Abstract: A shirt of armor is provided. In some embodiments, the shirt is a t-shirt that includes a front portion and a back portion, the front portion having an outside fabric layer portion and an inside fabric layer portion, sewn together on their lower and side parts, and the back portion having an outside fabric layer portion and inside layer portion, sewn together on their lower and side parts. The shirt also includes openings for the neck and arms, and further includes armor panels inserted in the front and back portions.

Abstract: A detachable side plate carrier for use with articles that support ballistic body armor plates. The side plate carrier uses a fold-over/wrap-around” design to accommodate ballistic side plates of various sizes and dimensions and can support those side plates in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. The side plate carrier is constructed for durable fabrics sewn in a cruciform shape forming side, top and bottom flaps that can be folded and wrapped around a ballistic side plate. The flaps are held together using hook and loop fasteners on opposite sides of each flap.

Abstract: A protective sports glove including a vent opening and an arched panel extending upward and over the vent opening. The glove can include a breathable material that extends across the vent opening to provide improved air flow to and from the interior of the glove. The arched panel can arch above the vent opening, and optional breathable material, so as to form a void under the panel, thereby providing impact protection to the wearer's hand while still enabling air to circulate through the vent opening to the wearer's hand. The arched panel can be configured to flex or bend when the hand is brought back toward the wearer's wrist or forearm, yet provide resistance to that backward movement to eliminate and/or reduce the overextension of the hand and wrist.

Abstract: A flexible garment is used to protect the wearer's clothing, head, neck and upper torso from unwanted transfer of cosmetic make-up, hair products and oils and other bodily substances as well as protect make-up and hair from being disturbed while changing clothing, comprising a single piece of material having two semi-circular bands affixed into tubes on two opposite sides or edges of the material. The object of the invention is to provide a more secure, effective and simple to use design that may be worn during application of facial cosmetics, make-up and hair products, and then converted quickly and effectively into a protective covering.

Abstract: The present device describes a wearable material designed to prevent the formation of acne caused by a combination of friction and sweat. The material is impregnated with an acne fighting solution and is adapted to be placed beneath protective athletic gear. The material further comprises securement features that provide attachment to the interior of helmets, chin guards and other protective gear.

Abstract: An optimal range of motion garment is provided. The garment is capable of fitting over one or more shoulder pads. The garment comprises a front portion attached to a sleeve, a back portion attached to a sleeve, and a gusset attached to the front portion and the back portion. The gusset is configured to correspond to a negative space of the one or more shoulder pads. The garment may also comprise a sleeve opening attached to the sleeve. The sleeve opening is directed towards the front of a user at a specific angle. The gusset and sleeve opening being directed towards the front portion at a specific angle facilitate optimal range of motion for a user.

Abstract: An inflation system includes a bladder incorporated into an article of outdoor gear or apparel. The bladder is incorporated into the article of outdoor gear and apparel so as to provide insulation to a user. The inflation system includes a gas canister that includes a reservoir of dry gas. A valve mechanism allows the dry gas to be used to selectively inflate and deflate the bladder to provide a desired amount of insulation.

Abstract: A removable and disposable cap or hat liner. The removable and disposable liner having a front, central, and back portion allowing for curvature relief indentation for easy and convenient fitting inside a hat or cap, and more particularly baseball caps. The present invention also allows for easy packaging and assembly of the liner and further provides an easy method for shaping and inserting the liner into a hat or cap. The invention also provides better cushion for improved head and seal protection, enhanced thermal comfort, and improved ventilation.

When worn with an ankle boot, the garment gives the appearance that the wearer is wearing a combination of boots having differing heights on the wearer's leg, with each boot fitting into a leg warmer below the boot, and each leg warmer fitting into a boot below the leg warmer.

Abstract: A custom-fitted helmet and a method of making the same can comprise, at a first location, obtaining head data for a customer's head comprising a length, a width, and at least one head contour. With at least one processor, generating a computerized three-dimensional (3D) headform matching the customer's head length, width, and head contour from the head data. The 3D headform can be compared to a helmet safety standard. At a second location different from the first location, a custom-fitted helmet based on the 3D headform can be formed, wherein the custom-fitted helmet satisfies the safety standard and comprises an inner surface comprising a topography that conforms to the length, width, and at least one contour of the customer's head. The first location can be a home or a store. Obtaining the head data from photographic images of a deformable interface member disposed on the customer's head.

