Abstract: A pillow is disclosed which keeps a user cool by providing for the free flow of air about the user's head. The pillow comprises a substantially u-shaped frame further comprising a support structure encased in a padding layer with a mesh element stretched over the frame. The support structure may have a folded over shape with two opposing bend points and two opposing horizontal members such that the frame will be resiliently flexible about the bend points.

Abstract: A compressible or retractable support is installed inside an air blower cavity of a body support system, such as a medical mattress with forced air flow. The support is compressed or retracted within the cavity when the air blower is inserted in the dynamic configuration of the body support system. The support rebounds to an uncompressed state to fill a greater portion of the air blower cavity when the air blower is removed to convert the body support system to a static configuration.

Abstract: A portable changing table includes at least one extendable arm assembly moveable between a retracted position and an extended position. The at least one extendable arm assembly is removably securable to a support structure, and it includes a biasing member for urging the at least one extendable arm assembly into the retracted position. The table further includes a latch assembly that is configured to selectively secure the at least one extendable arm assembly in the retracted position. A collapsible frame is hingedly secured to the at least one extendable arm assembly that is moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A flexible support member extends across a portion of the collapsible frame in the deployed position.

Abstract: A cushion assembly includes a cover having a perimeter panel providing a perimeter height. Spaced apart cover panels extend between the perimeter panels. The perimeter and cover panels together provide a cushion cavity. A cushion includes randomly oriented fibers bonded to one another to provide a core of a batt that has opposing surfaces. In one disclosed example, the fibers are polyester and include an average length randomly oriented in three dimensions. The core has a thickness that is greater than the average length to accommodate the average length in all three dimensions. The batt includes manufactured, tufted and desired design heights. A tuft extends through the cushion to the opposing surfaces to maintain the cushion in the tufted height, which is less than the manufactured height. The cushion is provided with the desired design height with the tufted cushion arranged within the cushion cavity, the desired design height less than the manufactured height and more than the tufted height.

Abstract: A bed scroll is a bedding mat that is able to coil inwards from its left side and its right side. The bed scroll has a first coiling portion and a second coiling portion, which are integrated into the bed scroll and are positioned opposite each other across the bed scroll. The bed scroll is designed to be thermally insulative, organically-impermeable, waterproof, and hypoallergenic. The bed scroll can also be embedded with a topical medication that treats a user's ailments and can have a plurality of massaging protrusions that stimulate the user's skin to prevent pressure ulcers.

Abstract: Body support systems such as mattresses include breathing layers that define internal air flow guides and form part of the structure for pressure redistribution. At least one air flow unit is coupled for fluid communication with the breathing layers so that heat and moisture may be drawn away from an uppermost comfort layer or body-supporting layer, through the breathing layers, and exhausted out of the body support system. Alternatively, air may be directed through permeable portions of the layers of the body support system to the uppermost layer, particularly at the torso supporting region.
