  • Patent number: 8845141
Abstract: A reflector is rotatably coupled to a light emitting diode (LED) module assembly. The reflector includes multiple alignment features that correspond with multiple notches provided in a reflector attachment coupled to a LED light source. The reflector can be made of a non-conductive substrate material, such as glass, and can have a non-conductive, reflective coating deposited on the inner surface of the reflector to allow the reflector to be more closely positioned to the LED light source. Reflector attachments can help to maintain precise reflector position during coupling with the LED light source. Media holders can be removably coupled to the light emitting portion of the reflector and provide for the quick mounting and placement of one or more optical media in the light path output by the reflector.

At least one layer of optical thin film material for increasing out light effect is positioned on the surface of the out light plane. The bottom reflection plane is positioned on the metal back plate. The static-free light guide plate further comprises interconnected conductive bands positioned at the side plane of the optical thin film material, non-incident portion of the incident plane, the bottom surface of the bottom reflection plane and the side reflection plane. With the conductive bands positioned at the side surface of the optical thin film material and connected to the metal back plate, the electrostatic generated on the light guide plate is transferred to achieve the purpose of protecting the electronic device, such as LEDs.

Abstract: A light-weight and energy-efficient lighting panel is constructed from a light-transmissive and light diffusive extrusion formed to have elongated hollows, which are hollow structures or volumes between two surfaces, at least one of which is transmissive and diffusive. Light projected into the hollow flows through the hollow and part of the light is emitted through the light transmissive and diffusive surfaces. Even though the light sources are located at the edges of a panel, the surface of the panel appears to be uniformly light by light sources distribute directly behind the panels rather than along the edges.

Abstract: A light guide plate includes a light emitting surface, a bottom surface opposite to the light emitting surface, a light incident surface, and a side surface opposite to the light incident surface. The bottom surface is imaginarily divided into a plurality of rectangular portions along a direction from the light incident surface to the side surface. The shapes of the rectangular portions are the same as each other. Each of the rectangular portions distributes a plurality of microstructures. The rectangular portions are assigned serial numbers along the direction from the light incident surface to the side surface. The microstructure density in each of the rectangular portions between the first rectangular portion and the last rectangular portion satisfies the formula: ai=(ai?1+ai+ai+1)/3, where i represents the serial number of the rectangular portion, N represents the total number of the rectangular portions, 1<i<N, and i and N are natural numbers.

Abstract: The present invention provides a backlight module and a housing unit structure thereof. The backlight module includes a back plate having a first edge, a second edge, a third edge and a fourth edge. The edges of the back plate are provided with a housing including a plurality of housing unit structures. The housing unit structures have a strip shape or an L-shape, respectively, and are disposed on the back plate by connecting or spacing a distance to each others to assemble into a housing. The backlight module uses an adjustable modular design to adjust the number of the housing unit structures for being suitably applied to various backlight modules with different sizes. Except for reducing the use of material, the development cost and time of the backlight module can be saved.
