Abstract: An improved laundering method for hand washing fabrics such as clothes, curtains, sheets, tablecloths, etc. includes the steps of providing a laundering system, adding water to a wash basin, dispersing the laundry detergent in a wash basin, adding a fabric to the wash basin, forming a wash liquor by combining the water and the laundry detergent, soaking the fabric in the wash liquor for a washing time period of from about 30 minutes to about 12 hours to form a soaked fabric, removing the soaked fabric from the wash liquor, removing wash liquor from the soaked fabric, dispersing the rinsing composition in water in a rinse basin to form a rinse solution, adding the soaked fabric to the rinse solution, soaking the soaked fabric in the rinse solution for a rinsing time period of from about 1 minute to about 1 hour to form a rinsed fabric, removing the rinsed fabric from the rinse solution, removing rinse solution from the rinsed fabric, and drying the rinsed fabric.

Abstract: A cleaning composition according to one embodiment includes a surfactant system comprising nonionic surfactant in combination with an anionic surfactant; water present in an amount from 0 to about 40 wt % based on a total weight of the cleaning composition; a solvent system comprising a polyalcohol, the solvent system being present in an amount effective to solubilize the surfactant system in the water; and an enzyme present in an amount of less than about 15 wt %; wherein the cleaning composition is in a form of a continuous phase, wherein the cleaning composition is characterized as exhibiting about a constant cleaning efficacy as measured using test procedure ASTM D4265 when the cleaning composition is added to 69 liters of exterior water in amounts ranging from about 9 to about 22 grams of cleaning composition. Methods for pretreating and cleaning laundry and nontextile surfaces are also presented.

Abstract: A method for making a Goodyear shoe includes the steps of: stitching together a lower edge of an upper and a peripheral edge of an inner midsole so as to form a coupled section; placing a last into an assembly resulting from the previous step; placing an outer welt on an outer surface of the upper at the coupled section and stitching the outer welt, the upper, and the inner midsole together; placing a filler on a bottom surface of the inner midsole; bonding a thin sole to a bottom portion of an assembly that results from the previous step and stitching the thin sole to the outer welt; and bonding an outsole and performing edge-abrading. The method prevents a toe cap portion of the upper from tearing and creasing and dispenses with such steps as gripping the upper, driving wire nails, and trimming the lower edge of the upper.

Abstract: An automatic pool cleaning attachment brush for the purpose of non-manual bristle brushing of any swimming pool surface. The inventive device includes a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) mounting plate with pre-drilled holes, bristle brushes, and stainless steel mounting screws. The self-tapping stainless steel screws are used for mounting my invention to the back of an existing automatic swimming pool cleaner. The PVC plate contains pre-drilled holes for easy installation. Bristle brushes are the main components which provide the unique action which is the principle and concept of my invention.

The main characteristic thereof is to spray cleaning solution, wash and aspirate the removed dirt and store same. The first, tri-functional operation is performed by the head, comprising a brush with a preferably circular cross-section wherein the scrubbing bristles (1) in the frontal view of the drawn example form a circular crown; interspersed between said bristles are the pipes for spraying the washing solution (3), which are channelled from the pipe (4) which together with the wider cross-section aspiration pipes forms the barrel and in the FIGURE exits in the centre. Said barrel joins the head to the handle. The interior volume, limited by the scrubbing bristles (1), the face (2) of the head bearing said bristles and the surface for cleaning form a chamber wherein washing and aspiration take place.

The dental and/or oral care device is characterized in that the functional body is configured in at least some sections thereof as a trelliswork girder frame that has longitudinal girders substantially extending in the longitudinal direction of the tool support and a plurality of cross-girders. The enveloping body is especially transparent so that the functional body is visible through the enveloping body.

Abstract: The swimming pool cleaner of the invention is a suction device comprising a rectangular housing, at least four wheels enabling the device to be manually rolled along the swimming pool bottom with the long sides perpendicular to the direction of motion, and two cylindrical rotary brushes adjacent and parallel to opposing long sides of the housing and driven by rotation of the device wheels. Tree leaves and other debris are effectively captured due to a downward sweeping action produced by rotation of the cylindrical rotary brush on the leading edge as the cleaning device, connected to a suction means, is rolled back and forth over the swimming pool bottom by an operator pulling and pushing on a pole attached to the top of the housing. The performance of the device is enhanced via fenders that wrap around the tops of the rotary brushes, and inclusion of various housing bottom features.

When engaged, the drive clutch is coupled to the clutch assembly output to transmit the second drive torque to the output.
