Abstract: Woodworking machines including cutting tools and motors adapted to drive the cutting tools are disclosed. The machines also include a detection system adapted to detect a dangerous condition between the cutting tool and a person, and a reaction system adapted to perform a specified action upon detection of the dangerous condition. The machines further include a control system adapted to test the operability of at least a portion of the detection system and/or the reaction system. The control system is adapted to disable the motor if the tested portion is inoperable.

Abstract: A die for fabricating a carrier tape such that the carrier tape is provided with a plurality of housing holes for housing electronic components therein in a state where the housing holes are arranged in a longitudinal direction and penetrates the carrier tape in a thickness direction. The die is less prone to be damaged and is less prone to induce breakages in the interval portions between the housing holes in the carrier tape. A male die includes housing-hole formation convex portions which are constituted by a plurality of first housing-hole formation convex portions having respective tip ends at a relatively-higher heightwise position, and a plurality of second housing-hole formation convex portions having respective tip ends at a relatively-lower heightwise position.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for operating a food slicing device in which a sensor device with a sensor is provided, where a food product resting on a cutting bed is sliced with a cutting blade. The method is used for optimizing and monitoring the operation of the cutting blade. This is achieved in that a cutting force being applied by the cutting blade via the food product onto the cutting bed is determined using the sensor device.

Two or more stack packs are layered on one another in the region of the conveying section and the layered stack packs are die-cut into shaped label stacks, for increasing the die-cutting output. The layered, die-cut stacks can then be divided again into shaped label stacks that can be managed and banded.

The system includes a first mist extractor with a first operating range and a second mist extractor with a second operating range. The mist extractors are generally of the same type, with the second operating range being different than the first operating range. A gas stream containing entrained liquid droplets flows through the first mist extractor and then through the second mist extractor. Each mist extractor coalesces and captures the liquid droplets within its own operating range, expanding the overall operating range of the separator. Additional mist extractors may be added to cover any gap between the first and second operating ranges.
