Publication number: 20150096749Abstract: A borehole is drilled from the surface to an underground shale matrix. A pipe is inserted into the borehole. Openings are created in the pipe in fluid communication with fractures in the shale matrix. The interior surface of at least one section of pipe is coated with a contaminant-capturing substance. Fracturing fluid including water, proppants and chemicals is pumped through the pipe and into the fractures in the shale matrix. The fluid re-enters the pipe from the shale matrix and moves toward the surface through the coated pipe section where contaminants are sequestered by the coating. Natural gas or oil from the fractured shale then enters the pipe and moves to the surface to be collected. The coated pipe section remains in the ground permanently such that the necessity of disposing of the captured contaminants is eliminated.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2014Publication date: April 9, 2015Inventor: DONALD NEVIN

Publication number: 20150096774Abstract: I being, in the business of farm implement and tractor repair, have come to realize that sometimes repairing old equipment is difficult and more costly than just replacing with a new part or a complete implement. I found this particularly true with the cultipacker, after having several customers ask for repairs on old ones and having problems repairing them due to lack of reliable wheels. I decided to see if I could come up with a product to solve the problem. After about five years of research, trial and error I finally came up with what I consider an excellent solution to the problem The Carbon Steel Cultipacker Wheel. Since my invention of the wheel I have sold many steel wheel cultipackers and have happy customers.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2013Publication date: April 9, 2015Inventor: Shawn Lamar Edwards

Publication number: 20150096790Abstract: A mask is formed over a first conductive portion of a conductive layer to expose a second conductive portion of the conductive layer. An electrolytic process is performed to remove conductive material from a first region and a second region of the second conductive portion. The second region is aligned with the mask relative to an electric field applied by the electrolytic process. The second region separates the first region of the second conductive portion from the first conductive portion. The electrolytic process is concentrated relative to the second region such that removal occurs at a relatively higher rate in the second region than in the first region.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2013Publication date: April 9, 2015Applicant: INVENSAS CORPORATIONInventors: Cyprian Emeka Uzoh, Sitaram Arkalgud

Publication number: 20150096791Abstract: In a ceramic multilayer substrate formed by stacking and firing a plurality of insulating layers, the insulating layer in an uppermost surface layer includes a ceramic layer, a contraction suppression layer stacked on the ceramic layer, and a surface-layer via conductor penetrating through the ceramic layer and the contraction suppression layer and having a tapered shape gradually tapering toward the lower layer side. The surface-layer via conductor has an end surface that is exposed from the contraction suppression layer forming the surface of the ceramic multilayer substrate, and that is directly connected to a terminal of a component mounted to the surface of the ceramic multilayer substrate. A weight ratio of alumina contained in the contraction suppression layer is set higher than a weight ration of alumina contained in the ceramic layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2014Publication date: April 9, 2015Inventor: Tsuyoshi Katsube

Publication number: 20150096792Abstract: An electronic component unit includes a substrate including principal surfaces opposing each other and side surfaces between the principal surfaces, and components mounted on the principal surface of the substrate. The side surfaces include first side surfaces formed before the components are mounted and second side surfaces formed after the components are mounted. As viewed from a line normal to the principal surface of the substrate, distances between the first side surfaces and the components are different from distances between the second side surfaces and the components.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2014Publication date: April 9, 2015Inventors: Kazuto OGAWA, Isao KATO
