Abstract: An electrical box template comprising a body having a front opposite a back, at least four sides, and an interior opposite an exterior. At least one interior support is coupled to the interior of the body such that the interior support is configured to operate as a handle for a user. A centering orifice is disposed centrally in the body within the interior support. The centering orifice is configured to align the electrical box template with a predetermined electrical box mounting location. At least two levels are coupled to the interior of the body, with one level positioned vertically and one level positioned horizontally on the body.

Abstract: A testing apparatus for testing perpendicularity of an end surface of a workpiece is disclosed. The testing apparatus includes an electrically conductive first reference piece defining two guide holes, and two testing units. The testing units are slidably engaged in the guide holes, so as to form two testing circuits. At a normal state, each testing circuit is closed, and each testing unit extends out of the guide hole for a distance, wherein the distance corresponds to an allowable perpendicularity tolerance. Each testing unit can be pushed to retract back to the guide holes by the end of the workpiece to cause the testing circuit to be opened. The opened state or closed state of each of the testing circuits will help show the status of the perpendicularity of the end surface of the workpiece.

Abstract: A method of building construction layout utilizing full-scale plans or templates. Plans are printed full-scale on an appropriate media, and applied to the building sub-floor prior to the remainder of construction. Construction elements such as walls are placed directly on the media. Options range from reproducing plans as originally drawn to integrating multiple plans into a single file or image. The plans remain in place, effectively a full-size template, until all related work is complete. When no longer needed the media is removed. Full scale plans do not replace the Contract Construction Documents—but are a full-scale reproduction of selected portions of the Contract Documents.

Abstract: A gauge device for use with a staple gun serves to align the staple gun relative to building siding to dispense a two prong staple from a head of the staple gun into one of a plurality of fastener apertures in siding members of the building siding. The gauge device comprises a pair of flanges arranged to depend from laterally opposed sides of the head of the staple gun at a location such that abutment of one of the flanges below a lock edge channel of a siding member locates one prong of the two prong staple to be in alignment with one of the fastener apertures and locates the other prong of the two prong staple above the top free edge of a nailing flange of the siding member.

Abstract: A measuring device for determining a position and/or a speed includes a scale having marks arranged at spacings from one another, and a scanning head, with the scale and the scanning head being arranged for movement relative to one another along a movement direction. The scanning head is constructed to determine a first spacing of the scanning head in the movement direction relative to a first one of the marks, and a second spacing of the scanning head in the movement direction relative to a second one of the marks, with the position and/or the speed being determined on the basis of the first spacing and the second spacing.

Abstract: An air intake system for supplying outdoor air to a clothes dryer, the system including an enclosure positioned to substantially cover an air intake of a clothes dryer and a conduit coupling the enclosure with the outdoor environment, the enclosure defining an air space for maintaining a volume of supply air and an open side positioned adjacent the air intake such that air is supplied to the air intake from the supply air.

Abstract: A drying machine is disclosed. The drying machine includes a selectively rotatable drum receiving an object to be dried, a steam supply member having one side connected to a steam generator and the other side connected to the drum, and a swirler installed in the steam supply member at a predetermined position for swirling steam flowing through the steam supply member. A method for controlling the drying machine includes heating a drum, supplying steam generated in a steam generator into the drum, and supplying hot air into the drum. The drying machine having the above described configuration can efficiently eliminate creases of clothes.

Abstract: A new concept drying machine, which not only functions as a pedestal for a washing machine or a drying machine, but also performs a drying function, is disclosed. The disclosed pedestal drying machine includes a container having a space for containing an object to be dried, in an interior of the container, the container allowing a laundry drying machine or a laundry washing machine to be laid on an outer top surface of the container, an air supplier for forcibly supplying air to the space, an input unit provided at the container, to receive an operating command from a user, a display unit provided at the container, to display an operation state, and a controller provided at the container, to control the air supplier based on the command from the input unit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a new conceptual pedestal type dryer which serves both as a pedestal of a washing machine or dryer, and a dryer, and particularly, to a pedestal type dryer with a PTC heater. The pedestal type dryer includes a container having a space formed therein for holding a drying object, and a top provided to install a laundry dryer, or a washing machine, and a hot air supply unit having a fan for blowing air, and a PTC heater, for supplying hot air to the space for holding the drying object.

