Abstract: At a timing at which a music playing operation is made by way of a music playing member, it is determined whether the position coordinates of the music playing member belong to any of a plurality of regions arranged on a virtual plane based on layout information store in memory, and in a case of having determined as belonging to the region, it is determined whether the pitch angle of the music playing member detected by way of a pitch angle sensor belongs to the pitch angle range corresponding to the region, and in the case of having determined as belonging to the pitch angle range corresponding to the region, the generation of a sound of a musical note corresponding to the region is instructed.

Abstract: A CPU (31) of a musical instrument (1) calculates distances between central positions of a plurality of virtual pads (81) and a position of a marker unit (15), by making adjustment such that a distance is shorter as a size associated with the virtual pad (81) is larger. The CPU 31 identifies a virtual pad (81) corresponding to the shortest distance among the distances calculated, as a virtual pad (81) for outputting sound. The CPU (31) identifies a tone corresponding to the virtual pad (81) for outputting sound by referring to set layout information.

Abstract: A performance apparatus prevents a player's unintentional motion from being detected as a playing, thereby generating no sound, when the player plays a virtual musical instrument. The performance apparatus has a player operated stick, a ROM for storing layout information, which correlates plural areas set on a pickup-image plane to tone colors, respectively, an image sensor for continuously taking pickup images of a subject including the stick, and a CPU 21 for calculating a difference image between a first pickup image and a second pickup image taken prior to the first pickup image and for detecting an operating position of the stick based on the difference image. A CPU 31 refers to the ROM to specify a tone color correlated to the area corresponding to the operating position detected by CPU 21, and a sound source generates a tone of the tone color specified by CPU 31.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a musical performance device capable of changing layout information, such as information regarding the arrangement of a virtual musical instrument set, by an intuitive operation. In the present invention, when position coordinates detected at a shot timing are within one of the areas of a plurality of virtual pads, a CPU designates a virtual pad in this area as a target of positional change. Then, the CPU determines a position where the virtual pad designated as a target of positional change is placed by this positional change, based on position coordinates detected at shot timings, and changes the position of the virtual pad designated as a target of positional change to the determined position.

Abstract: A first contact and a second contact are provided at each of a plurality of keys, and are successively closed in accordance with a key press operation. On the basis of respective closed sense signals from the first contact and the second contact, a duration from when the first contact is closed until the second contact is closed is counted as a first count value and then a duration after this counting has ended is counted as a second count value. An attainment duration value and the second count value are compared, and when a predetermined condition is satisfied, a control signal is outputted. When this control signal is received, sound emission information instructing an emission of a sound by a sound emission controller is sent. The sound emission information includes touch information based on the first count value.

Abstract: A cylindrical travel mug or container with or without a handle and drinking top/lid, lower tea compartment housing with one or more mesh screens, and removable bottom. The removable bottom is comprised of a threaded base bap, rubber seal, conical tea compartment for retaining a tea bag and an on/off control knob. The tea compartment is connected to the base with a press release that allows it to swing open against an opposing hinge from the release so a tea bag can be inserted or removed. The conical tea compartment is further comprised of one or more mesh openings through which liquid and tea may be transferred. An on/off control switch is used to rotate the tea compartment and its mesh screens with respect to the tea compartment housing and its mesh screens to enable control of the starting and stopping of tea infusion or steeping.

Abstract: A matchbox oven is disclosed. The matchbox oven includes a housing, a slider, a mover, a heat source and a blower. The housing includes a cavity having two openings. The mover moves the slider in and out of the cavity through the two openings. The heat source provides heat to the cavity for heating up any food item placed within the cavity. The slider includes multiple stoppers to serve as oven covers for preventing heat within the cavity from escaping through the two openings. The slider can also be utilized as a heat sink for lowering the cavity's temperature during oven operation. When a new cook temperature is substantially lower than the temperature of the cavity, the blower forces heated air within the cavity to exit through the two openings before the starting of and/or during the initial portion of a new cook cycle.

Abstract: An improved tortilla conveying system, for sequentially conveying a plurality of tortillas to be warmed, is disclosed. The conveying system provides a stack of tortillas and automatically conveys tortillas sequentially through a tortilla warmer. The tortillas are stored in a container. A dragger at least frictionally engages the top side of the top tortilla, dragging the tortilla off of the top of the container for subsequent heating by a heating element of the tortilla warmer. In some embodiments, the tortilla container can automatically elevate the stack of tortillas, so a top tortilla always remains exposed at the top of the container. In other embodiments, an extractor delivers the tortilla outside of the heating system once the tortilla is sufficiently warmed. The tortillas are warmed in sequence by a heating element, via conduction, convection, and/or radiation. In some embodiments, various components of the conveyer are synchronized, via a gearbox for example.

Abstract: A baler with a pickup and a baling chamber with an inlet, the bale forming chamber having a first and second side panel, a plurality rollers rotatably disposed respectively about parallel axes. A bale edge engaging member is rotatably attached to the frame about an axis of rotation substantially parallel to said axes of the rollers, the bale edge engaging member being disposed adjacent an inside portion of one of the side panels in overlapping arrangement with a bale being formed in the baling chamber at least at times when a bale is being formed. The bale edge engaging member is spaced from the inlet to the bale forming chamber so as to not impede material entering the bale forming chamber from a pickup. Alternate embodiments have the rotatable bale edge engaging member/disc on a fixed axis adjacent the baling chamber when the bale is almost completed.

Abstract: The present invention provides an anti-counterfeit printing material with a hot stamping texture, a special hot stamping foil and a manufacturing method for the same. The method comprises the steps of: randomly throwing fibers onto a foil printed with an adhesive to form a hot stamping foil; scanning and collecting characteristic information about the random distribution of fibers; and storing the characteristic information in a database of a computer anti-counterfeit inquiry system connected to a telephone network and/or Internet, for public inspection and verification of authenticity. With existing hot stamping processes and equipment, a printing material manufacturer can produce an anti-counterfeit printing material with a local texture in the background by means of hot stamping with hot stamping foils. The present invention saves huge investment in special equipment, simplify production process, increase production efficiency, reduce production costs.
