Abstract: Embodiments of ballistic vest system including a ballistic vest having a soft body armor component with a ballistic vein component positioned behind and adjacent the soft armor component for providing structural support to the ballistic vest and provide further dissipation of forces generated by the impact of a ballistic projectile and/or shrapenl against the soft body armor component. Other embodiments of a ballistic vest system having a ballistic vein component may be described and claimed.

Abstract: An easy to use ball-catching glove is used by toddlers as their first glove. It is padded by the thickness and characteristic shock-absorbing quality of Plastisol, gum rubber, silicone rubber material, soft plastic material, any of a variety of materials or combinations of materials having a hardness value in a range of 10 to 90 on a Shore 00 hardness scale, or any rubber-like material or other material from which it is molded as one piece. The glove is highly malleable and resilient, with living hinges that assist in the ease of opening and closing the glove. The exterior surface of the glove is a high friction surface to assist the ball staying on the glove until the fingers and thumb can be wrapped around it. The glove is brightly colored and toy-like in shape.

Abstract: Protective gear for infants and young children such as passed anti-scratching hand coverings are described. The gloves can alleviate harmful scratching of the child's hands on his or her face or other vulnerable areas. The gloves can also aid the motor-skills, coordination and dexterity development of young children. The gloves can include an elastic and flexible glove body and up to five separate hollow cylindrical glove fingers. The glove body can cover at least a portion of one or both of a dorsal or a palmer side of a hand of the child. Each glove finger can be individually sized, shaped, or otherwise configured to accommodate respective fingers of the child. A padded portion can be included on or along an exterior of at least a portion of the glove finger. The padded portion is adapted to be in close contact with skin of the child or other object when the glove fingers are engaged in act such as gripping.

Abstract: An upper body garment includes web portions fastened to one another by a seam which is selectively openable to define one or more seam openings configured to provide user access to one or more pockets disposed along the seam on the exterior of the garment. The pockets are supported by a suspension system disposed in the interior of said garment, independently of, and in spaced relation to, the web portions. The pockets may be located along the front, side, back, and/or arm seams of the garment.

Abstract: A carrier garment configured to carry protective panels on a user's torso allows adjustment of the carrier garment and the protective panels to accommodate a wide range of bust and torso sizes, from flat-chested to full figured bust and torso lines. Embodiments allow quick adjustment back to a flat configuration to accommodate rifle protection plates that require the carrier and the underlying panels to be flat. Various embodiments can be locked to ensure that the garment retains its adjusted shape. A shaping point and/or a slit can be provided to assist in shaping stiff materials. Embodiments include a plurality of attachment points to which a lower end of an adjustment lanyard can be attached. A lining or inner layer can be included, and can be configured to adjust in shape with the outer garment. The outer garment and/or the liner or inner layer can include a protective material.

Abstract: A one-piece garment employing a drop seat panel configured or modified to permit the wearer to have restroom breaks or attend to other individual needs without being required to partially or fully remove the garment is disclosed. The garment creates a horizontal separation at the back waistband that goes from side seam to side seam; vertical separation of the front of the garment from the back of the garment beginning at the waistband and running down both side seams to the desired length. The garment includes a closures to close the vertical separation of the garment from the waistband down each side seam the length of the opening; and closures to attach the back bottom part of the one piece garment to the top back part of the one piece garment in the region where the separation of the garment runs horizontally between the side seams.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a support shirt providing sleeve reinforcement regions on sleeve portions about a centerline. The centerline exists as a curvilinear axis across the support shirt. The support shirt comprises a shirt body, and shirt body sleeves positioned near the upper shirt body. The shirt body provides support for the wearer around the chest region. Sleeve portions are attached to the shirt body at the sleeve body holes. In an embodiment, the sleeve reinforcement regions comprise a length of taut material extending from the sleeve holes to an outer portion of the sleeve about the centerline. The sleeve portions extend in an outward direction relative to a frontal plane of the shirt body and in a downward direction relative to a transverse plane of the shirt body.

Abstract: A grip enhancing hand and wrist covering for improving a user's ability to grip a ball, comprising a glove component and a wrist component, each having a plurality suction cups disposed thereon. The glove component is defined by a conventional glove body having a plurality of suction cups spanning the surface of each finger and the thumb on the palmar side. A hook and loop fastener is disposed at the base of the glove component so as to allow the glove component to removably attach to a wrist component of the grip enhancing hand and wrist covering. The corresponding wrist component is defined as an elongated hollow cylinder having a proximal end and a distal end. Disposed across the anterior side of the wrist component are suction cups.

