Fourchettes may be connected between the palmar and back portions. Fasteners such as zippers and hook and pile fasteners may be employed.

The second belt extends from the secured end of the first belt through the waistband across the central body region, the second belt exiting the waistband at the junction of the second side region and central body region. A first fixed tie is positioned at the outer edge of the second side region along the position of the waistband. A second fixed tie is secured to the inside of the waistband between the central body region and first side region.

The garment stiffener assembly central to the invention comprises a garment stiffener structure, adhesive material permanently applied thereto, and an optional backing material. The stiffener structure is formed from a substantially planar, semi-rigid material. The stiffener structure may be rolled so as to enable the users to unroll stiffener segments as may be required, and detach portions of the stiffener structure from the stiffener roll for affixation to targeted garment portions.

Abstract: A sports helmet includes recessed insert surfaces on its exterior to accommodate shock absorbing inserts disposed therein. The helmet may include, for example, five recessed insert surfaces, a front recessed surface, a top recessed surface, a rear recessed surface, and two side recessed surfaces. The inserts may be disposed into the recessed surfaces to create a substantially uniform outer helmet shape. A uniform finish may cover the exterior of the helmet. The shock absorbing inserts, when used on a person receiving a force to the helmet's insert, will absorb at least a portion of the force, limiting the force's impact on the wearer's brain. The helmet may, for example, help prevent concussions and other brain injuries in sport participants.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a helmet safety liner. More particularly, the invention encompasses a liquid-gel impact reaction liner for a motorcycle helmet. The present invention is also directed to a novel liquid-gel impact reaction liner for a half-shell motorcycle helmet. The inventive helmet could also have at least one cushion or intermediate layer which could be secured by one or more securing means.

Smooth, perforated side panels 230 allow free flow of water while safely confining the child to the interior of the pen. For use in bathing, the pen relies on the surrounding bathtub to hold water. For use in showering, the pen retains no water. The pen may be collapsible for easy storage.

An automatic controller system coordinates water flow and garbage disposal operation, and the water supply can be linked to the sink below the sink rim to save counter top space. In some forms multiple rinsing nozzles are provided which pulse in altering fashion.

Abstract: The invention is a support device for lifting and transporting a patient or other type of load. The support device has a frame mounted on a support base equipped with wheels and a brake. Long handles are attached to the frame, to provide a significant mechanical advantage to an operator. Lifting the handles tilts the frame on the support base and brings it down close to the load to be lifted. A lifting support, such as a seat or a sling, is secured around the the load and the lifting support coupled to the frame. The operator moves the lifting handles back to a home position, thereby lifting the load. The lifting handles and wheels allow the operator to guide the support device to a desired location, to lower a patient to a chair or a bed or to move a load to a new location.
