Abstract: A pin tumbler lock is key bump resistant by applying a top pin that has an at least partially walled tubular hollow structure. The hollow top pin is reduced in weight compared to a standard top pin. In one embodiment of the present invention the top pin is made longer than a top pin in a pin tumbler lock of standard construction. In a further embodiment of the present invention the pin tumbler lock has a compound spring in a common chamber of the pin tumbler lock. A top pin in one embodiment of the present invention is made of titanium. The top pin in a further embodiment of the present invention is part of a kit. The kit may have installation instructions. The kit may also have packaging. The pin tumbler lock in one embodiment of the present invention has a combination pin that is substantially heavier than a pin tumbler lock in a known embodiment. The pin tumbler lock may be a door lock, a container lock, a padlock or a car lock or any other lock that is subject to bumping.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the antagonistic bacteria for controlling the Fusarium wilt of continuous cropping banana and their microbial organic fertilizer. It belongs to technology of intensive agricultural production. The present invention separates two antagonistic bacteria NJN-6 and NJN-11 and produces the microbial organic fertilizer through inoculating the two said strains into pig manure compost and rapeseed cake compost to conduct solid-state fermentation. The microbial organic fertilizer is characterized in that in the fertilizer, the content of each of the antagonistic bacteria NJN-6 and NJN-11 is above 1×108 cfu/g, total nitrogen is 4˜5% (weight percent), above 90% (weight percent) of the total nitrogen is organic nitrogen, total nitrogen-phosphorus-kalium nutrient is 6˜10% (weight percent) and organic matter is 30˜35% (weight percent).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a biocontrol strain against the wilt of continuous cropping cucumber and watermelon as well as its microbial organic fertilizer, which belongs to the technology for agricultural intensive production. The present invention separates Trichoderma harzianum SQR-T037, which has a remarkable biocontrol effect against wilt of cucumber and watermelon. Microbial organic fertilizer was produced from this biocontrol strain and organic compost. In this fertilizer, the content of the strain is above 1×108 cfu/g, the content of total nitrogen is 3˜5% (above 90% of the nitrogen is organic nitrogen), total nitrogen-phosphorus-kalium nutrient is 6˜10% and organic matter is 30˜35%. As indicated by the experiments, after this microbial organic fertilizer is applied to soil, it will enable rapid multiplication of biocontrol strain into a dominant microflora in the soil and achieve more than 85% of biocontrol rate of wilt in the soil suffering from serious cucumber and watermelon wilt.

Abstract: A fertilizer composition including a base fertilizer granule with a barrier coating and one or more micronutrients. The base fertilizer material is coated with a barrier coating, and then a coating of one or more micronutrients. Alternatively, the base fertilizer material is coated with a barrier coating having discrete particles of micronutrients dispersed throughout. The barrier coating acts to physically and chemically isolate the micronutrient particles from the underlying fertilizer composition such that more of the micronutrient is available to the soil solution, and ultimately to the root zone of the plant.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for determination of susceptibility of asphalt concrete materials to moisture damage. An asphalt sample of known bulk specific gravity (density) is placed inside a chamber filled with water, which is capable of heating the sample to a predetermined temperature. The chamber is pressurized by introduction of air pressure to a flexible membrane that decreases the volume within a chamber containing the sample and water, increasing the pore pressure in the sample. The pressure is then released and allowed to come to ambient pressure. This process is repeated a predetermined number of times (cycles). When a selected number of cycles are complete, the asphalt sample is removed from the chamber and its bulk specific gravity (density) measured again. The difference between the density before and after conditioning is an excellent method of rating the degree at which moisture would deteriorate asphalt samples due to introduction of moisture.

Abstract: A flow rate device for measuring the flow rate of a fluid flowing through a wellbore is disclosed. The flow rate device includes a differential pressure conduit, a flow restrictor insert and a differential pressure measurement device. The differential pressure conduit is locatable in the wellbore, defines an internal bore, and is adapted to include a restriction having a cross-sectional area to increase the velocity of fluid flowing through the differential pressure conduit to create a differential pressure. The differential pressure conduit defining first and second pressure measuring stations axially spaced along the differential pressure conduit. The flow restrictor insert is located in the restriction to reduce the cross-sectional area of the restriction. The flow restrictor insert defines an internal bore having a cross-sectional area less than the cross-sectional area of the restriction. The flow restrictor insert also has a pressure measuring port aligned with the second pressure measuring station.

Abstract: A bond strength testing apparatus comprising a main body, a test tool mount for holding a test tool, and an axial drive mechanism including a screw and nut assembly. The drive mechanism couples the test tool mount to the main body and allows for relative movement between the test tool mount and the main body in an axial direction. A backlash control element is coupled to the main body and the test tool mount, and, in operation, biases the test tool mount relative to the main body in an axial direction. The backlash control element is switchable between a first state in which the test tool mount is biased in a first axial direction by the backlash control element, and a second state in which either the test tool mount is biased in a second axial direction by backlash control element, or the backlash control element applies no biasing force to test tool mount. The apparatus can be automated to apply the appropriate backlash control for a particular, selected test type.

The device incorporates a clamping mechanism and a shear test tool that are mounted on a baseplate. During a set-up procedure, the shear test tool is movable relative to the baseplate. During a test procedure, the shear test tool is clamped by the clamping mechanism in a fixed position relative to the baseplate.
