Publication number: 20140041644Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat exchanger for cooling a gas which can mainly be applied in EGR systems with a floating core. The differences in temperature achieved during operation of the casing and the core of gas ducts housed therein give rise to degrees of expansion which are also different. If the ends of both components were fixed to each other, stresses which would cause the breakage thereof would occur. The common solution applied is to leave one of the ends of the core of ducts floating, i.e., with capacity for longitudinal displacement with respect to the casing to prevent the occurrence of stresses. The floating end of the core has an attachment by means of O-ring gaskets. The O-ring gaskets are made of an elastomer that cannot reach very high temperatures, hence in the state of the art the floating attachment is on the side where the already cooled gas exits.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2012Publication date: February 13, 2014Applicant: BORGWARNER EMISSIONS SYSTEMS SPAIN, S.L.Inventors: José Antonio Grande Fernández, Ángel Chamadoira Gández

Publication number: 20140041668Abstract: This invention provides an oral apparatus and method capable of alleviating or curing snore and obstructive sleep apnea by applying a negative pressure through a mini oral interface to the oral cavity. The mini oral interface creates a secure connection to mouth and prevents disengaging from patient's mouth during sleeping. The negative pressure pulls the tongue toward upper palate and also pulls the soft palate forward as well. By moving the tongue and the soft tissue in a forward direction, the patency of the upper airway near the pharynx is maintained to prevent sleep-disordered breathing. The negative pressure will pull the lips inward to close the mouth preventing air from entering the oral cavity from atmosphere. The negative pressure will also pull the soft palate into contact with the rear surface of the tongue to create a seal that prevents the air from entering the oral cavity through the nasal airway.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 15, 2013Publication date: February 13, 2014Applicant: SOMNICS, INC.Inventors: CHUNG-CHU CHEN, MARINA SIROTA

Publication number: 20140041684Abstract: A system and method of improving the performance and extending the lifetime of an ion source is disclosed. The ion source includes an ion source chamber, a suppression electrode and a ground electrode. In the processing mode, the ion source chamber may be biased to a first positive voltage, while the suppression electrode is biased to a negative voltage to attract positive ions from within the chamber through an aperture and toward the workpiece. In the cleaning mode, the ion source chamber may be grounded, while the suppression electrode is biased using a power supply having a high current capability. The voltage applied to the suppression electrode creates a plasma between the suppression electrode and the ion source chamber, and between the suppression electrode and the ground electrode.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 31, 2013Publication date: February 13, 2014Inventors: Peter F. SUBSTRATE CLEANING APPARATUS, SUBSTRATE CLEANING SYSTEM, SUBSTRATE CLEANING METHOD AND MEMORY MEDIUM
Publication number: 20140041685Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a substrate includes a cleaning chamber which accommodates a substrate inside the cleaning chamber, a treatment solution supply device which supplies a treatment solution having a volatile component and capable of solidifying or being cured to form a treatment film through vaporization of the volatile component, and a removal solution supply device which supplies a removal solution capable of removing the treatment film formed on a surface of the substrate. The treatment solution supply device supplies the treatment solution on the surface of the substrate set inside the cleaning chamber, and the removal solution supply device supplies the removal solution onto the treatment film formed on the surface of the substrate.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2013Publication date: February 13, 2014Applicant: TOKYO ELECTRON LIMITEDInventors: Miyako KANEKO, Takehiko Orii, Satoru Shimura, Masami Yamashita, Itaru Kanno -
Publication number: 20140041686Abstract: The invention is directed to a high flashpoint alcohol based cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting composition and its method of use on food contact surfaces. More particularly, the present invention relates to a quick drying and ready to use cleaning and sanitizing formula with an isopropyl alcohol level low enough to permit a reduced flammability rating while maintaining microbiological sanitizing and disinfecting properties.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2012Publication date: February 13, 2014Applicant: ECOLAB USA INC.Inventors: Robert J. Publication number: 20140041687Abstract: The present invention provides a cleaning brush and a cleaning apparatus that can effectively discharge dust, removed from a dresser disk of a CMP apparatus upon cleaning the dresser disk, to the outside of the cleaning system in order to prevent the dust from being again deposited on the dresser disk. A cleaning brush includes a large number of brushes formed to protrude on its top surface, vertical through-holes and into which a nozzle for ejecting a cleaning fluid is inserted, and a recessed groove formed on a lower surface that lower ends of the through-holes and face. It is configured such that dust deposited onto the brushes upon cleaning the dresser disk is discharged to outside from the recessed groove through a gap between the surrounding of the nozzle and the inner surface of the through-holes and together with the cleaning fluid.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 3, 2013Publication date: February 13, 2014Inventor: Hiroyuki SHINOZAKI

Publication number: 20140041688Abstract: A method for assessing and guaranteeing the thermal hygiene effect on items to be washed which are accommodated in a washing chamber of a single-chamber dishwasher or items to be cleaned which are accommodated in a cleaning chamber of a cleaning and disinfecting machine, with a temperature sensor being permanently assigned to the washing chamber or the cleaning chamber. The thermal hygiene effect produced by the temperature and action time acting on the items to be washed or the items to be cleaned is detected by means of the temperature sensor and a control system, and the heat equivalent values are calculated from this information.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 5, 2013Publication date: February 13, 2014Applicant: MEIKO MASCHINENBAU GmbH & Co KGInventors: Bruno MAENNLE, Bruno GAUS, Denis LEHMANN

Publication number: 20140041689Abstract: A substrate processing apparatus includes a substrate holding part, a substrate rotating mechanism, and a chamber. The substrate rotating mechanism incudes an annular rotor part disposed in an internal space of the chamber and a stator part disposed around the rotor part outside the chamber. The substrate holding part is attached to the rotor part in the internal space of the chamber. In the substrate rotating mechanism, a rotating force is generated about a central axis between the stator part and the rotor part. The rotor part is thereby rotated about the central axis, being in a floating state, together with a substrate and the substrate holding part. In the substrate processing apparatus, the substrate can be easily rotated in the internal space having excellent sealability. As a result, it is possible to easily perform single-substrate processing in a sealed internal space.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 2, 2013Publication date: February 13, 2014Applicant: DAINIPPON SCREEN MFG. Publication number: 20140041690Abstract: Glycine is an organic compound that can be used in the making of a synthetic acid that obviates all the drawbacks of strong acids such as hydrochloric acid. The new compound is made by dissolving glycine in water, in a weight ratio of approximately 1:1 to 1:1.5. The solution is mixed until the glycine is essentially fully dissolved in the water. Once dissolution is complete, hydrogen chloride gas is dissolved in the solution to produce the new compound, which can be referred to as hydrogen glycine.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 18, 2011Publication date: February 13, 2014Applicant: GREEN PRODUCTS & TECHNOLOGIES, L.L.C.Inventors: John T.
