Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for holding a lipstick column and a lipstick applicator in a common protected container to allow them to be conveniently accessed with one retrieval motion. The apparatus is comprised of a base and cover that contain a retractable lipstick column and a separately detachable lipstick applicator. The lipstick column is contained in a first portion of the base and the lipstick applicator is contained in a second portion of the base.

Abstract: A pack frame apparatus having first and second frame portions configured to be secured to a backpack, wherein the first and second frame portions provide structural rigidity to the backpack when secured to the backpack. The first frame portion is configured to be secured to shoulder straps of the backpack, and the second frame portion is configured to be secured adjacent to a waist strap of the backpack. A joint joins the first and second frame portions to allow relative pivotal movement around a first axis and to allow resilient relative pivotal movement around a second axis.

Abstract: A method of collapsing a board carrier that has a central portion having a pocket and a remainder section. The carrier also has shoulder straps and board-retaining tension members, some of which are attached to the exterior surface of the pocket. The pocket is inverted, thereby pulling the portions of shoulder straps and tension members attached to the exterior surface of the pocket into the inverted pocket. Then, all remaining straps and tension members and the remainder section are stuffed into the pocket, thereby creating a compact packet.

The through hole (3) is formed in one or more portions by a predetermined length at a predetermined portion around a front, back, left or right of the bristle body (5) to prevent the bristle body (5) from being separated from the head (2). The bristle body (5) and the head (2) are connected to each other by one or more connecting portions. This toothbrush enables the bristle body implanted with bristles to freely and flexibly move upwards, downwards, leftwards or rightwards in the through hole of the head, so that the bristle body flexibly moves so as to adapt to various shapes of the teeth when brushing the teeth, thereby maximizing the contact area between the teeth and the bristles as well as the brushing effect.

In such embodiments, the connection between platforms is perpendicular to the length of the rack, while the connection between segments is parallel to the length of the rack. The sliding device includes sliding rails each having a pair of flanges, and balls slidably connecting the sliding rails to each other. Each flange includes a raceway in which a portion of the corresponding ball is disposed. The raceway guides the ball such that the ball rolls in a direction of extension or retraction of the drawer. The raceway includes a bent part and support surfaces. The bent part extends parallel to the direction of extension or retraction of the drawer. The bent part is concave in a direction in which the ball is inserted into the raceway. The support surfaces are disposed forming a symmetric structure with respect to an imaginary line connecting a center point of the ball to the bent part.

The pivot end and the shaft define a central line. Therefore, the worm is rotated to cause the worm wheel to rotate so as to cause the connecting board to pivot around the shaft, thereby adjusting the angle between the central line and the gas spring and hence the tilting angle of the gas spring.

Abstract: An apparatus that supports a tattoo artist in a variety of positions to comfortably apply one or more tattoos to skin of a subject is herein disclosed. The apparatus can be reconfigured to optimally position and support the arms and/or chest of the tattoo artist. A method for using a tattoo stool can involve rotating armrests of the apparatus from a stowed position to a deployed position. The armrests can support the user's forearms while supporting the user's chest such that the user can comfortably tattoo a portion of the subject positioned in front of the stool.

Abstract: A compact collapsible camping chair includes upper tubes, leg tubes, a molded central tube connector and a seat back. The tube connector is molded from aluminum, zinc or plastic reinforced with glass fiber. Lower ends of the upper tubes fit snugly into circular upper holes in the central tube connector, and upper ends of the leg tubes fit snugly into circular lower holes in the central tube connector. Upper ends of the upper tubes fit into tube receptacles in the seat back. The two longer upper tubes are bent, whereas the two shorter upper tubes are straight. Elastic cords pass from the upper tubes, through the tube connector and into the leg tubes and tend to pull the tubes into the holes in central tube connector. The upper tubes, leg tubes, central tube connector and seat back can be placed in a bag that is less than one foot long.

