Abstract: A retainer lens of shape and dimensions configured to be releasably secured in the front opening of a face plate or helmet has a window opening configured for positioning in front of the eyes of a wearer of the face plate or helmet. An outer protective cover is configured to be secured over the window opening by means of scrap-book like frame corners located on the front surface of the retainer lens and spaced outwardly from respective corners of the window opening. The corners of the outer protective cover are releasably engaged with respective frame corners, so that the cover can be removed from the outside of the face plate as needed for replacement with a new outer protective cover, simply by removing the corners of the current outer protective cover from the respective frame corners, and then engaging a new outer protective cover into the frame corners.

The vented zones may extend along a center back portion and/or along at least one side portion of the garment structure.

The pump is operable to inflate the membranes to provide a secure fit between the boot sections of the wader pants and the feet and/or ankles of the individual.

The closed perimeter wall includes a first portion with opposed inner and outer surfaces each having the shape of a frustum, and a second portion with opposed inner and outer surfaces each also having the shape of a frustum. These inner surfaces are interconnected through relatively radially wider ends of their respective frustums to define an inner angle therebetween of less than 180 degrees. These outer surfaces are interconnected through relatively radially wider ends of their respective frustums to define an outer angle therebetween of greater than 180 degrees.

Abstract: Secondary energy absorbing helmet underwear is to be worn by a user under a primary rigid hard hat, sports helmet or military helmet. The helmet underwear includes an integral self elasticized stretchable material that includes a three-dimensional structure that is generally of semi-spherical shape to fit about the users head and that includes an optional peripheral stretchable stretch band that provides a means for retaining the helmet underwear in place on the users head. The stretchable material and core includes front and rear layers that are each formed as a knitted layer and interconnecting yarns that interconnect between the front and rear layers and define a predetermined spacing between the front and rear layers. The interconnecting yarns, in combination with the layers provide a safety barrier between the rigid hat and the user's head.

Abstract: A soft helmet for wear under a hat is described. The soft helmet may have a plurality of inserts configured to fit into pockets on the interior of the soft helmet. The inserts may be placed so as to cover a majority of a wearer's head. To provide protection, the inserts have a top portion that may be a rigid material and a bottom portion that may be an elastomeric material. The soft helmet may not be readably noticeable to viewers of a wearer using the soft helmet. In another embodiment, the soft helmet may be utilized as a standalone hat. The hat may appear to be a normal beanie or baseball cap.

Abstract: This improved version of the Hard Hat Cushioning Device is more universal and can be used with virtually any hard hat, construction hat, bump cap, and similar hats designed for protection. The device allows the hat to fit more comfortably and securely and helps to prevent hair breakage while maintaining its decorative style. The cushioning effect reduces the restriction of blood flow to the scalp. The newly added air vents, and specific cotton outer material and inside batting material, improves air flow and circulation, making the hat more comfortable to wear while allowing warm air and perspiration to escape. These new improvements increase the ability of the cushioning device to act as a sweat band. Allowing air flow from inside the hat to the outside allowing for decreased temperature of the overall hat itself.

Abstract: An energy diffusing helmet assembly includes an outer hard shell and an inner fluid filled bladder. The hard shell defines a head cavity into which a head of a wearer is inserted. The fluid filled bladder is positioned within the outer hard shell. There is further provided a fluid filled impact dispersal field mounted on a torso of the wearer. A connective conduit connects the fluid filled bladder and the impact dispersal field. A force of impact exerted upon the fluid filled bladder increases pressure in the impact dispersal field through fluid via the connective conduit.

Abstract: The present invention provides a protective sports helmet for a wearer engaged in a contact sport, such as football. The helmet includes a shell having a front region, a rear region, two side regions, and an ear flap depending from a side region. A jaw flap extends forwardly from each ear flap, wherein the jaw flap overlies an extent of a mandible of the wearer. The shell also includes a raised central band that extends from the front region across the crown to the rear region. The central band has lower side portions that extend from the rear region towards the side region of the shell and terminate proximate an ear opening in the shell. The central band has a width defined by a pair of opposed sidewalls that extend transversely from an outer surface of the shell. The shell also includes a first plurality of vent openings aligned along a first side of the raised central band and a second plurality of vent openings aligned along a second side of the band.

Abstract: A helmet having a chin bar fastened at two points on each side of the shell. The shell is molded with recessed portions designed to receive the two branches of the chin bar on each side where they will be fastened to the shell so that the outer surfaces of the chin guard are flush with the shell at the locations of attachment to provide a smooth transition and reduce weight. An adjustment device to adjust the fit of the helmet to the user includes a star wheel on each side of the helmet attached to an arcuate flexible strip extending rearwardly around the occipital area of the skull. A sliding mechanism attached to the strip allows the strip to be moved forward and backward to allow it to be tightened or loosened, respectively, with respect to the player's head. A ratcheting lateral adjustment device is also disclosed.

This invention embodies three portions, a permeable elastic portion on the middle of the foot, from the middle, top of the foot and toes of the foot, a fabric that consist of different types of stretchable or durable fabric materials. The TSG may also have extra coating on extra pressure point areas such as leather, rubber, silicone, or other protective materials depending on the market demand.

The protector includes an upper arm protector portion, a lower arm protector portion, and a protective arm hinge overlying a gap between the upper and lower arm protector portions. The arm hinge includes a forward-facing floater pad, a medial extension, and a lateral extension. The medial and lateral extensions are slidably coupled to at least one of the upper and lower arm protector portions to guide forward movement of the floater pad during rotation of the lower arm protector portion toward the upper arm protector portion, and to guide rearward movement of the floater pad during rotation of the lower arm protector portion away from the upper arm protector portion. The arm protector can form part of a goaltender chest protector to provide an integrated system allowing fluid movement of the wearer's arm with enhanced protection to the elbow region.

Abstract: The abdominal shield is worn by an angler when fishing to prevent injury and irritation to the abdomen which might otherwise be caused by the butt end of a fishing rod rubbing or pressing against the abdomen. The shield distributes forces associated by the butt end of the fishing rod more widely and permits the angler to adjust the position of the fishing rod to achieve the leverage necessary to reel in the fish.

The apparatus includes a stopper component for controlling drain flow out of a basin and a filtering component for ensnaring foreign matter and debris. The filtering component includes a plurality of levels, each level configured to entrap foreign matter and enable fluid flow therepast. The levels include a plurality of openings and a plurality of spicule members adapted to contact an inner drain surface.

A monolithic sealing gasket, preferably of injection molded silicone rubber or other polymeric material, closely fits around the outer perimeter of the closure faceplate sidewalls. In use, rotation of the vertical bolt causes the claw member to rise up the bolt to engage an underside of the countertop, and in a lower disengaged position the claw member is free to turn about a vertical axis into a retracted position wherein the claw member lies constrained under the flange to permit insertion of the sink unit into the countertop opening. The guide member ensures that as the claw member rises up the bolt the claw member turns about the vertical axis into a constrained outwardly extended position for engagement with the underside of the countertop.

Some of the markings can be used to measure distances as some of the markings are a predetermine distance apart.

The present invention has an advantageous effect of removing allergens including house dust mites, animal hair and pollens efficiently. In addition, if the house dust mites are killed by using steam, energy efficiency is high and an effect of mite-killing is great.
