Abstract: The present application provides a dispensing carton for a number of sheet products therein. The dispensing carton may include a first wall, a dispensing aperture positioned in the first wall, a perpendicular second wall, and one or more support tabs positioned in the perpendicular second wall. The support tabs may be folded within the perpendicular second wall to support the number of sheet products therein.

Abstract: A vertical position and an entrance depth of a partitioning member are easily adjusted in accordance with the size of a tablet to be dispensed. Further, a rotor is easily demounted from a securement member fixed to a drive shaft. A side wall of a cassette body is formed with a plurality of slits, through which at least one elastic bristle penetrates, along a circumferential direction of the rotor. The slits extend in an axial direction of the rotor. A partitioning member is movable along the slit with the elastic bristle penetrating through the slit. When a cap is downwardly pressed, a pressing portion presses a flexible portion to thereby release the engagement between the flexible portion and an engagement portion and an elastic force of an arm portion urges a rotor upwardly.

Abstract: A method and system for identifying product is disclosed. A product identifier having product identifying information for one of a plurality of consumable products is provided. The product identifier is selected for a consumable product. The product identifier is displayed at or near a location on a dispensing system, or where access to the consumable product is provided. The system uses a product identifier having product and/or brand information for one or more consumable products. A window is provided in a body of a dispenser or dispensing system for viewing the product identifier associated with the consumable product therein.

Abstract: A package for containing a viscous substance in a transport configuration and for dispensing the viscous substance in a dispensing configuration is disclosed. The package includes first and second sheets disposed in opposing relation that are sealed together around a perimeter. The package has a compartment that defines a space for holding the viscous substance. The package further includes an integral tube having a first end in fluid communication with the compartment, and a second end that is closed in the transport configuration. The second end can be opened such that the viscous substance contained in the package can flow from the container, through the integral tube, and exit the package via the opening. The second end of the integral tube is positionable independent of the compartment for depositing the substance at multiple, spaced apart target locations without moving the compartment.

Abstract: A device for dispensing individual servings of a cold beverage, either having a refrigeration unit to chill the beverage or a removable pitcher that may be put in a refrigerator. A special disposable beverage cartridge or beverage pouch fits into the holder. This cartridge or pouch may have pressure rupturable seals or diaphragms and contain beverage concentrate. A dispensing mechanism puts pressure on the cartridge or the pouch to break the pressure rupturable seal or diaphragm to discharge the concentrate into a mixing structure. The mixing structure also receives chilled liquid from the refrigeration unit or the pitcher, and ensures that the concentrate mixes with the liquid without contacting the walls of the mixing structure.

Abstract: An interlocking mechanism for a fluid dispenser includes a container body and a top portion. The container body includes a first sidewall having a first slot therein and a second sidewall having a second slot therein. The top portion includes a first lock channel, a first magnet adjacent to the first lock channel, a second lock channel, and a second magnet adjacent to the second lock channel. A first sliding lock member is positioned within and slidable along the first lock channel. The first sliding lock member has a tip portion configured to engage and disengage with the first slot, and a base portion having a third magnet disposed therein.

Abstract: The invention disclosed herein is a floor finish dispensing apparatus. The apparatus defines a wheeled carriage mounted storage tank having a dispensing nozzle, a handle bar, and a control handle capable of controlling the flow rate of a liquid that is dispended from the storage tank. The apparatus is especially useful in efficiently and easily dispensing large quantities of floor finish such as Castlegaurd and Shurgloss 25 floor finishes at desired locations and in desired patterns such as elongated “puddle” finish patterns without overspray, finish splatter, finish waste, or user fatigue.

An intermediate wall divides an interior part of the dispensing device into the first chamber and the second chamber, the intermediate wall defining an edge. The intermediate wall is arranged in such a manner that an intermediate passage between the first chamber and the second chamber is defined at the edge for allowing powdered or granular product to pass between the first chamber and the second chamber. The intermediate wall further defines a second passage.

The system includes a strap for positioning adjacent a portion of a user's body, the strap having a first end and a second end. A plurality of hooks are connected to the main body and are each sized for receiving a portion of an item therein.

