Abstract: A hand protective and padding device and athletic training system for gripping an exercise device, particularly a weight lifting bar, barbell or tension device. The system includes a protective pad covering the palm area and finger loops on the pad through which three fingers extend for an absolute hold between the hand pad and the user's hand. The hand pad possesses an oval like shape with concave center, providing the user with enhanced comfort and protection against the entire palm side of a user's hands. The hand pad may utilize a rubber-like material, which accommodates movement, and tolerance on rough surfaces. The hand pad has a generally high coefficient of friction which provides a non-slip grip, is smooth for a soothing grip for the user and can be easily cleaned and maintained for enhanced hygiene.

Abstract: A baby burp device configured to drape over the shoulder of a user is provided. The single-use baby burp device includes a front portion, a rear portion, and a middle portion joining the front portion with the rear portion; wherein the front portion drapes over the chest, the middle portion drapes over the shoulder and the rear portion drapes over the back; wherein each of the front, middle and rear portions comprise a top layer having a top surface, wherein the top surface makes contact with a baby and wherein at least a portion of the top surface is water-proof or water-resistant; and a bottom layer attached to the top layer or a middle layer and having a bottom surface, wherein the bottom surface makes contact with the user; and an adhesive layer disposed on at least a portion of the bottom surface of at least one of the front portion, the rear portion, or the middle portion, wherein the adhesive layer makes contact with the user.

Abstract: The invention relates to an article of clothing that includes an article of clothing for at least partially covering a portion of the user's body. The article of clothing includes a band positioned in the extension of a portion of the clothing element and adapted to surround the waist or a limb of the user, the band being demarcated by at least one edge with adjustable perimeter, the band forming a wall of a housing surrounding the waist or a limb of the user, the housing being adapted to contain the folded clothing element and to keep it around the waist or a limb of the user.

Abstract: Implementations of an athletic grip are provided. In some implementations, a more durable and adjustable grip that may have a comparable break-in time as handmade grips made of athletic tape is provided. In some implementations, the grips of the present disclosure are made of athletic tape. In some implementations, the grips include an interior material such as a duct canvas fabric or other flexible, tightly woven, durable fabric such as Roc-lon®. In some implementations, the grips include slits and a removable band to secure the grips to the user's wrist. In some implementations, the slits are longer than the width of the band to adjust the position of the band on the user's wrist. In some implementations, the grips and/or the bands include fasteners (such as snaps, buttons, hook and loop fasteners (e.g., Velcro®), or other reclosable fasteners to secure the band to the grip.

Abstract: A thermal energy dissipating garment may include a first garment portion having a perimeter defined by at least a first side and a second garment portion having a perimeter defined by at least a vent side. The first garment portion and the second garment portion are discontinuously affixed to each other at defined intervals along a surface of each portion proximate to the first side and the vent side creating a vent seam having a plurality of ducts/scalloped vents for directing air towards a body of a wearer. The plurality of scalloped vents are oriented with an angle of attack that redirects air from the exterior of the garment to the interior of the garment to increase air movement along a wearer's skin.

Abstract: A garment assembly includes a garment and a seat. The seat includes a front surface, a rear surface, a first side surface and a second side surface and defines an aperture that extends through the seat from the first side surface to the second side surface. The assembly further includes an at least partially elastic member including a first end section attached to the garment, a second end section attached to the garment, and an intermediate section extending through the seat aperture. At least one of the first end section and the second end section are elastic, and the intermediate section is elastic, such that the seat is deployable between a stowed position and a deployed position and exterior to the garment in the stowed and deployed position. The seat is configured to extend substantially vertical while stowed and substantially horizontal while deployed.

Abstract: There are provided gloves comprising: a top glove portion and a bottom glove portion opposite to the top glove portion. At least one of the top glove portion and the bottom glove portion can be made of an impermeable material. The gloves can also comprise a moisture absorbent layer covering at least one of the impermeable top glove portion and bottom glove portion for allowing a user of the glove to perform the specific purpose.

Abstract: According to the various features characteristics and embodiments of the present invention which will become apparent as the description thereof proceeds, the present invention provides partially fingered gloves intended to increase the overall performance in sports activities including but limited to golf. Primarily because of its unique finger configurations, and/or grip enhancers, and/or apertures, the present invention makes a glove more operable in various sports activities, including for those who play Golf using the conventional interlocking grip.

