Abstract: A roll-up door seal arrangement includes side seals, an upper seal and a lower seal to completely seal the periphery of a roll-up door when the door is in a closed position. The seals are sized and adapted to assemble to a standard roll-up door frame without a separate or dedicated frame structure. The seals provide redundant sealing surfaces, positioned to cooperate with both the door and door frame, which ensure an effective and durable fluid tight seal between the cargo space enclosed by the roll-up door and the ambient environment. The seal may be produced by extrusion from a flexible, weather resistant material such as EPDM, thereby providing a low cost solution for sealing roll-up doors having industry standard door frame constructions. The seal is firmly engageable with the door frame, such that the seal may be installed with little or no use of secondary fixation.

Abstract: A sealing system seals the perimeter of insulated hinged double doors. The sealing system includes first and second exterior seals made of a monolithic, resilient and elastically deformable material. The first exterior seal has an elongated lobe for contacting the exterior of said door, and both of the first and second exterior seals have an interior lobe which contact one another when the doors are closed. The sealing system further includes first and second inner seals made of a monolithic, resilient and elastically deformable material, each having a pair of spaced-apart sealing lobes. The inner seals are mounted to respective doors in a staggered fashion, such that the respective pairs of sealing lobes interact with one another to create a redundant, weather-resistant and thermally robust seal when the double doors are closed.

Abstract: When a thickest part of a flange is being inserted into an attachment portion of a weather strip, a main body portion of a holding lip having a smaller coefficient of dynamic friction than that of a contact portion firstly contacts with the flange. Therefore, a frictional force of the holding lip (main body portion) with respect to the flange is made small, and the insertion force is made small to that extent. When the attachment portion is attached to a thinnest part of the flange, the contact portion of the holding lip having a greater coefficient of dynamic friction than that of the main body portion contacts with the flange. Therefore, the frictional force of the holding lip (contact portion) is made large, and the holding lip is made difficult to slip with respect to the flange.
