  • Patent number: 9295864
Abstract: Disclosed is a fire extinguishing composition of copper salts, which comprises a compound of copper salts and a fire retardant component with the content of 30 wt %-95 wt % for the former and 5 wt %-70 wt % for the latter respectively. A pyrotechnic agent in the composition serves as heat source and power source, and through being ignited, the pyrotechnic agent is burnt to generate high temperature to enable the composition to perform decomposition reaction so that a large quantity of the resulting fire extinguishing substances can be spouted out with the pyrotechnic agent to achieve an object of fire extinguishing. The fire extinguishing composition of copper salts can decrease the quantity of heat released by combustion of the pyrotechnic agent rapidly and efficiently, thus greatly reducing the nozzle temperature of a fire extinguishing apparatus and a sprayed substance, avoiding use of a complicated cooling system of the fire extinguishing apparatus, and also eliminating the danger of a secondary fire.

  • Patent number: 9295871
Abstract: A body weight trainer fitness device allows for the strengthening and normalization of functional movement patterns for those who are not otherwise able. The device accomplishes this with the use of resilient strength bands which are provided in the form of heavy duty rubber bands of varying widths. The bands are selectively attached to a frame via selectively-moveable band holders. The device may then be used to offload the user's weight and thus decrease resistance or it can be used to increase the resistance of an exercise. The bands can be oriented to offload the user's body weight allowing a user to exercise with proper form. Once normal functional movement can take place without the bands, the device may be configured to utilize the bands as resistance to improve these functional motion patterns.

Abstract: A customizable hockey skate includes a removable runner-blade assembly such that a runner-blade assembly having a first stiffness may be readily replaced with a runner-blade assembly having a second stiffness. The runner-blade assembly may be removably attached to first and second cups that are optionally removably attached to the sole of a skate boot. The first and second cups optionally are removably attachable at multiple lateral locations on the sole. Mounting plates to which the first and second cups are mounted may be included to provide damping interfaces between the first and second cups and the boot sole. The first and second cups may be separately removable from the sole such that the first cup may be replaced with a third cup (for example, a cup having a different stiffness than the first cup) without removal of the second cup.

  • Patent number: 9295902
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to skateboard and caster devices. More particularly, in a manner the invention concerns both dual wheel and single wheel axle supports of trucks and casters having a suspension mechanism for absorbing shock. The suspension mechanism is uniquely designed to progressively increase suspension resistance as forces acting on the mechanism increase by elastically deforming an independent arm in a manner to contact another arm or structure thereby transforming the independent arm into a dependent arm that results in a progressive resistance to a load until the forces are terminally engaged into a resilient abutment. A novel alignment mechanism functions to maintain the skateboard steering function.

Abstract: A bowling lane maintenance machine is provided with separate reservoirs for constituent conditioning components to allow separate storage of the conditioning components and mixing of the conditioning components just prior to application to a surface of the bowling lane. One conditioning component may be a polar component such as a polyethylene glycol and another conditioning component may be a non-polar component such as a mineral oil based product. Separate reservoirs for constituent cleaning components are also provided so that the cleaning components may also be stored separately and then mixed together just prior to application to the bowling lane surface. Primary and secondary drive wheels are positioned on opposite sides of the machine forwardly of a conditioner application roller in the intended forward direction of travel of the machine so that they do not leave “tracks” on the conditioner after its application on the bowling lane.

Abstract: A collection of game pieces including a block and a support tray. The block includes a top surface, a first width and a thickness. The support tray includes a top surface, a bottom surface, a second width, a depressed portion on the surface and the support tray is adapted to removably receive the block centrally on the top surface. The ratio of the first width and the second width ranges from about 6:7 to about 1:2 such that a flange of the support tray is formed. The block is configured to receive a plurality of nails driven into it using a striking tool and if the striking tool accidentally misses the block while used in driving a nail into the block, the flange is used to arrest the striking motion of the striking tool.

  • Patent number: 9295908
Abstract: A mobile gaming device may be a player's own personal tablet, smartphone, PDA, etc., with an application program installed via the internet for carrying out a remote gaming session. All gaming functions are carried out by a stationary gaming terminal communicating with the mobile device, such as by using WiFi or other wireless protocol. The mobile device operates as a user interface. While the player is playing one game on the mobile device, the venue's system recommends other games to the player via the player's tablet either based on the player's past gaming history, if the player used a player tracking card, or based on real time game play, if the player is anonymous. Upon the player selecting a different game, the system automatically transfers communications to a different gaming terminal and transfers the player's credits. The gaming terminals may be gaming machines, where each gaming machine carries out a different game.