Abstract: A pair of magnetic mechanics gloves for allowing metal objects to be removably attached magnetically thereto comprising a right magnetic mechanics glove and a left magnetic mechanics glove. The right magnetic mechanics glove is defined by a conventional right handed glove body having magnetically infused finger tips and, in some embodiments, a magnetically infused dorsal side. The left magnetic mechanics glove is defined by a conventional left handed glove body which has three magnetic strips affixed in parallel to the surface of its dorsal side, below the finger area and above the wrist area.

Abstract: A golf glove employing a cleaning member includes a palm portion and an opposing back portion. The cleaning member may be fixedly or detachably connected to the back portion of the glove. A flap member attached to the back portion of the glove is positionable between a closed position, in which the flap member overlays at least a portion of the cleaning member, and an open position in which the flap member is displaced from the back portion of the glove to provide access to the cleaning member.

Abstract: A golf glove employing a cleaning member includes a palm portion and an opposing back portion having an opening for receiving the cleaning member. The cleaning member may be fixedly connected to the back portion of the glove. A flap member attached to the back portion of the glove is positionable between a closed position, in which the flap member overlays at least a portion of the cleaning member, and an open position, in which the flap member is displaced from the back portion of the glove to provide access to the cleaning member.

Abstract: A support mask apparatus secured to a head of a user and a supporting structure to enhance sleep quality by supporting the head in a stationary and neutral position is provided. The support mask includes an opaque protective member placed over eyes of the user, an elastic strap with a first end coupled to a left edge of the protective member and a second end coupled to a right edge of the protective member, the elastic strap able to be secured around the head of the user, a flexible cord with a first end coupled to the left edge of the protective member and a second end coupled to the right edge of the protective member, and an adjustment mechanism operably connected to the flexible cord. The adjustment mechanism enables the user to securely fasten the flexible cord around the supporting structure.

Abstract: Various examples are provided for pants, shorts and skirts including a hip pocket. In one embodiment, among others, a pair of pants includes first and second pant legs and a hip pocket positioned along an outer portion of the first pant leg and adjacent to a front pocket of the pair of pants. The hip pocket can have an opening that is substantially perpendicular to a seam extending along a length of the first pant leg. In another embodiment, a skirt includes a waistband that secures around a waist of a wearer of the skirt and a hip pocket positioned along a side portion of the skirt and adjacent to a hip of the wearer. The hip pocket can have an opening that is substantially parallel to the waistband of the skirt.

Abstract: The present invention relates to underwear for men. Information that it is good to maintain the underbody (genital organs) of men cool have been already been attested in scientific theses of foreign universities. It has been proved that the spermatogenic ability of men (genital organs) is further higher in an environment lower by 2 to 4 Celsius than body temperature. However, despite the above-mentioned scientific evidence, underwear for men up to now has been produced in the same simple shape for protection against the outside without distinction from underwear for women. The present invention relates to 21 century underwear for men which is different from conventional underwear for men and which causes improvement in skin health and reproductive ability in a sanitary and health manner.

Abstract: A sports helmet optimizes the full peripheral field of vision of its wearer. The optical properties of the entire protective shell will allow the transmission of light, while reflecting a colored appearance externally, and remaining antireflective from the eye of the wearer. Internal padding and face guard also enhance the transmission of light compared to existing designs. Helmets constructed in accordance with the invention are made with a transparent shell material, with one or more optical layers to achieve an anti-reflective view from the eye side of the helmet and an acceptable appearance on the external surface of the shell. Single or multiple metalized thin films may be used to create a one-way mirror effect. In other embodiments see-through graphics may be used with microdot patterns. In certain embodiments, multiple optical coatings may be used to achieve a desired combination of transparency and light-absorbing properties.

The assembly is operable to suck the odors at a proximal point to their discharge. A receptacle receives a discharge. The receptacle includes a seat for providing a surface for a user to sit for performing the discharge. The seat include at least one aperture that receives and directs the odor to a cavity within the seat. A pressure differential portion sucks the odor from the cavity. The odors passes through a dispersion tube behind the toilet, and through an existing barrier. The dispersion tube joins with at least one existing pipe and tubing behind the existing barrier. The existing pipes carries the odor to an exhaust portion. Existing pipes and structures are used to minimize costs.

Abstract: A location detection system for person support apparatuses includes multiple network wireless access points that communicate with a plurality of mobile transceivers positioned on board the person support apparatuses. Based upon signal strength data (e.g. RSSI or RCPI) of messages from the access points to the transceivers, the locations of the person support apparatuses are determined. In some embodiments, the person support apparatuses include an additional location detection system that utilizes fixed locators having short range transceivers to generate a second location determination of the person support apparatuses. In still other embodiments, the person support apparatuses utilize the second location detection system to determine the location of the wireless access points. The person support apparatuses may also broadcast their location to other devices that then utilize the received signal strengths of those messages to determine their own location.
