Abstract: A polychloroprene-free wetsuit and material is described that uses closed cell thermoplastic elastomer foam. Depending on the wetsuit application, the density of the closed cell thermoplastic elastomer foam may vary. In many wetsuit applications low densities such as less than 0.25 grams/cubic centimeter and preferably 0.10 to 0.20 grams/cubic centimeter are desirable.

Abstract: A polychloroprene-free wetsuit and material is described consisting of a class of copolymers or a physical mix of polymers consisting of materials with both thermoplastic and elastomeric properties to produce thermoplastic resin pellets. The non-toxic thermoplastic resin pellets are mixed with additives and a blowing agent to produce thermoplastic elastomer closed-cell foam for use in wetsuits. Depending on the wetsuit application, the density of the thermoplastic elastomer foam may vary. Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for supporting an arm of a user that includes a harness configured to be worn by the user, and an arm support coupled to the harness and including an arm rest to support an arm of the user. The arm support is configured to accommodate and follow movement of the arm without substantially interfering in such movement. The arm support may at least partially offset a gravitational force acting on the arm as the user moves and the arm support follows the movement of the user's arm. For example, the arm support may transfer at least a portion of the weight of the user's arm to the torso or other region of the user's body and/or may apply an opposing force to at least partially offset the gravitational force acting on the arm.

Abstract: The invention generally provides a welder's glove including a back side and a palm side constructed from a thermal-resistant material and defining a cavity therebetween including finger portions, a thumb portion, and a palm portion; at least one element on the back side and extending outward from the back side, the element being constructed of a protective material; and at least one pad formed on the palm side and covering a portion thereof, the pad being constructed of a thermal-resistant high grip material.

Abstract: A magnetic clip provides a quick and easy method to attach an electronic device's cord to a user's clothing. The magnetic clip allows a user to create a fully customized cord management system, based upon their specific needs and/or preferences. The cord management system can include a tether to join a magnetic disk with a magnetic clip. The magnetic disk and magnetic clip can be disposed on opposite sides of a garment to position the magnetic clip securely on the user's garment, regardless of how slippery or form fitting the garment's material may be. A garment can have integrated magnetic disks, where the magnetic clip can attach.

Abstract: A bunting bag for children, where the bunting bag for children comprises a main part which is designed to be connected to a bottom part by means of a zipper, and a hood-shaped part containing an adjusting device. The bunting bag is opened and closed by means of a central closing and opening device, where the main part is provided on each side edge with a wind flap extending along the side edge and a lower wind flap extending round the main part's circumference, which wind flaps interact with a wind flap provided in the bottom part, forming a wind flap on an inner and outer side of the closing and opening device and the zipper, in order thereby to prevent through-flow of air through them.

Abstract: A glove for use with a capacitive touchscreen includes a shell and a lining. The shell has a plurality of fingertips such that at least one of the fingertips includes a conductive embroidery on a distal portion of the fingertip. The lining includes a plurality of fingertips corresponding to the fingertips of the shell. At least one of the fingertips of the lining includes a conductive embroidery on a distal portion of the fingertip. The lining is positioned within the shell such that the conductive embroidery of the lining is adjacent to the conductive embroidery of the shell.

My “Slotted Fastener” will not disengage and will not damage the wearer's clothing because the wearer's belt slides through both the belt loop on the pants and through the slotted suspender fastener. The slot on the “Slotted Fastener” allows the belt loop to be caught by the belt passing through it.

In operation the device attaches to a garment and pulls the garment vertically in accordance with gravity.

The spur gear is disposed in simultaneous operative engagement with the first pinion rack and the second pinion rack, and the housing at least partially encloses the first and second headband elements. During operation of the adjustment mechanism, rotation of the worm about the axis of rotation causes the first headband element and the second headband element to translate in opposite directions with respect to the worm, thereby adjusting a fit of the headgear.

Abstract: A belt apparatus is configured to support the trousers worn by a person and to include a number of airbags that are deployable in a falling event to protect the person from bone breakages. The belt apparatus includes a flexible belt element and a fastener that appear and function in much the same way as an ordinary trouser belt, i.e., fitting through belt loops in trousers and being fastenable to itself to support the pair of trousers at the waist of the user. Despite the ordinary appearance of the belt apparatus, it includes one or more airbags internal thereto whose expansion is controlled by a control apparatus. The fluid conditioning system is a fluid destination for fluid discharged from the impeller module and also conveys the discharged fluid to the fluidizable medium. A coolant flowpath for the motor module exhausts coolant to a coolant destination which differs from the fluid destination. A method of heat management comprises directing a stream of fluidizing medium to the fluidizable medium, urging a stream of coolant to flow past the motor, and proportioning the coolant stream downstream of the motor between first and second coolant destinations as a function of temperature of the fluidizable medium.

Abstract: A bedding skirt is configured to be rapidly inserted upon a mattress frame. The bedding skirt includes a front panel sufficiently long to hang from the mattress frame to ground. Abstract: A swaddle blanket according to one embodiment includes a body having a top end and a bottom end. The blanket includes a pocket disposed at the bottom end and configured to enclose an infant's legs. The swaddle blanket also includes a first side configured to wrap over the infant in a first direction and a second side configured to wrap over the infant and the first side in a second direction. The first side is secured in place over the pocket and the second side is secured in place over the first side. The pocket includes a fastener and is positionable between an open position in which the fastener is open and a closed position in which the fastener is closed, the open position of the pocket permitting insertion of the infant's legs therein.

Abstract: Infant swaddling allows an infant to be comfortably and easily swaddled. The swaddling includes a pouch featuring a lower end that can be opened and closed to allow an infant's soiled diaper to be easily removed and replaced or to take a rectal temperature. The swaddling can include a blanket that comprises a first blanket flap and a second blanket flap and that can be removably attached to the pouch. The swaddle is used by placing one of the blanket flaps over the pouch, and then placing the other blanket flap over the pouch.

Abstract: A patient positioning system employs an arm having a first portion and a second portion which is telescopic relative to the first portion. A first positioning device may be coupled to the first portion of the arm providing support for the arm. The first positioning device is rotatable on a first axis, allowing the arm to rotate with the first positioning device. The second positioning device is coupled to the second portion of the arm and movable with the second portion of the arm relative to the first portion of the arm. The second positioning device is operable to rotate a patient support at least on a second axis.

Abstract: An adjustable bed includes a main frame which supports a mattress platform, a fixed frame base having wheels mounted thereto for displacement thereof on a floor surface, and a lift mechanism interconnecting the main frame and the fixed frame base. The lift mechanism supports the main frame and is actuated to displace and position the main frame between a fully collapsed position and a fully elevated position relative to the fixed frame base without any longitudinal displacement of the bed. The main frame, the fixed base and the lift mechanism collapse into a low profile bed configuration in the fully collapsed position, such that the mattress platform is located at a minimum vertical height of at most 9 inches above the floor surface.
