Abstract: In a situation where a conventional inductive throttle sensor is used with a motor-driven throttle valve device to detect the rotation angle of a throttle shaft, plural sensor connection conductor sections for connecting a connector terminal to a circuit board terminal section are formed on the cover on one lateral surface side of a circuit board in the long-axis direction. This increases the dimension of the cover in the short-axis direction (the dimension in the direction of air flow in an intake path). Consequently, it is difficult to install the motor-driven throttle valve device and inductive throttle sensor in a narrow engine room. This problem is addressed by using a separate member to achieve electrical conduction between a stator circuit board and a conductor routed inside the cover installed over the stator circuit board in a concentrated manner on one side of the circuit board.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for generating sufficient vacuum to enable a leak detection routine. While a fuel tank pressure is within mechanical limits, fuel vapors are purged from a canister to an engine with an isolation valve open to generate a desired level of vacuum in the fuel tank. Thereafter, the fuel tank is isolated and leak detection is performed concurrent to the purging.

Abstract: Presented vaporizer is a hollow container that houses a circular metallic coil. The coil has an inlet and outlet. The container has one opening serving inlet/outlet as one. This apparatus is designated for the use with internal combustion engines. The engine's coolant is admitted to the container, while fuel passes through the metallic coil located inside the container. After initial start of the engine we witnessed rise of temperature of the engine coolant and in effect expansion of the fuel passing though the coil. Doing so, the pressure in the fuel line increases significantly. In effect the fixed speed setting for fuel pump could be reduced. Flow of the fuel through the fuel vaporizer is administrated by the mean of motor speed control switch connected to the fuel pump. In summary, this device vaporizes petroleum fuel—each in effect dramatically increased efficiency and effectively reduced the emission of CO2.

Abstract: The invention relates to an ignition device for triggering an ignition spark at a spark plug by way of an ignition generator. The latter includes a magnet wheel, which has two permanent magnets arranged at a spacing from each other in the peripheral direction and a magnetic yoke. The magnetic yoke carries a charging coil which charges an ignition capacitor, a primary coil and a secondary coil, connected, to the spark plug. During every passing of a permanent magnet, a voltage is induced in the coils, wherein, in order to trigger the ignition spark, the ignition capacitor is discharged via a switch element. In order to avoid an unwanted ignition at the bottom dead center of the piston, a device for reducing the voltage that occurs at the spark plug is provided.

In one aspect of the invention, a handle grip configured with brace rod receivers at opposing ends of the handle grip is detachably joined with brace rods connected to the bridged handle. The handle grip may then be selectably positioned along the brace rods and the distance between the handle grip portion and the bow string may be adjusted to accommodate different draw lengths and grip angles of various archers. In another embodiment, an end of the handle grip comprises a slotted aperture configured to accommodate a brace rod receiver so that the brace rod receiver may be fastened at various positions along the slotted aperture changing the angle of the handle grip relative to the brace rod receiver.

Abstract: A toy projectile launcher includes a body having a magazine for storing at least one cylindrical projectile. The body has an elongate barrel in communication with the magazine. The barrel is shaped for travel of the projectile from the magazine to an exit end. The barrel has an intermediate opening between the magazine and the exit end. A drive wheel is powered by a motor to spin about an axis of rotation. The drive wheel can be coupled to the body by a drive wheel biasing member. The drive wheel intrudes into the barrel though the intermediate opening to contact and propel the projectile down the barrel. The drive wheel can include a resilient part. The axis of rotation of the drive wheel can deviate from being perpendicular to the length of the barrel by a predetermined angle selected to impart spin to the projectile.

Abstract: This invention provides a portable combustion device that provides a cleaner combustion, reduces the kindling period, and provides a more efficient overall combustion through the use of a fan that directs a predetermined volume of airflow over the combustible fuel—typically wood or similar cellulose-based biological solids. The combustion device has a combustion chamber with a fuel source. A housing encloses the TEG on the side of the device that generates an electrical output based on a temperature differential between opposing TEG sides. A heat-conducting probe is mounted to the TEG and protrudes into the combustion chamber. The opposing TEG side contacts a heat sink that interacts with ambient air. A fan draws heated air away the heat sink, and forces the air onto the combusting fuel through a plurality of peripheral ports that connect with an air space located between inner and outer walls of the combustion chamber.
