Publication number: 20150041133Abstract: Methods of controlling flow into a formation through the use of a stimulation valve in a tubular assembly installed in a well. Fluid is pumped into the formation through one or more ports in the stimulation valve. The stimulation valve defines a conduit for flow of fluids through the stimulation valve. The ports are adapted to allow flow of fluids between the conduit and the exterior of the stimulation valve and to receive a ball sealer for shutting off flow of fluids through the ports. The ports then are closed by introducing a plurality of ball sealers into the fluid. The fluid carries the ball sealers into the valve where they seat on and shut off flow of the fluid through the ports.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2013Publication date: February 12, 2015Applicant: Team Oil Tools LPInventor: Stephen J. Publication number: 20150041141Abstract: A tool string carrying an external tool, such as a liner hanger, on a release mechanism is lowered into the wellbore. Interlocking lugs and J-slot profile, defined between the exterior surface of the mandrel and interior surface of the release mechanism, allow relative movement of release mechanism and mandrel without releasing the release mechanism. The relative movement allows mechanical operation of a valve or other tool positioned below the release mechanism. Weight-down and rotation of the tool string and mandrel actuates the lower valve assembly by turning a sleeve into alignment with cooperating members of the mandrel. The sleeve, no longer constrained, moves longitudinally in response to a biasing mechanism. Movement of the sleeve allows closure of the valve. After actuation of the valve tool, further weight-down releases the release mechanism from the carried tool.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2014Publication date: February 12, 2015Inventor: Arthur Stautzenberger

Publication number: 20150041172Abstract: The present disclosure describes a cable designed to minimize values for resistance, inductance, and capacitance, without the trade-offs of typical designs. The cable includes a plurality of conductors for each signal or leg, which may be configured as a braid of three subsets of braids of bonded pairs of insulated conductors. The bonded pairs may be twisted or untwisted, in close proximity such that inductance is reduced via magnetic field cancellation. Each leg may be separate and parallel, rather than interwoven or braided together, increasing the distance between the two signals and reducing capacitance. The legs may be positioned close to each other, such that their magnetic fields cancel to further reduce inductance.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2013Publication date: February 12, 2015Applicant: Belden Inc.Inventor: GALEN MARK GAREIS

Publication number: 20150041176Abstract: Disclosed is a shield wire for a wiring harness improving workability for wiring, and a method of the shield wire for a wiring harness. Forming of a shield part by winding a strip-like shield member outside of an electric wire allows work for inserting the electric wire into the shield part to be omitted, which improves workability for wiring. Forming of overlap portion where the shield part overlaps with each other in a radial direction allows the electric wire not to be exposed even if the shield electric wire for a wiring harness is bent, which prevents leak or penetration of electromagnetic wave.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 13, 2014Publication date: February 12, 2015Applicant: Yazaki Energy System CorporationInventor: Tadatoshi SUGIYAMA

Publication number: 20150041179Abstract: A pole part for medium voltage use, with an insulating coverage made of duroplastic or thermoplastic material, and a method for manufacturing the pole part are provided. To enhance the manufacturing of pole parts, such that the manufactured pole part could be more easily released out of the mold, and additionally that the interface between elements made of different materials are tightly closed, in order to generate reproducible dielectric withstand performance in the manufacture, the transition area between different elements of the pole part are commonly flat in such a way that rounded edges and/or steps are avoided.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2014Publication date: February 12, 2015Applicant: ABB Technology AGInventors: Arne KLASKA, Dietmar GENTSCH, Robin ENGELKE, Wilfried BAIER
