The first blade unit has a first pivoting bore, and the second blade unit has a second pivoting bore. The adjusting button has an axle rotatably inserted in the first pivoting bore. The axle has an offset bore whose axis is offset from that of the axle. The nut is rotatably disposed in the offset bore, and the screw is inserted in the second pivoting bore and threaded with the nut. Thereby, the rotational axis of the first blade unit and that of the second blade relatively move as the adjusting button rotates in the first pivoting bore.

Abstract: A power operated rotary knife having a reusable handle assembly and disposable blade support assembly including a head portion and a blade support portion extending from the head portion, wherein upon completion of a tissue debriding operation on a donor, the used blade support assembly is removed from the handle assembly and disposed of, the handle assembly is autoclaved/sterilized and a new, sterilized blade support assembly is affixed to the handle assembly prior to a subsequent use. An amplifying lever moves along with a tilt lever which rotates in accordance with the level of fluid. In a balanced state, the end of the amplifying lever is spaced apart by a predetermined gap from a contact of a case. When the tilt of the object significantly exceeds a predetermined level, the case fixed at the object is tilted together with the object. The tilt lever in the case keeps the balanced state by the level of fluid, the tilt lever rotates in one direction relative to the case, and the rotational displacement of the tilt lever is amplified by the amplifying lever to enable contact sensors and contacts to be interconnected and turned to the ON state.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for drying coal using activated alumina. The method and system dries the coal by combining coal with the activated alumina. While in combination, the mixture is agitated to maximize surface contact between the activated alumina and the coal. As the coal contact the activated alumina, the surfactant moisture on the coal is then absorbed by the activated alumina. The activated alumina allow for the water molecules to pass into the sieves, thus being removed from the coal. After a period of agitation, the method and system thereby separates the activated alumina and the coal.
