Abstract: An outboard motor includes a cooling water passage that guides cooling water to cool an exhaust passage and a cylinder unit. A cooling water intake port draws external cooling water into the cooling water passage. A water pump draws cooling water into the cooling water intake port and supplies the cooling water to the cooling water passage. A thermostat is arranged in the cooling water passage downstream of the catalytic converter and the cylinder unit. A first bypass passage is connected to a first connecting section provided on the cooling water passage. The first connecting section is provided along the cooling water passage at a position farther downstream than the catalytic converter and farther upstream than the thermostat.

Abstract: A substrate has a surface printed with an ink or coating composition with excellent adhesion and dry rub resistance, and very good oil and saline rub resistance (crock) properties using a multi-functional carbodiimide as a crosslinker for nonwoven substrates. The rub performance of the ink or coating printed on a nonwoven substrate has been found to be superior to that of a first Sun benchmark ink including pigments for four color printing. In another embodiment, a carbodiimide crosslinker such as multifunctional Carbodilite SV-02 is added to the compositions to further improve rub resistance (crock) and retain liquid characteristics post inoculation when compared to compositions using aziridine as a crosslinker. In a further embodiment, a thin polyolefin film exemplifying a backsheet of a hygiene product was printed with the same crosslinked ink or coating composition and compared with a second Sun benchmark set of inks.

Abstract: The present invention discloses films, papers, and fabrics (both woven and non-woven) that are more receptive to inks or dyes. These ink/dye receptive products are made by coating the surface of the film, paper, or fabric with certain acrylate polymers. These ink/dye receptive films, papers and fabrics have the ability to then be used in making laminated and coated products. The subject invention more specifically discloses an ink/dye receptive film which is comprised of a base film which is coated with an acrylate polymer, comprised of 1 weight percent to 20 weight percent repeat units of at least one unsaturated aliphatic olefin monomer containing from 4 to 30 carbon atoms.

Abstract: Disclosed is a carbon fiber composite comprising 30 to 80 wt % of a carbon fiber textile wherein a carbon fiber tow size is 24K to 100K; 0.1 to 20 wt % of a carbon non-woven fabric whose weight per unit area is 10˜500 g/m2; and 10 to 70 wt % of a polymer resin whose viscosity at transference thereof is 0.01˜10 Pa·s. Advantageously, it is possible to obtain a molded product of the carbon fiber composite which has good surface properties and flexural properties by selectively applying the carbon non-woven fabric to a surface of the material thereof using the carbon fiber composite.

Abstract: A flame resistant fiber blend includes a plurality of modacrylic flame resistant fibers comprising a first weight percentage of the fiber blend; a plurality of non-flame resistant hydrophilic/absorbent fibers comprising a second weight percentage of the fiber blend, wherein the second weight percentage is greater than the first weight percentage; and a plurality of second flame resistant fibers comprising a third weight percentage of the fiber blend. In one implementation, the fiber blend includes 20 wt % to 45 wt % of modacrylic flame resistant fibers; 40 wt % to 75 wt % of hydrophilic/absorbent fibers; and 5 wt % to 30 wt % of second flame resistant fibers. The flame resistant fiber blend is used to form flame resistant yarns, fabrics, and garments formed thereof.

By replacing one set of replaceable rim pieces with another, a user can quickly and easily change the yo-yo's shape, look and/or functionality. To remove a rim piece, one first removes a lock ring that is secured to the rim piece and blocks a number of openings that lead to grooves in a center-located hub. Next, one employs a twisting movement of the rim piece to cause a number of tabs attached to the rim piece to slide in the hub's grooves until the tabs are aligned with the openings. The lower opening on the vertical downpipe is simply attached atop the open vent pipe. Preferably the pipe joint is made of PVC which is also the typical material of the vent pipe. A rigid PVC mosquito screening is used, which is bonded or sealed to the retrofit cap covering the pipe joint section. A robust material as opposed to a softer fabric screen is preferable to keep out bats or the beaks of birds attracted to hovering mosquitoes near the openings. The vertical orientation of the two vent holes helps keep debris from accumulating to clog the screened openings.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cognitive SIMO network access method based on cooperative relay, wherein a cognitive base station collects channel responses in a network and judges whether the cognitive users can cooperate with a primary user to achieve the target transmission rate required by the primary user or not, if so, a cognitive SIMO network is accessible to a frequency band licensed to the primary user; otherwise, the cognitive SIMO network is non-accessible. The access method can enable a plurality of the cognitive users and the primary user to simultaneously use the same licensed spectrum in the same geographical position, on the premise of ensuring the target transmission rate of the primary user, and further improve the utilization efficiency of the spectrum as far as possible.
