Abstract: The Steering Wheel Control Arm is an accessory that allows the pilot of a marine vessel or a vehicle to steer the from a position on either side of the vessel or vehicle. The Steering Wheel Control Arm consists of a clamp and a telescoping arm that attach to the steering wheel of a boat. The telescoping arm pivots up and down and from side to side so the operator can easily switch from the port to starboard sides of the boat. When not in use the arm quickly detaches allowing piloting of the boat in a normal manner. This accessory allows skippers of wheel-driven boats to enjoy the same flexibility that tiller extensions have offered tiller piloted boats. Additionally it enables pilots of motorized vessels to continue steering the vessel while assisting with activities that may be taking place at the starboard or port sides of the boat.

The system comprises a carboniser segment configured such that a solid sorbent reacts therein with the input gas stream to remove CO2 from the input gas stream; a calciner segment configured such that the solid sorbent from the carboniser segment reacts therein to release the CO2 into a substantially pure gas stream; a heat exchanger unit for exchanging heat between the carboniser and calciner segments; a first conditioning unit for controlling a CO2 partial pressure in the carboniser segment; and a second conditioning unit for controlling a CO2 partial pressure in the calciner segment; wherein the first and second conditioning units are configured such that a difference between the CO2 partial pressures in the carboniser and calciner segments respectively is controlled such that heat is provided from the carboniser to the calciner through the heat exchanging unit.

Abstract: A method of making a supported gas separation molecular sieve membrane. In this method a porous support, which is preferably pretreated, is contacted with a molecular sieve synthesis mixture under hydrothermal synthesis conditions. The contacting step is conducted for a shortened crystallization time period. The resulting coated porous support is calcined to yield the supported gas separation molecular sieve membrane having particularly good gas separation characteristics.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a biodegradable material for controlling ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, odor, and/or volatile organic compounds emissions from organic wastes. The biodegradable material in accordance with the present invention may be used to control, reduce, or prevent noxious emissions from organic wastes from, for example, animals and animal production, food and food production, pets, composting, organic fertilizer, biosolids, and potting soil mixtures to name a few. The present invention also relates to sachets, bioscrubbers, biofilters, and biomass filters comprising a biodegradable material for controlling such emissions. The present invention further relates to processes for producing and processes for using a biodegradable material to control noxious emissions from organic waste. In particular, the present invention is useful with respect to managing animal wastes, including, for example, pet, poultry, swine, dairy, horse, other livestock, other animal, and human wastes.

Abstract: A device and process for separating liquid and gas phases in a flowstream containing a liquefied gas or supercritical fluid under pressure mixed with a liquid. A splitter vessel separates the liquid from gas phases and transfers liquid to a collection container while conducting the gas phase out of the splitter. Separation of liquid phase out of the flowstream is provided without additional pressure schemes or solvent extractions imposed on the stream.