Abstract: A method of drying an object. The method includes donning a drying expedient, the drying expedient being an absorbent fabric having a top and bottom, width and length, the length defining the distance between the top and bottom. An opening sized and positioned proximate the top is configured within the object to receive the head and neck of a user and a pair of openings are also configured within the drying expedient so that once donned, the drying expedient extends from the neck over the chest terminating below the waist of the user. The method includes grasping a wet object and wrapping the bottom of a drying expedient about it to dry the same.

Abstract: Disclosed and claimed is a pneumatic dryer for removal of liquid from the surface of particulate. The dryer finds application in drying water from coal using air as a drying gas. A significant mechanism of the removal of liquid from particulate is the shearing of liquid without a phase change from the particulate surface.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for drying and for the material flow-specific processing of coarse-grained waste that can be aerated. The invention is characterized by subjecting the waste in a first step to a hot air drying step (1) in a tunnel drier (10), followed by the subsequent process steps of sieving (2) to remove the fines, preferably with a grain size <40 mm, air separation (3), removal of metal (4) and optical sorting (5), and size reduction (6) of the residual fraction, preferably to a grain size <40 mm, and returning the size-reduced residual fraction to the tunnel drier (10).

At least one among said vamp (2) and said sole (3) presents a part comprising a very hard ceramic material able to confer on said part a high wear resistance and hence a long life. This material is ceramic.

Abstract: A ski boot for ski mountaineering or telemark skiing including a shell of plastic material and a sole. A first longitudinal cut in the shell defines two sides which allow the entry of the foot of the skier. A second cut in the shell, transverse to, and opening into the first cut, is formed in the front section of the shell. The first and second cuts form a longitudinal slot in the shell; stops are located at opposite ends of the slot. In the preferred embodiment, a peg with an enlarged head is slit within the slot to adjust the flexibility of the boot in the longitudinal direction. In the alternative embodiment, a gaiter and a profiled element are located in the area of the first cut and the second cut in the shell. A peg with an enlarged head is slid with aligned slots in the shell, gaiter, and profiled element, to adjust the flexibility of the shell in the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: A ski boot, designed for ski mountaineering, includes a rigid shell and sole, an inshoe of soft material, and a leg portion pivotally secured to the shell. A lever is located on one side of the leg portion for operating a traction cable located on the other side of the leg portion. The remote end of the traction cable is engaged with, or secured to, a retention element on the leg portion. A spoiler is pivotally mounted at the rear of the shell, and is interposed between the rear of the leg portion and the rear of the inshoe. A lug, or similar coupling element, is formed on the lever. The lever is mounted for pivotal movement in the horizontal direction, between an opened, and closed, configuration or condition. When the lever is in its closed configuration, the lug engages the leg portion and the spoiler, and blocks their pivotal movement, or articulation, relative to the shell.

Abstract: A snow pusher attachment for use in conjunction with a straight blade angle-type snow plow mounted to a work vehicle. This pusher allows a work vehicle to capture, contain, and relocate large amounts of snow very quickly and efficiently. The attachment consists of side panels, connected by horizontal members between. This pusher attachment is secured to the snow plow by bracket assemblies, attached to the upper edge of the snow plow that engage hooks on the upper, rear portion of the pusher attachment. The attachment does not require the operator to exit the work vehicle to secure or release it from the snowplow. Accordingly, the attachment allows the quick and repeated conversion of a snow plow into a snow pusher box and visa versa.

Abstract: A trenching attachment for selective attachment to a working machine features a frame arranged for selective connection to the working machine, an internal combustion engine mounted to the frame and a boom assembly connected to the frame and having a trencher chain installed thereon. The internal combustion engine is operatively connected to the trenching chain to facilitate driving thereof. Having its own dedicated engine, the trenching attachment is less dependent on the power take-off system of the working machine than a conventional trenching attachment that uses a hydraulic motor to power the trencher chain and relies exclusively on delivery of hydraulic fluid from the working machine for operation.

Abstract: A wear assembly for excavating equipment includes a base fixed to the excavating equipment, a wear member fit over the base, and a lock to releasably hold the wear member to the base. The wear member includes side relief to reduce drag on the system. The wear member and the base each includes a hemispherical front end and a generally trapezoidal rear portion. The base includes a nose and a stop projecting from the nose to cooperate with the lock without an opening being needed to receive the lock into the nose. The lock is an elongate lock positioned generally in an axial direction and which holds the wear member to the base under compressive loads.

