Abstract: The Snake Fence (1), especially for catching snakes. The netting is attached to elastic or non-elastic cord (2) which is wrapped around a tree, tree limb, or any natural or manmade surface. (3) The cord is attached to the netting and the netting is overlapped. (4) It is the single, double, or multiple layering of netting that catches the snakes and holds the snakes. The snakes cannot extricate themselves from the netting. The netting is proportional in size to the snake being caught; the elastic or non-elastic cord is proportional in size to the tree, tree limb, or any natural or manmade surface.

Abstract: The invention relates to a solid fuel decoupled fluidized bed gasifying method and a gasifying apparatus. By physically separately performing drying and pyrolyzing of fuel, gasification of char, and tar/hydrocarbon reforming, the interactions between the separated chemical reactions and physical processes during fluidized bed gasification can be utilized. Specifically, in a fluidized bed reactor having two reaction chambers, drying and pyrolyzing of fuel, gasification of char, and tar/hydrocarbon reforming are performed, respectively, the reforming of tar/hydrocarbon is promoted through the catalytic effect of the char, and the evaporated fuel moisture is provided to the char gasification and tar/hydrocarbon reforming as an effective reaction agent. Accordingly, the tar content in product gas can be reduced, the use amount of external steam can be reduced, the overall efficiency of gasification can be improved, and this technique can also be applied to the processing of high water-containing fuel.

Abstract: A door-opening assisting structure eliminates exclusive operating members and provides enhanced operability and reliability by operating in sync with the opening of a door. A passive member connected to a door closer, urges the door to move in the door-closing direction, rotates forward and backwards accompanying the opening and closing of the door. This moves transmission members forward and backwards in the direction of the opening and closing of the door, respectively. An opening spring urges the transmission member to move in the same in the direction as the opening of the door. The spring is locked in a release-pressure-storing state after accumulating release pressure as a result of the movement of the transmission member. The opening spring applies release pressure due to the rotation of the passive member within the predetermined angle region of the passive member when the door is beginning to open, and then is locked in the release-pressure-storing state.

Abstract: Disclosed is a batten riser assembly that is used to install battens for tile roofs. The batten riser assembly can be used to prolong the life of tile roofs since it is made of waterproof materials. The batten riser assembly uses flexible strips that can be easily folded in a compact package and can be installed in a quick and easy manner. The batten riser assembly can be used in conjunction with a marker tape to speed installation. The batten riser assembly is designed to prevent the damming of water that penetrates the tile roof. The batten riser assembly provides a simple and easy way for installers to comply with building codes.

Abstract: A roofing element such as a concrete tile is provided that includes a body portion extending between a head end and a nose end. The body portion includes a lower surface, an upper surface, and a protrusion that is disposed substantially adjacent the nose end and extends downwardly from the lower surface. The protrusion is disposed on the lower surface such that when a nose end of a second roofing element is installed vertically above a head end of a first roofing element and overlapping by at least 3 inches, the protrusion of the second roofing element is positioned substantially above an aperture defined in the head end of the first roofing element. The protrusion reduces a distance between the aperture of the first roofing element and the nose end of the second roofing element, which increases the likelihood that the adhesive will securely join the first roofing element with the second roofing element.