The first and second closure mechanisms overlie one another so that, when closed, only one of the closure mechanisms is exposed to atmosphere. Abstract: An improved closeable lid for a beverage container is described. The lid uses a base, a flanged gasket, a valve and a knob to allow a user to control the flow of liquid from the beverage container. The flanged gasket surrounds the base with radially extending flanges that conforms to the interior of the beverage container, creating a seal. The valve moves vertically to engage and disengage the seal created by mating the valve face to the valve seat. The vertical movement of the valve is modulated by the rotation of a knob that is connected to the valve that provides a threaded shaft. The user can consume liquid from the beverage container as a result one or more fluid apertures through the base allowing for the passage of fluids from the beverage container past the valve and through base to the user. When the knob is rotated to the closed position, the valve creates a seal preventing the flow of liquid through the fluid apertures of the base.

A through-hole is formed within the solid body. A top opening and a bottom opening with flat notch are set at both ends of said solid body. Abstract: The disclosed retractable arms clothes hanger is designed to allow it to be easily inserted into and removed from the neck opening of a tee shirt, pullover, buttoned down shirt, or turtleneck sweater when its arms are retracted in the down position. Once inserted, the turning knob of the retractable arms clothes hanger can be rotated so the arms can be extended into their rigid, upwardly extended position thereby preventing unnecessary garment stretching. By rotating the turning knob of the retractable arms clothes hanger in the opposite direction, the arms of the retractable arms clothes hanger can be retracted back to its down position. The retractable arms clothes hanger with its arms in the down position can be easily and conveniently stored when not in use, unlike conventional clothes hangers that take up more space and get easily tangled.

The two open ends of the U-shaped member (20) are used to retrieve dropped footwear. An improved elongate rod comprising an angle bend (26) component. The bend in the inside of the elongate angle rod (26) assists in the support of the foot, ankle, and leg during insertion of foot into sock. The first end of rod (24) is attached circular scissor type handle (28) for storing socks. Second end is attached U-shaped member (14). On reverse side of elongate rod angle bend (26) is an improved sock remover member (40). Other embodiments described as shown.

Abstract: An insulated baking pan that includes an inner pan and an outer pan, forming a double walled construction. The upper end of the inner pan includes a flange adapted to rest on the upper end of the outer pan such that the inner pan is suspended within the interior volume of the outer pan without directly contacting the interior thereof. In this way, the inner pan and the outer pan are separated by a space that can be filled with water. The water evenly applies heat to the inner pan as the baking pan is heated. The flange includes a plurality of apertures for allowing steam from the water to escape from the space between the inner and outer pans. In some embodiments, the flange also includes an opening thereon so as to allow a user to add water to the outer pan without removing the inner pan.

An adjustable opening is arranged beneath the transparent barrier and allows access to a grilling surface. A support member couples a lower portion of the vertical risers together. A base includes wheels or casters for ease in repositioning the portable barrier. The base may include a decorative panel extending between the lower region of the vertical risers which includes the base to the upper region to below the adjustable opening.

Abstract: A machine prepares semi-frozen food products and/or beverages from pre-prepared (e.g. frozen) cups. A user chooses the desired frozen cup, inserts it into the machine, chooses how they would like it prepared from a range of thickness options, and the machine then opens a sealed chamber door and inserts the product upward into the chamber and prepares the product by blending it in the cup. Upon removal of the product and resealing of the chamber door, the cleaning mechanisms provide thorough cleaning of all food contact surfaces and the chamber interior. Automatic high temperature steam sanitation takes place in the chamber if the machine is not used for an extended period of time, thus greatly reflected or eliminating the need for manual cleansing and sanitation by an attendant and ensuring healthy food preparation in all times.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling odors in an enclosed space, such as a pit latrine, include providing an oxidizer, such as a catalytic heater and an optional mechanical ventilation unit, such as an inline fan, both flow connected to a vault (pit) of the latrine. Fresh air is drawn through vents in the latrine housing and thereafter through toilets in the latrine and through the vault, providing oxygen for the reaction. The fan and/or oxidation process draws both fresh air and accompanying odorous compounds directly from the latrine and into the oxidizer wherein the odorous components are substantially destroyed.

An air egress opening is provided in a lower surface of the outlet duct adjacent the open mouth to allow a portion of the air flow exiting the open mouth to be directed more downwardly towards the ground than a remaining portion of the air flow.
