Abstract: Optical reading system and methods having multiple modes of operation, for example: omnidirectional and single-code picking; fixed and handheld reading; 1D and 2D code reading. In one configuration, an image-based system obtains input data via an area sensor (e.g., a 2D CCD array) with only data corresponding to a pattern of virtual scan lines being stored and processed. A user may implement different operating modes such as a first mode reading codes in any location or orientation and a second mode reading only a code oriented along a particular virtual scan line or group thereof. Alternately, the data reader is operable to switch between handheld mode selecting a first pattern of virtual scan lines to process and/or decode and a fixed mode selecting a second pattern of virtual scan lines to process and/or decode. Virtual scan patterns in either mode can change within or between frames.

Abstract: An apparatus for atomizing a precursor liquid for vapor generation and thin film deposition on a substrate. The precursor liquid is atomized by a carrier gas to form a droplet aerosol comprised of small precursor liquid droplets suspended in the carrier gas. The droplet aerosol is then heated to form vapor, producing a gas/vapor mixture that can be introduced into a deposition chamber to form thin films on a substrate. The liquid is introduced into the atomizing apparatus in such a manner as to avoid excessive heating that can occur or lead to the formation of undesirable by-products due to material degradation as result of thermal decomposition. The apparatus is particularly suited for vaporizing high molecular weight substances with a low vapor pressure that requires a high vaporization temperature for the liquid to vaporize. The apparatus can also be used to vaporize solid precursors dissolved in a solvent for vaporization.

Abstract: A pump fragrance device includes a pump spray, an inner housing connected to a spray head, and an outer housing on the inner housing. On the inner housing, a junction piece connected to the spray head has an opening thereon. The inner housing's surface has an assembling piece to fit with the outer housing, which has an assembling structure to fit with the inner housing. The inner and outer housings form a fixing structure. The fixing structure is filled with a volatile carrier agent, at least a part of which is located in the spray path of the pump spray. When used, the pump spray sprays content onto a surface of the volatile carrier agent, thereby reducing the quantity of the volatile aromatic agent used. This prolongs the diffusion time of the volatile aromatic agent, thereby relieving users from the danger of the fragrance device being under high temperature.

Abstract: The invention concerns a shell segment for the purpose of manufacturing a fuselage cell section for a fuselage cell of an aeroplane, with at least one skin field and with a multiplicity of longitudinal stiffeners arranged thereon, in particular stringers, and also at least one transverse stiffening element running transverse to the longitudinal stiffeners, in particular at least one frame. In that the connection of the at least one transverse stiffening element to the at least one skin field is undertaken with at least one connecting bracket wherein the at least one connecting bracket has at least one corrugation, the supporting brackets for purposes of absorbing tilting moments of the frames, in forms of embodiment of shell segments of prior known art, can be omitted. By this means a considerable weight reduction is possible with, at the same time, a reduced production effort.

Abstract: A cable wedge assembly that can streamline installation of cabling assemblies upon trees and other structures is provided. For example, the cable wedge assembly need not require specialized tools for installation. Rather, the unique features and functions of the assembly attach to a cable merely by inserting a cable through the assembly, tightening a portion of the connector upon another and establishing tension in the cable. Once cable tension is established, the integral wedges seat causing attachment to and retention of the cable. This attachment and retention is effected by way of split conical inserts disposed within the housing of the assembly.