Abstract: Some embodiments described herein relate to an athletic helmet. The athletic helmet can include a shell, a suspension chassis, and several impact-absorbing pads. The suspension chassis can be disposed within the shell and configured to couple the pads to the shell. Each pad can include a membrane defining an interior volume. A valve can place the interior volume in fluid communication with the exterior of the membrane. In some embodiments, two or more structural members can be disposed within the interior volume. One structural member can be at least partially deformed when the athletic helmet is worn by a user.

Abstract: A system may include an article of apparel and a fluid source. The article of apparel incorporates a plurality of fluid channels, and the apparel includes a fluid connector in fluid communication with the fluid channels. A fluid source is configured to join with the fluid connector and supply a fluid to the fluid channels. The article of apparel may include a pad component formed from a polymer foam material, which defines the fluid channels. A pair of material elements may be secured to opposite sides of the pad component, with one of the material elements being fluid permeable adjacent to at least a portion of the fluid channels.

Abstract: A ventilated toilet seat assembly includes a seat which defines air inlets and internal air flow passages. The seat may be opened for cleaning. The assembly includes a pair of seat mounts for hingedly mounting the seat to a toilet. The mounts each define a port which leads to an internal chamber. The flow passages through the seat align with the ports in the mounts. The mounts connect to a toilet with fasteners which define an air path from the interior chamber. Nuts are connected to the fasteners for securing the mounts and for mounting conduits which lead from the fasteners to an air mover.

Abstract: In one aspect of the subject invention, a spacer is provided for supporting a closet flange above a sub-flooring, the closet flange having a pipe section and an annular flange extending radially outwardly from the pipe section. The spacer includes a disc-shaped body having spaced apart first and second faces, and spaced apart inner and outer edges extending between the first and second faces. The inner edge defines an opening extending through the body, the opening sized to permit passage therethrough of the pipe section of the closet flange but not the annular flange of the closet flange. A plurality of equally spaced notches being formed in the outer edge. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a spacer is provided usable with a closet flange to provide elevation thereof.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a toilet overflow prevention device. The device is a toilet tank shutoff system, composed of a sensor for use in the toilet bowl or tank, an electro-mechanical actuator, and an electronic communication link. The electromechanical actuator is configured to raise the control rod, which controls the filler valve of the toilet. A latch mechanism would retain the control rod, once it is raised. The system would raise the control rod upon receiving a signal from the sensor that the toilet is at risk of overflowing; the control rod would be retained in the raised position by the latch mechanism without requiring electric current, until released manually by the user. The sensor in the toilet bowl would preferably be in electronic communication with the electro-mechanical actuator in the toilet tank by a wire covered in a durable material, or by a short range, wireless communication protocol.

A latching mechanism on the door is operable between a latching position and an unlatching position and includes a slidable latching pin that is slidable to engage a pin receiver in the latching position when the door is locked and disengage from the pin receiver in the unlatching position when the door is unlocked.

The assembly includes an elongate infant bath basin having upwardly extended side walls for containing water in which to bathe an infant, a sling extends across the basin and is supported by at least two of the side walls when in the extended position. The sling is configured and arranged to be detached from one of the sidewalls and retract into a retraction mechanism at the opposing side wall such that the sling is stored in the retraction mechanism when not in use. In an alternate embodiment, a retrofit sling support assembly is provided for use in baths not fitted with a sling or for standalone use. The retractable sling is supported by a portable foldable frame.

The articulating structure includes rigid planar supports having edges with a surrounding resilient foam layer having a fabric covering secured to the planar support. The bumper and foam layer are resilient to deform upon contact with an intruding appendage inserted between them. For an exemplary embodiment, an electrical outlet is mounted in a housing which penetrates the support frame, mounting support and bumper.

The pad is made of a unitary piece of a cushion material.

In one disclosed example, the fibers are polyester and include an average length randomly oriented in three dimensions. The core has a thickness that is greater than the average length to accommodate the average length in all three dimensions. The batt includes manufactured, tufted and desired design heights. A tuft extends through the cushion to the opposing surfaces to maintain the cushion in the tufted height, which is less than the manufactured height. The cushion is provided with the desired design height with the tufted cushion arranged within the cushion cavity, the desired design height less than the manufactured height and more than the tufted height.