Abstract: An ironing roller includes a first annular chamber in communication with an inlet and an outlet arranged to rotate about a longitudinal axis, where the first annular chamber forms a passage through which a heat carrying fluid heated by heating device located inside the ironing roller circulates, a circuit external to the annular chamber being arranged to lead the heat carrying fluid from the outlet to the inlet of the chamber. A second annular chamber adjacent and coaxial to the first annular chamber is provided, the two annular chambers being intercommunicated for the circulation of the heat carrying fluid from one of the annular chambers to the other, and where one of the annular chambers carries out a heat uptake function and the other one carries out a heat transfer function.

Each display clip has a mounting portion with a channel or groove shaped for disposing over a section of a display support, with each display support having edges with one or more slits or openings. The display clip comprises a retainer positioned cross-sectional to the channel. The clip mounts on the edge of the display support, and the retainer inserts into a slit or opening in the edge. The retainer fixes the display clip to the display support at the point of the insertion. Each clip has a brace portion extending from the mounting portion of the display clip. Abstract: The present invention is a spring-biased folding firearm that stows compactly and safely. The firearm has three main components: a stock, a receiver and a grip/magazine combination. In folding, the stock folds over the receiver, sandwiching the grip/magazine between the components. When folded, the magazine over-inserts into the grip housing, allowing the stock to clear and providing additional safety when stowed by isolating the ammunition feed. A buttplate latches over the open joint to contain the unit and further secure it. When stowed, the bolt is disengaged from the ammunition feed supply, preventing accidental firing, so a loaded round can be safely carried in the chamber—allowing for immediate use of the firearm upon opening. The weapon is deployed through single-handed actuation and is spring-assisted into firing position. Currently the firearm uses readily available aftermarket parts for easier replacement if necessary and does contain hardware for mounting accessories.

Abstract: A rod and reel assembly for deep water fishing. The rod employs a structure that eliminates the need for line guides along the length of the structure by use of a swivel guide that maintains the line between two rod members. The swivel roller is placed at the distal end of the structure allowing fishing line deployed from a mounted reel to the swivel roller to pass unobstructed through the structure. Also disclosed is an electric reel that includes a cantilever spool having an enlarged interior allowing hand control of free spooling. A two stage drag system employs a first set of springs to allow hands free spooling with minimal drag and a second set of springs for proper setting for the fish hauling.

This invention further relates to the method of producing said articulated fishing fly lure.

Abstract: This invention provides a safe and effective product for extinguishing of insects (particularly Wasps, Bees and other flying insects). The device comprises a spray can or other spraying type device containing glue which can be sprayed in conjunction with an insecticide which is effective against nesting and/or other flying insects. When the user approaches a hornet's nest the individual can spay this device at the opening of the hole which will effectively seal the hole (entrance to the nest) and kill the inhabitants. Typically (prior to this invention) one would spray a wasp nest and run for their lives in hope of not getting stung. This device will saves thousands or lives and will be a significant advance in the art of preventing medical and loss of work and other cost due to bee and wasp stings.

Abstract: The present invention provides a device for eliminating mosquitoes and other harmful flying insects by eradicating the eggs and larvae laid or deposited in the device. The device is an electrically operated, self-contained, compact device that eliminates harmful flying insects and/or mosquitoes by attracting the insects to lay their eggs in a body of liquid within the device. This is accomplished with the use of attractants in the device, in the liquid, on the device, or around the device. The body of liquid acts as a breeding ground which is then periodically drained by a valve onto a screen or mesh of sufficient size to filter and separate eggs and larvae from the liquid. The eggs and larvae are then crushed, smashed, or otherwise destroyed by mechanical means. The liquid flows through a filter media, making it ready to be recycled from a reserve tank for reuse in refilling the body of liquid in the device.

Abstract: A method for producing biofuel by a transesterification reaction of an alcohol and a triglyceride such as an oil or fat is carried out at supercritical conditions in a reactor using a stoichiometric excess of alcohol. The reaction products of biofuel and gaseous mixture of glycerin and alcohol are re-cycled through a series of heat exchangers which transfer heat to respective pre-heaters to sequentially raise the temperature and pressure of the reaction mixture prior to delivery to the reactor. Any excess alcohol after separating and recovering gaseous glycerin therefrom is recycled and mixed with “fresh” alcohol. Preferably, the process is a non-catalytic continuous process.
