Abstract: Taught herein is a venting media laminate having a microporous membrane layer, a fine fiber layer directly coupled to the microporous membrane layer, and a colorant disposed in the fine fiber layer. Also described is an acoustic venting assembly with a microporous membrane layer and a fine fiber layer having an average insertion loss no more than 100% more than the average insertion loss of the microporous membrane layer alone in the frequency range from 300 to 4000 Hz. Methods of manufacturing venting media is also described, where a colorant is added to the polymer solution which is spun to form a fine fiber layer. The fine fiber layer is laminated to an expanded PTFE membrane.

Abstract: The invention relates to an exhaust gas separating tower, comprising a washing section, a flash-distilling section above the washing section, and a liquid seal means between the flash flash-distilling section and the washing section. The washing section is configured for washing exhaust gas entering the tower with a cooling liquid to at least partially remove solid dust entrained in the exhaust gas, cool the exhaust gas, and condense at least a portion of moisture in the exhaust gas into liquid. The flash-distilling section is configured for flash-distilling the cooling liquid from the washing section to produce a cooled cooling liquid and a cooling liquid vapor. The liquid seal means is configured so that the cooling liquid produced by flash-distillation can enter the washing section through the liquid seal means while the flash-distilling section is in gas-phase isolation from the washing section, wherein a pressure in the flash-distilling section is lower than that in the washing section.

Abstract: An air purification device is provided. In one embodiment, the device is comprised of stainless steel. An ambient air stream is introduced into one end of the device by low-pressure vacuum. After the air stream is introduced, a liquid mist is applied to the air stream. One embodiment employs a series of chambers for moisturizing the air stream with liquid mist, to entrain airborne impurities within moisture droplets. In some embodiments, the moisturized air stream then enters one or more collection chambers, where it undergoes cycles of slower air speed movement and higher air speed movement within one or more cyclonic separators located within one or more collection chambers. The air movement within the one or more cyclonic separators assists in separating the heavier impurity-entrained moisture droplets from the air stream. The purified air stream is then expelled from the device.

Abstract: An apparatus for deploying stowed control surfaces of a projectile is disclosed. The apparatus for deploying stowed control surfaces of a projectile includes a first and second hot gas generators, a first and second gas chambers, a piston wedge, a piston and a barrel. Initially, the first hot gas generator discharges a surge of hot gas into the first gas chamber. In response to the surge of hot gas being discharged into the first gas generator, the piston wedge displaces at least one of the control surfaces to break an environmental seal covering the projectile. After a predetermined amount of time has lapsed, the second hot gas generator discharges a surge of hot gas into the second gas chamber. The surge of hot gas displaces the piston and barrel for deploying the control surfaces completely.

Abstract: A subsonic ammunition cartridge casing having an engineered internal volume designed to allow for the introduction of precisely the amount of propellant necessary at precisely the desired location to reproducibly produce the desired projectile velocity and internal pressure is provided. The subsonic shell casing has an engineered internal propellant cavity built into the internal body of the casing itself that does not necessarily depend on the introduction of a separate volume reducing device such as tubing, filler, foam filler and the like. This ensures the integrity of the case, does not result in anything being expelled through the muzzle of the weapon other than the projectile, does not have any burning or combusting components, allows for very precise control of the internal volume and thus chamber pressure, and is economical to produce.

Abstract: An apparatus being a lined fabric material is disclosed. One embodiment of the lined fabric is used as an augmentation sleeve for use with a non lethal, explosive device and includes a lined material having a liner material in between a first fabric and a second fabric, where at least said first fabric is likely to rupture when an explosive force being substantially applied to a liner material in said lined fabric. A liner material is a material that reduces the likelihood of injury when expelled from the lined fabric and contacts a person. The fabric material has some properties of flexible light weight material properties and also has the properties of substantially rigid materials.

Abstract: The present invention is for a support sleeve for a riser supporting an elevated toy vehicle trackway above a surface, the sleeve comprising a first end, a second end having an open end, one or more walls extending between the first end and second end, wherein the one or more walls define a hollow interior for supporting the riser, and one or more supports extending outwardly from the perimeter of the first end. The one or more supports form a shoulder extending outwardly from the first end, wherein the shoulder encircles the perimeter of the first end. The present invention further provides a method of stabilizing one or more toy vehicle tracks mounted on one or more track risers, comprising inserting a first track riser within a hollow support sleeve having a top end and a base end, the base end having one or more outwardly projecting supports.

Abstract: A carriage-body inclination device (30) has individual inclination units (112, 113) that are provided corresponding to air springs (22, 23), and a control unit (110). The individual inclination unit (112) can sufficiently execute supply or release of air to or from the air spring (22) by driving a control valve (40) and a large-capacity valve (170) using a height difference value which is a difference between a height instruction value provided by the control unit (110) and a height value obtained from a link-lever mechanism (24). The control valve (40) has a two-layer structure of a fixed sleeve (91), a control sleeve (90), and a spool (80). The control sleeve (90) is moved and driven by the link-lever mechanism (24) and a rotation-translation conversion mechanism (44). The spool (80) is moved and driven by a spool actuator (120) according to a set height value.
