Abstract: A canopy tour system may include multiple track lines extending between associated upper and lower stations for loading, launching, receiving, and unclipping, respectively, riders of trolleys on the zip lines. A system of mechanical and electronic interlocks provides safety for users in remote locations, enabling individual riders to operate trolleys, including attaching and dis-attaching the trolleys from various track lines, unattended by other workers or employees of the canopy tour operation. Mechanical interlocks assure that a trolley cannot be properly engaged with a launch block on a track line until all such interlocks are properly closed. A master computer may communicate through a network, with all stations to verify and identify times and locations of users.

Abstract: An on-board device is loaded in a moving vehicle traveling on a track. The on-board device acquires failure data indicating a failure on the track. Based on the failure data, a traveling route is determined in case of the failure. The securement of the traveling route is determined based on station related data that is acquired from a station interface device of a station to which a branch on the route belongs and which indicates data of the branch, and different moving vehicle related data that is acquired from a different moving vehicle competing in at least a part of the traveling route and that indicates data of the different moving vehicle. The traveling of the moving vehicle is determined regarding the secured traveling route based on the different moving vehicle related data.

Abstract: A signaling system includes an on-board device provided for a moving vehicle traveling on a track, and a station interface device provided for a station, and a branch provided on the track. A second moving vehicle transmits different moving vehicle related data of itself to a first on-board device of a first moving vehicle. The first station interface device transmits station related data of the branch to the first on-board device. The first on-board device outputs a command which instructs to switch the branch, to the first station interface based on the different moving vehicle related data and the station related data, to secure the traveling route. The first station interface device switches the branch and secures the traveling route. The first on-board device determines the traveling of the first moving vehicle of the secured traveling route based on the different moving vehicle related data.