Abstract: The present invention relates to pet hair collectors. In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a glove having a surface which, due to its specific manufacturing and curing process, provides a tacky surface and additionally develops an electrostatic charge during use that further serves to attract pet hair. The glove preferably maintains all or most of its efficacy after repeated washing. The glove is particularly adapted to removing pet hair when the glove is placed in contact with (e.g., brushed against) the pet hair. In some embodiments, an existing glove made of a material such as nylon and/or elastane (Spandex), or bamboo, is coated with a material such as nitrile rubber which is partially cured to obtain the desired tack and electrostatic charging properties. In other embodiments, the pet hair collector is a nitrile roller.

Abstract: A surface of a nonslip member (1) made of a silicone resin is treated by combustion chemical vapor deposition (2). A two pack urethane-based primer (3) in the molten state is applied to the surface of the nonslip member (1) treated by combustion chemical vapor deposition (2). The primer (3) is dried, and a thermal adhesive resin film (4) is applied to the layer of the primer 3 by thermal adhesion treatment. The adhesiveness (adhesive strength) of the nonslip member (1) made of a silicone resin is substantially improved. Therefore, when a nonslip member (A) is attached to the underside of the waist of a pair of trousers or a skirt or to a quarter lining attached to that part, the nonslip member (A) can maintain an extremely excellent nonslip effect for a long time. In addition, the nonslip member (A) does not peel off after washing or dry cleaning.

Abstract: A head covering or helmet pads are removably attached to the outer surface of an existing sport's helmet. The pads are constructed to conform to the contours of the outer surface of the helmet. The pads are made from layers of thermoplastic material structured to absorb both shock and acoustic waves that may cause concussive type injuries. The thermoplastic may be an open-cell foam material selected from the group consisting of neoprene, polyethylene, silicon, urethane, silicon/urethane blend.

Abstract: Protective structures that may be used in various protective gear items, such as helmets and the like. In some embodiments, the protective structure may comprise a layered structure having three distinct layers. The various layers may be selected, arranged, and configured to provide for improved protection at multiple velocities, such as high velocity impacts and low velocity impacts. Some embodiments may also, or alternatively, be configured to provide improved protection and/or durability for multiple impacts at the same portion of the helmet over time.

Abstract: A decorative toilet bolt cover is provided that allows users to customize an area of their bathroom that is ordinarily merely utilitarian and dull. Toilet bolts are used to secure toilets to the bathroom floor and are omnipresent, yet there are no options available to decorate these toilet bolts. Covers are necessary for these toilet bolts because exposed bolts are ugly and can be dangerous since they are hard, potentially rusty protuberances. Traditional toilet bolt covers do not offer the range of design options that many users would like, therefore there is a need for decorative toilet bolt covers that are easy to secure to exposed toilet bolts.

Abstract: A drain closure device for a vessel such as a bathtub or sink is provided. The drain closure device comprises a stopper fitted with a sealing gasket and equipped with track followers on a vertical post capped with a horizontal stopper, plus a flanged pipe emanating from said stopper that fits to the drainage hole in a vessel. The device is operable to be concentrically disposed with a hole in the bottom of the vessel. Rotation of the stopper causes travel of the followers on the stem to rise against the track cut into the interior of the flanged pipe. Resistance to closure when opened is provided by a terminal rest stop for each track follower on the upper part of the track. No springs, pins, or resistance seals are used. Reverse rotation of the stopper causes reverse travel of the followers back down the track to a low resting place located to effect closure of the horizontal stopper atop the flange of the pipe resting on the perimeter of the vessel hole.

Abstract: A shower curtain and series of clips or hooks integral therewith. The clips are single pre-fabricated members including a lower/shower curtain portion and upper/hanger portion. The shower curtain portion retains a shower curtain while the hanger portion attaches to a shower curtain rod. The shower curtain portion may be square-shaped, rectangular or the like and may be received by, and substantially encapsulated by, an internal space defined by layers of shower curtain material at an upper edge thereof. The shower curtain portion is configured to fit onto a shower curtain rod. Advantageously, when attached to the shower curtain rod using the series of clips described herein, the shower curtain is substantially flat or flush relative to the shower curtain rod and/or the clips are concealed in part or completely from a position outside of the shower/bathtub. A shower curtain liner may be attached to the shower curtain.

Abstract: A sheet receiver for a patient repositioning system includes a housing adapted to be supported at a first end of a bed deck and a pulling device located primarily within an internal compartment of the housing. The housing has an access door adapted to open and to close so as to provide access to the internal compartment via an opening, and the housing also has an elongated slot extending along a first end thereof, and spaced from the opening. A connector has an innermost end secured to the pulling device within the internal compartment and an outermost end removably attachable to a sheet located on a mattress supported on the bed deck. The connector spans substantially the length of the slot and may include at least one window near the innermost end, to facilitate cleaning of the internal compartment. The housing includes impeding structure which prevents the inadvertent insertion of the connector and/or the sheet into the internal compartment via the opening.
