably damaged and is separated from the guide vane segment while the guide vane segment is completed by joining at least one replacement vane. If the one irreparable guide vane is located in one half of the segment outside the circumferential center of the guide vane segment, or if the several irreparable guide vanes are located in the same half of the segment, the matching number of guide vanes to be separated from the segment and replacement vanes to be joined to the segment are determined first. The determined number of replacement vanes are then joined to the guide vane segment. The same number of guide vanes, including the at least one irreparable guide vane, are finally separated from the guide vane segment.

Abstract: With the manufacture of turbine engine rotor drums, the opposite joining surfaces of rotor disks are brought into contact and at least one of the two rotor disks clamped into a fixture is set in a circular movement until the joining areas reach a pasty state due to the frictional heat. The circular movement of the rotor disks, in which the axis of the rotor disk moves along a circular path, is optically recorded and deviations due to imbalance are corrected by weight compensation at the fixture. Upon reaching the pasty material state the joining areas weld together, with the rotor disks being at rest and in axial alignment. Manufacture is cost-effective and guarantees precise axial alignment of the rotor disks and a long service life of the engine rotor drums.

Abstract: A method for assembling a steam generator includes parallel assembly of the boiler framework and preassembly of assembly modules, and hoisting of the assembly modules into the boiler framework. The outer roof section of the boiler framework roof is then assembled. The inner roof section and the internal components are assembled simultaneously with assembly of the boiler wall in the upper section of the steam generator. The segments of the external support pipes are mounted into the assembly modules and subsequently connected at their module joints the external support pipes are mounted in the final position in the outer roof section. The buckstays and the header tie bars are mounted headers to the boiler wall or to the external support pipes. The auxiliary steel structure of the assembly modules the suspension equipment of the curtain walls are dismantled.

A crash guard is mounted adjacent to the field case and includes a sight guide along an edge thereof and a rear blade guard formed integrally therewith.
