Abstract: The tool saver hand tool systematic tethering safety device is intended for use with hand tools (which could be defined as tools intended to be used by an operators hands, by way of the hand tools' handle, or grip). Hand tools are well known to drop accidentally out of an operators' hands, and the tool saver hand tool systematic tethering safety device will stop said hand tool from falling completely away from said operator, through the use of the systems' hand tool receiving apparatus, having been fit securely onto any hand tool, being then attached, through the use of its center linkage assembly, to a wrist piece, which, then, said wrist piece, fits comfortably, and securely onto an operators wrist.

Abstract: A rope cleat secures a rope to a structure. The cleat has a body with opposite first and second portions joined along a longitudinal central plane. The body has a U-shaped cavity inside it tapering between a large entrance leg and a smaller exit leg, which communicate at a confluent portion. A flange is integrally attached to the body first portion. The flange is mounted against the structure through a mounting hole. The flange has an entrance hole and an exit hole spaced apart and extending through the flange. The rope is easily inserted into the large entrance hole, through the U-shaped cavity, and out the smaller exit hole. A knot is then tied to secure the rope in the cleat. The cleat has registration pins on one body portion, and corresponding registration holes on the opposite portion. The pins align the body first and second portions for assembly with a screw.

An actuator is provide being fixed to a slider contained in the housing and slidable with respect to the housing. The slider, having an upper hook and a lower hook and being able to coact with an upper protrusion and a lower protrusion of a blade seat also contained in the housing, are able to automatically retract into the housing after the blade leaves a workpiece and before a user of the knife releases the actuator for extending the blade. The blade will not undesirably move backward in cutting.

Abstract: A device for cutting sheet metal is disclosed. The device comprises of a cutting blade (13) which passes between two curved sharpened support blades (12 & 14) (“curved support blades”), the latter which curves away from the cutting blade (13). The cutting blade (13) and the curved support blades (12 & 14) each have two holes in them (henceforth referred to as upper and lower holes) which enable them to be connected together and to the handles (4 & 5). The handles (4 & 5) are long and similar to those commonly used in long handle pruning secateurs. Items (3 & 6) each have two holes in them (henceforth referred to as upper and lower holes) which enable them to be connected together and to the cutting blade (13) and the curved support blades (12 & 14). Items (3 & 6) are bolted together at their upper holes, and at the other ends they slot into the handles (4 & 5).
