Abstract: The invention relates to a bloom retarding fat composition comprising a component A and a component B. Component A is present in an amount of 40-95% (w/w) of said bloom retarding fat composition, and component B is present in an amount of 5-60% (w/w) of said bloom retarding fat composition. Component A comprises a fat composition having a content of SatOSat TAGs of 60% (w/w) or higher. Component B comprises a fat composition having a content of saturated fatty acids of 30% (w/w) or less. In component B the total content of Sat2U TAGs of 18% (w/w) or less, and a content Sat3 TAGs of 8% (w/w) or less. Further in component B the content of SatSatU TAGs in Sat2U of component B is 1% (w/w) or more. Also the molar ratio of SatSatU:SatUSat TAGs is 1 or higher in component B and wherein Sat is a C16-20 saturated fatty acid, and wherein O stands for oleic acids; U stands for unsaturated fatty acids, including oleic acid. The invention relates to various applications of such a bloom retarding fat composition.

Abstract: A process for extraction of crude oil from distillers dried grain solubles and/or distillers dried grains and producing corn distillers meal that may be used as a livestock supplement is disclosed. For example, the corn distillers meal may be used as a crude protein supplement for use in a livestock feed diet or a poultry feed diet. The solvent extracted crude oil may be suitable for oleochemical processing for personal care and home care products, biodiesel production, and/or renewable diesel production from hydro-treating the extracted oil to make green diesel fuel.

Citrus pectin solution is subjected to an enzymatic hydrolysis by using a mixed pectinase solution under an acidic condition, so as to obtain PET-pectin that is completely hydrolyzed. The PET-pectin has several biological functions, including stability of emulsification, anti-oxidation and inhibition of cancer cell growth, thereby being applied on food emulsion stabilizers, food antioxidants and compositions for inhibiting cancer cell growth and so on.

Abstract: This invention provides a novel method for producing maize flour including at least one treatment step in which a product comprising maize is treated under alkaline conditions, wherein an alkaline solution is sprayed onto the product. Abstract: A method is disclosed for increasing systemic carotenoid levels in humans through oral consumption of tablets, capsules, food or beverage products containing microbial organisms capable of synthesizing carotenoid compounds. Carotenoid synthesis may occur in situ by microbial organisms colonizing the gut, or in food or beverage products where carotenoids accumulate and are subsequently consumed dietarily. The microbial organisms may be either transgenic—thus expressing genes in the carotenoid synthesis pathway derived from other microbial organisms, or they may comprise species or strains selected for natural synthesis of carotenoids. The central objective of the invention is to provide an improvement in human health through a novel method for supplying and delivering carotenoid compounds.

This invention involves a method for manufacturing and using a magnetic locking device system for attaching a bag to a pull-handle or other telescoping tubular device of a wheeled bag. The tensioning device and/or the cover may further include at least one heat source as part of the tensioning device and/or the cover.