Abstract: A hand-retaining device, such as a hand strap that can be fastened to the hand or a glove, includes a movable loop between the thumb and the index finger portions, which is used for fixing the hand-retaining device to a hook-type mechanism of a pole grip. Such a hand-retaining device is suitable for use with a pole grip of walking canes, ski poles or the like, which are equipped with a grip member and a hook-type mechanism for attaching a hand-retaining device especially in the form of a hand strap or a glove. A locking mechanism is disposed in the area of the hook-type mechanism such that a loop-shaped, annular, or eye-shaped device that is provided on the hand-retaining device and is inserted into the hook-type mechanism from above is fixed in a self-locking manner in the hook-type mechanism.

Abstract: The Interchangable Scooter and Article Carrier System is a customizable system wherein a kick scooter can be releasably attached to an article carrier, forming a single reconfigurable device that can be used as either a kick scooter or an article carrier. The user can ride the device as a scooter with simultaneous support of the article carrier, or the user can carry the device as an article carrier with simultaneous storage of the scooter. The system utilizes a releasable connection between a rigid frame, attached to a walled container, and a scooter bracket, attached to a portion of the scooter. The scooter bracket is of a multi-part construction so as to be installed on pre-existing commercially available scooters. A deflective interaction between the rigid frame and clamps of the scooter steering assembly creates a selective lock which can maintain the steering position of a front wheel or wheels.

A length of the connecting member between the top section of the clamp member and the bottom section of the clamp member is adjustable. The top section includes at least one receiving member, and the bottom section includes at least one receiving member. The mounting component includes a plurality of receiving members. Each mounting member is configured to engage the mounting hole of the clamp end portion and a mounting hole of the mounting component.

Abstract: A support bracket fits and properly supports the saddlebags of the Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail leather saddlebags. The support bracket can be made from a solid steel material to provide bag-specific foundational support members in key areas while allowing the bag to function as originally designed. The support bracket utilized specially designed T-bar supports and an outer lid support rail to uniquely and positively reach up underneath the original and existing leather folds designed into every factory Heritage bag. The support bracket can install quickly, typically within 10 minutes or less. The support bracket requires no motorcycle or saddlebag alterations, no glues, and no product assembly. The support bracket utilizes T-bars at the front and rear ends thereof, along with an outside lid support rail to positively and solidly, yet discretely, contact with parts of the existing and unaltered saddlebag which are outside of view once the lid is closed.

The holder apparatus is mountable and dismountable from an airplane cabin window frame assembly utilizing preexisting window shade U-shaped slide channels located within an airplane cabin window frame assembly. Each holder apparatus is comprised of one or more receptacles, with optional attachable upper ends, where each receptacle and/or upper end has an opening for receiving a beverage container or other objects. The various holder apparatus embodiments provide for selective holder apparatus utilization based on the number of receptacles and proximity of an airplane cabin window to the location of a passenger window seat.

Abstract: A vehicle-mountable bicycle carrier includes a linkage device for mounting the carrier to a vehicle, a base portion or platform to support both wheels of a bicycle, and an arm assembly connected to the base portion. The arm assembly may include a mast member and a jaw member. The jaw member may have a mounting portion received on the mast member and a hook portion attached to the mounting portion and configured to engage a bicycle frame and/or a top portion of a bicycle wheel. The jaw member may have a released configuration where the jaw member, as a unit, is pivotable about and slidable up and down the mast member while the mounting portion remains on the mast member.

The bike carrier includes a first adjustable member that is adjustable to a plurality of positions and a second member that is pivotally secured to the first member. The second member is also adjustable to a plurality of positions independent of the fixed positions of said first member. The bike carrier includes at least one mount rail secured to the first and second members. The mount rail is capable of carrying a bicycle.

Abstract: A bicycle-carrier device includes a brace for connection to the frame of a vehicle, and bearing supporting elements to support one or more bicycles oriented transversely relative to the vehicle. The brace consists of a transverse bar, and the bicycles are supported by at least first and second supporting elements affixed to the bar, in positions that can be adjusted along the bar, so as to receive and support from below the two wheels of a bicycle. Mounted on the bar in an articulated manner is an arm that can be shifted between a raised operating position and a lowered non-operating position. Secured to the bar in an adjustable manner is at least one third supporting element that receives and supports from below an element of a bicycle frame. Each of the supporting elements is provided with means for locking in place the part that is received.

