Abstract: A magnetic auxiliary mechanism for a pivoted tool is disclosed. When an adjustable magnetic member therein is set in a released state, a repelling force generated between the adjustable member and a fixed magnetic member helps to push handles of the pivoted tool to move in opposite directions, thereby facilitating operation. When the adjustable magnetic member is set in a locked state, an attracting force generated between the adjustable and fixed magnetic members helps to hold the handles of the pivoted tool together. The magnetic auxiliary mechanism provides simple overall appearance, convenient operation and safe storage to the pivoted tool.

Abstract: The Advanced Pickup Switch is a lever-style switch that will allow any guitarist, with a minimal amount of technical skill, to alter the pickup wiring configuration of their electric guitar for altering the tonal choices available without the need to manually hard-wire each connection. The tonal alterations are effected via rotationally and axially displaceable multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB) discs that contain pre-determined tracings for specific pickup coil configurations. These are attached to the outboard sides of the switch with a single screw, thereby allowing for complex wiring alterations with the use of a screwdriver alone. The lateral movement of the switch and corresponding axial displacement of the PCB's allows for the expansion of the number of combinations without the use of a secondary switch. A robust two-pronged resilient detent arm cooperates with gearage for providing a switch with the tactile feedback that is familiar and comfortable to guitarists worldwide.

Abstract: A self-cleaning milk frothing device has a frothing mechanism, a milk-suction conduit and a milk-discharge conduit to discharge the rest milk. The frothing mechanism has a steam conduit to generate negative pressure inside. The milk-suction conduit includes a first flexible tube inserted into the milk, a second flexible tube connected to the frothing mechanism and a three-way pipe connected to the first flexible tube and the second flexible tube. An electromagnetic valve to control one end of the three-way pipe to connect to or separate from the air, and a controller to control the on-off of the electromagnetic valve is further disposed. After frothing the milk, the controller controls the electromagnetic valve, connecting the three-way pipe to the air, the suction air is passing through the second flexible tube and the frothing mechanism and then going out of the milk-discharge conduit.

The preservation system obtains information about the nutritional substance to be preserved, senses and measures the external environment to the preservation system, senses and measures the internal environment to the preservation system, senses and measures the state of the nutritional substance, and stores such information throughout the period of preservation. Using this accumulated information, the preservation system can measure, or estimate, changes in nutritional content (usually degradation) during the period of preservation. Additionally, the preservation system can use this information to dynamically modify the preservation system to minimize detrimental changes to the nutritional content of the nutritional substance, and in some cases actually improve the nutritional substance attributes.

Each sleeve encircles the roll surface of the guide roll and is positioned between the belt and the guide roll surface in a manner allowing relative rotational movement between the sleeve and the guide roll. Each guide sleeve is thus allowed to match the peripheral speed of the respective belt as it passes over the guide roll and allow slippage to occur between the guide roll surface and the inner circumference of the guide sleeve. Flanges extending radially outwardly on each sleeve end maintain the sleeve alignment with the respective belt.
