Abstract: A sealing and drainage device for a motor vehicle transmission is located in a wall approximately near the bottom of the transmission housing and includes a ball and a plate that encloses the ball in a bore through the housing wall. The plate has an opening on which the ball sits under normal operating conditions. During unexpected flooding conditions, water flows through the opening into the bore. The ball floats on the water such that as the water rises in the bore, the ball rises as well to the top of the bore to seal the bore from the interior of the housing, preventing water from flowing into the housing.

Abstract: A structural improvement of a water drainer in a cistern is disclosed. The water drainer has a draining part which has a moving module inside. The moving module has a central hole, in addition, has an upper float-ball and a lower float-ball at inner space to match the upper slot and the lower slot which both are set up on the draining part. Furthermore, an outer convex ring set on a rubber module is fixed into the draining hole on the bottom of the cistern, and an outer convex ring on the cylinder at the lower portion of the draining part is inserted into the hole of the rubber module, meanwhile the latch of the cylinder is hooked onto the bottom of the rubber module to make the water drainer be fixed. With the structural improvement, a purpose of two-stage water draining can be achieved.

Abstract: A valve member having a valve part and a piston part is accommodated in a piston accommodation cylinder part of a case reciprocatably, and a damper chamber that is substantially a sealed space is formed in an anti-valve seat side in the valve member so that fluid flows without flowing via the damper chamber. Accordingly, since the fluid does not pass through the damper chamber, a fluid force that occurs in the piston part due to a fluid flow does not change easily, thus it becomes difficult to increase hunting at the valve members. Moreover, in a vibrational component in the valve member reciprocating direction of the valve members, amplitude of the vibration can be decreased by a damping force generated in the damper chamber.

Abstract: A drive mechanism for back pressure regulator used in liquid chromatography, supercritical fluid chromatography, or supercritical fluid extraction allows very fine automated control over a very wide range of pressures by combining a linear actuator compressing a spring, pushing a pin. The nozzle assembly of the regulator comprises a flow through chamber containing a diaphragm and a seat, in which the pin pushes the diaphragm against the seat, together with an upstream pressure sensor and electronic feedback control to the motor of the actuator. The BPR of the embodiments exhibits high pressure stability and extremely low pressure noise, even at moderate to high pressures. The exemplary BPR can be use at either constant pressure or to generate pressure programs where the pressure is varied versus time. Further, the nozzle assembly has a field-replaceable head, requiring no mechanical adjustment on replacement.

Abstract: A urea-water pump device for an exhaust gas cleaner includes a pump, a motor, a temperature detection portion, a setting portion, and a changing portion. The pump is accommodated in a tank and supplies urea-water stored in the tank. The motor drives the pump. The temperature detection portion directly or indirectly detects a temperature of the urea-water stored in the tank. The setting portion sets an upper-limit-value of a current supplied to the motor. The changing portion changes the upper-limit-value of the current supplied to the motor, based on the temperature of the urea-water detected by the temperature detection portion.