The quick assembly kit comprises track rails upon which catch brackets are slideably engaged adjust to the width of any litter or stretcher having stirrups. Abstract: The present invention involves the provision of a backpack frame assembly and associated load carrying devices. The backpack frame includes a plurality of stays having flexible joints therebetween. A membrane is secured to certain of the stays and helps resist flexing of joints between adjacent stay end portions. Load carrying devices may be provided and are releasably mounted to the frame assembly. The distance between the assembly's shoulder straps and hip belt can be adjusted to accommodate user's having different torso lengths by using an adjuster sheet to separate hook and look members attaching a shoulder strap assembly to a frame assembly. The adjuster sheet can operate as a support element when not operating as an adjuster. The adjuster sheet can be constructed of a laminated composite material and include reinforcing ribs formed therein.

Abstract: A transfer and dispensing apparatus is disclosed for the conveying and separation of packaging material, cushions or pillows when needed by the operator. When a packer working over a conveyor receives a box that requires void fill, an operating switch such as a foot pedal is depressed to dispense pillows from the apparatus and into the box in a connected strip. When the operating switch is released, the apparatus stops dispensing pillows, separates the continuous strip of pillows along a transverse perforation in the strip, and ejects the end of the separated segment. The packer can then complete packing the box by placing the severed end of the pillows into the box, advance to the next box, and repeat the process. The transfer and dispensing apparatus may be positioned in any convenient location including adjacent to, above or attached to the inflation device.

Optical reading cells (11a, 11b, 12a, 12b) define the operating modes of the driving servomotors (13b and 14b) and of the linear actuator (17).

Abstract: A trigger assembly for switching one shoot mode or repeat shoot mode includes a trigger, a switch, a fixing element, a trigger plate and a torsion spring. When a user wants to switch the shoot modes of the nail gun, the user turns the switch so that the fixing element moves along the curved track of the switch and the fixing element drives the trigger plate to move on a protrusion or on a through hole simultaneously. After the user presses the trigger, the trigger plate is resisted by the protrusion so that the nail gun is in one shoot mode. In addition, when the trigger plate is vibrating on the through hole, the nail gun is in repeat shoot mode.

In some versions, the buttress contains a two-part fluid adhesive where two fluid materials form a fluid adhesive when combined. In some versions, the buttress is configured to be compressed by the surgical instrument thereby pressurizing a portion of the buttress. Thereafter, the buttress may be severed and the pressurized region may be operable to urge the fluid adhesive to a tissue site.

Abstract: An apparatus for endosurgical use includes an instrument having an end effector and a staple cartridge insertable into the end effector. The staple cartridge includes staples, staple apertures, a resistive member, and a medical fluid. When coupled to a power source, the medical fluid is vaporized by the resistive member and expelled out the staple apertures onto the stapled tissue. The power source may be contained within the instrument. In one configuration, a resistive strip with strip contacts may electrically couple to a conductor in the end effector. The medical fluid may also be divided into a plurality of sealant pads corresponding to the staple apertures, and the medical fluid may be a depolymerizable cyanoacrylate, a sprayable thermoplastic urethane, or any vaporizable medicament or pharmaceutical. The staple drivers may include one or more apertures to permit the medical fluid to pass through or around the staple drivers.

Abstract: A surgical instrument includes a handle portion, a shaft housing a firing bar, an end effector comprising an anvil, a lower jaw, and a stapling and severing assembly responsive to a longitudinal closing motion produced by the handle portion and the shaft. The cartridge includes a housing, a plurality of staples disposed in the housing, and a deck disposed over the plurality of staples. The deck defines apertures, with each aperture being substantially disposed over each staple. The instrument includes a movable buttress that is integral with the housing of the cartridge or integral with the lower jaw of the end effector. The buttress may attach to the anvil and include a portion to receive tissue. The receipt of tissue urges and moves the buttress proximally inwards to further encompass the tissue.

In order for the components to have a desired orientation with respect to one another after the welding operation that corresponds to the orientation prior to the welding operation, according to the invention the components, prior to applying the ultrasonic vibrations for welding the same together, are deformed by means of at least one projection that projects from the tool and/or the counter-holder beyond the respective working surface using the application of force such that a translatable and rotatable relative movement is suppressed, or substantially suppressed, between the components and that the welding operation is carried out after the deformation.

Abstract: A method for scanning and decoding encoded symbols comprises processing low resolution image data from a full field of view and/or high resolution image data from one or more windowed segments of the field of view to provide imaging that is easily adaptable to different types of symbols and varying environmental conditions. The scanning method can be switched between the low resolution mode and the high resolution mode automatically based on whether the low resolution data is sufficiently accurate to decode the symbol.
