Abstract: A double clutch transmission with two clutches connected to a drive shaft and to one of two transmission input shafts. Fixed gears are coupled to the input shafts and engage idler gears. Several coupling devices connect the idler gears to a respective countershaft which have an output gear that couple gears of an output shaft such that forward and reverse gears can be shifted. Three dual gear planes each comprise two idler gears, each supported by a respective countershaft, and one fixed gear. In each dual gear plane, at least one idler gear wheel can be used for implementing at least two gears so that at least one winding-path gear can be shifted via a shifting device.

Abstract: A linear actuator has a clutch mechanism settled between a worm gear and a screw of the linear actuator. The clutch mechanism including a disc spring normally stays in a clutched position where a driving power is transmitted from the worm gear to the screw. When the linear actuator is overloaded, the clutch mechanism changes to a declutched position by compressing the disc spring so that the driving power is not transmitted to the screw. Thereby, the clutch mechanism protects internal components of the linear actuator from being damaged, thereby improving durability of the linear actuator.

Abstract: The pipe plug and cap holding tool includes an elongate shaft having a magnetic square drive end and an opposite rotating handle. The handle end may include a square drive socket, and the medial portion of the shaft preferably includes a padded handgrip surface. The tool is used for the installation and removal of ferrous pipe fittings, i.e., caps and plugs, from relatively inaccessible installations. Cap or plug removal is accomplished by first loosening the fitting conventionally and installing a square drive socket of appropriate size or diameter on the drive end of the tool. The socket is positioned over the fitting and the tool is rotated using the medial grip portion, with the rotary handle held stationary to steady the tool. The fitting is retained in the socket due to the magnetic tip of the square drive. Installation of a fitting is accomplished by reversing the above procedure.

Abstract: A power tool is disclosed. The power tool may comprise a movable blade and a detection system for detecting contact between the blade and an object. The detection system may comprise an excitation plate capacitively coupling the drive signal to the movable blade and a circuit in communication with the excitation plate. The circuit may be configured to generate an in-phase component signal and a quadrature component signal from a blade current signal indicative of the instantaneous current drawn by the movable blade and calculate an energy of the blade current signal considering the in-phase component and the quadrature component. The circuit may be further programmed to compare the energy of the blade current signal to an adaptive trigger threshold to detect contact between the blade and the object based on whether the energy of the blade current signal is greater than the adaptive trigger threshold.
